Targeting Felon Votes With ‘Bidenbucks,’ Democrats Court The ‘Criminal Caucus’

Estimated Reading Time: 8 minutes

It’s not about the ‘right to vote’ for the big moneyed interests behind ‘reenfranchisement’ efforts. It’s about voting for the right people.  E.B. Jordan spent two years in the Women’s Huron Valley Correctional Facility on felony drug conviction charges. When she was released, long before her maximum 20-year sentence, Jordan went to work getting felons […]

Creating So Many Jobs that Destroy Wealth

Estimated Reading Time: 4 minutes

When Americans face an intense, hyper-partisan Presidential election, every labor market report becomes fodder for Administration claims of what great managers of the economy they are and counter-claims of how misleading such stewardship claims are. Of late, such dueling narratives have featured issues such as the seven-digit (and growing) difference between the official employment rate […]

Estimated Reading Time: 4 minutes

A federal Justice Department attorney expressed concerns to a Michigan judge about conservative media coverage suggesting that President Joe Biden’s administration is persecuting Christians and pro-lifers for their beliefs. The discussion took place during a March pre-trial conference in USA v. Zastrow, in which the federal government brought Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act charges against eight pro-life […]

The Bad Hand: Confronting the Fundamental Issue Behind America’s Decline

Estimated Reading Time: 6 minutes

It is never a surprise to discover malevolent people, who are found at all levels of society, among the elite. The temptation is to ascribe America’s decline to malevolence, and to conclude on that basis that the cure—the only possible cure—is to excise the malevolent and replace them with good guys. Incompetence, too, is to be found at all levels. Increasingly, incompetents occupy the upper reaches—perhaps the product of malign designs, but, if the cries of the elite are taken seriously, more often out of a sincerely held belief that justice in some way demands it. Here the tempting judgment is that the incompetent are the bums who must be thrown out, replaced in this case not by the pure of heart but the pure of talent.

Welcome to the ‘Parent Revolution’

Estimated Reading Time: 3 minutes

As conservatives, we aren’t naturally inclined to support and endorse revolutions. These movements are bloody, undemocratic, and often result in less freedom and more tyranny. Personally speaking, I have generational trauma from the Bolshevik Revolution’s lasting impacts on my family, particularly under evil dictator Joseph Stalin, so I generally balk at the term. But there […]

Take the Government Out of GDP

Estimated Reading Time: 6 minutes

Editors’ Note: a substantial portion of what Bidenonmics calls “growth”, is the growth of government, an unproductive part of the economy.  A better read on the economy can be had by removing government and seeing how the productive part of the economy is faring. The picture is not healthy as a combination of increased regulation […]

Sand in the Face

Estimated Reading Time: 5 minutes

Offