NOTABLE QUOTES
Peter Skurkiss contributor to American Thinker: In Mere Christianity, C.S. Lewis wrote: “If there are rats in the cellar you are most likely to see them if you go in very suddenly… The rats are always there in the cellar, but if you go in shouting and noisily they will have taken cover before you switch on the light.” In this regard, Donald Trump was the surprise light that exposed the rats gnawing away at America’s foundations since at least the 1980s.
Jonathon Moseley contributor to American Thinker: Republican voters want leaders who lead, not hide under their desks playing “duck and cover.” They want Republican politicians to decisively challenge and defeat Leftist lies, not run for the tall grass. Year after year, we watch easily-answered lies from the Left spread as truth because the Republican establishment has no stomach for robust debate.
Pedro Gonzales contributor to American Greatness: Our lawmakers and leaders occupy fantasy worlds where the solutions to all of life’s problems are as simple as regulating more or less.
Dr. Anthony Fauci on CNN Sunday when asked if masks will still be worn in 2022, replied: But I mean, obviously, I think we’re going to have a significant degree of normality, beyond what the terrible burden that all of us have been through over the last year, that as we get into the fall and the winter, by the end of the year, I agree with the president completely, that we will be approaching a degree of normality, it may or may not be precisely the way it was in November of 2019. But it’ll be much, much better than what we’re doing right now.
Shane Trejo contributor to Big League Politics wrote: A medical expert and leading researcher at Johns Hopkins University is predicting that America will reach herd immunity for COVID-19 “by April,” in contradiction to the fear porn pushed by Dr. Anthony Fauci and other Big Pharma mercenaries.
Jeffrey Ludwig contributor to American Thinker We are not simply “descending into the mud” of anti-patriotism. We are immersed and suffocating within the mud, and soon it is likely that the Stars and Stripes will be dispensed with as the symbol of the country we love.
John Taylor Gatto American author and school teacher: Mass dumbness is vital to modern society. The dumb person is wonderfully flexible clay for psychological shaping by market research, government policymakers, public-opinion leaders, and any other interest group. The more pre-thought thoughts a person has memorized, the easier it is to predict what choices he or she will make.
Fred T. contributor to The Right Scoop on Cola-Cola’s wokeness: Being anti-racist is the hot new woke saying that means “anti-white.” And before you call me sensitive, you should know that it’s THEM saying it means to be anti-white. Anti-“whiteness” they call it, as if that is different. And Coca-Cola, former champions of the American melting pot, are now on the leading edge of re-segregation.
Edward Ring contributor to American Greatness: Libertarians, to their credit, do not operate with the same level of lies and hatred as leftist Democrats. They also tend to be more willing to stand on principle, although this may be more a function of their status as spoilers. The actual challenge of governing requires compromises.

PRESIDENT TRUMP
Valentine: Trump Versus Big Tech
Uh oh! Word is leaking out of Mar-a-Lago that President Trump may be delivering a major social media platform on which conservatives can chat away. There’s something hidden in the technology disruption shadows behind that rumor, so let’s explore it a bit. Twitter. Facebook. The Washington Post. The New York Times. People, there is no fancy technology at any of those sites; there is simply scale. We are at the end of life for current silicon-based technology. Even the highly regarded Gartner Group in its 2021 technology forecasts said that companies need to understand silicon can no longer scale by adding faster circuits. Companies need to look for an alternative to the current tech stack — yes, the one used by all those Big Tech companies with scale.

Trump will address the conference’s audience Sunday, Feb. 28, according to a report from Fox News. James: Donald Trump Will Begin Vetting Candidates Seeking to Primary Republicans Who Have Disavowed Him
Politico broke the story Saturday morning, saying that Trump will formally vet hopeful candidates at Mar-a-Lago beginning sometime in March. The outlet claims, according to three sources, that Trump has already received “dozens of requests” from people who want to primary anti-Trump Republicans in the 2022 midterms. “We are in the process of putting together a more formal schedule for candidates who want to come get his endorsement,” Politico quoted senior Trump adviser Jason Miller as saying. […] This news comes as no surprise. In a February 16 statement, Trump said that “where necessary and appropriate, I will back primary rivals who espouse Making America Great Again and our policy of America First.” “We want brilliant, strong, thoughtful, and compassionate leadership,” he added.

HONORING RUSH
Reyes: A Solitary Sentinel: Rush Limbaugh, Rest in Peace
I am grateful that my mother so often insisted on making us listen to Rush Limbaugh’s radio show. She knew what I did not until it was almost too late: that Rush was for a long time a solitary sentinel, watching and warning the American people (and the world) of threats to their flourishing. With gratitude I have in the last few days read some beautiful words celebrating the life and work of the great Rush Limbaugh. There has also been vituperative and tactless rejoicing over his death. This outpouring of hatred, however, has served only to cement the truth that Rush himself taught through word and example: If people are really angry at something you are saying or doing, it is a sign that you are getting at the truth.

Heine: Gov. DeSantis Says Flags in Florida Will Be Lowered to Half-Staff to Honor Rush Limbaugh
“I know they’re still figuring out the arrangements but what we do when there’s things of this magnitude, once the date of internment for Rush is announced, we’re going to be lowering the flags to half-staff,” the governor said. Limbaugh, who resided at his “Southern Command” oasis in Palm Beach Florida for the past ten years, died on Ash Wednesday after a year-long bout with stage IV lung cancer. He was 70. DeSantis put out a statement following Limbaugh’s death, calling talk titan “the GOAT of radio, of conservative media” who inspired “a loyal army of American patriots.” […] During the the news conference in West Palm Beach Friday, DeSantis was joined by Limbaugh’s producer and friend, James Golden aka Bo Snerdly. […] Golden said that “America will be great again—not just because of Rush but because of men like … this governor.” Not surprisingly, the left howled with rage on social media following DeSantis’ announcement.

2020 ELECTION
Unruh:3 Supreme justices: 2020 election practices could have ‘catastrophic’ consequences
But majority refuses to act on complaints that state laws were violated. The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday declined to review election lawsuits by Pennsylvania Republicans challenging the state’s extension of the deadline for mail-in ballots. Three justices dissented — Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito and Neil Gorsuch — with Thomas warning of “catastrophic” consequences if the court doesn’t address the issue of authorities “changing the rules in the middle of the game.” Alito, joining with Gorsuch in dissent, pointed out that lower courts are divided on the issue. “In the cases now before us, a statute enacted by the Pennsylvania Legislature unequivocally requires that mailed ballots be received by 8 p.m. on election day. … Nevertheless, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court … altered that deadline and ordered that mailed ballots be counted if received up to three days after the election,” he said. Thomas, in a separate opinion, noted that the Constitution gives each state legislature the authority to determine the “manner” of federal elections. “Yet both before and after the 2020 election, nonlegislative officials in various States took it upon themselves to set the rules instead,” he wrote. “This is not a prescription for confidence. Changing the rules in the middle of the game is bad enough. Such rule changes by officials who may lack authority to do so is even worse. When those changes alter election results, they can severely damage the electoral system on which our self-governance so heavily depends. If state officials have the authority they have claimed, we need to make it clear. If not, we need to put an end to this practice now before the consequences become catastrophic,” he said.

TNA Video: Chamber of Horrors
The Chamber of Commerce was part of a coup attempt to overthrow FDR in 1933. According to Time magazine recently, they were implicated in election interference in the 2020 election . . . after which the CEO of the Chamber of Commerce Tom Donohue was forced to step down. Only in light of events AFTER the election do the record number of CEO firings make sense in 2019 and 2020. Were these corporate leaders resistant to the Chamber of Commerce’s bold plan to engineer the Presidential election? Is THIS why they had to go?

Ring: The Choice Facing Libertarians
This is an existential battle. Siphoning off voters from the side that’s fighting the hardest to preserve individual liberty and economic freedom is not principled. It is nihilism. f you want to find a Libertarian Party organization that has achieved relevance, look no further than Georgia. That’s where Shane Hazel, running for the U.S. Senate as a Libertarian, garnered 2.3 percent of the vote in November. Hazel’s showing may have been insignificant, but the Republican candidate, David Perdue, only needed 0.3 percent more votes to have avoided a runoff, where he lost. […] Libertarians object to the Left’s positions on regulations, “UN led US military actions,” eminent domain for private gain, taxpayer funding of government charities, and higher taxes. Libertarians object to the Right’s positions on “government regulated morality,” nation building, the war on drugs, the surveillance state, taxpayer funding of faith-based charities, stricter immigration laws, and corporate welfare. Most of this sounds pretty good. Maybe we should all be libertarians. But this chart underscores the luxury libertarians have that governing parties do not have. It’s all theoretical. A look at the center of the chart, “libertarian positions,” makes this clear.

THE FIGHT FOR ELECTION INTEGRITY
Citizen Free Press: DeSantis Issues 9-Point Plan For Election Integrity…
On Friday, in a blunt assessment of the situation, Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis issued an election integrity proposal that would ensure fair voting in his state. 1. Counties would be prohibited from receiving grants from private third-party organizations for “get out the vote” initiatives.
2. Ballot boxes would be examined for their trustworthiness 3. Ballot harvesting would be checked so that no one could have a ballot other then their own or their immediate family 4.
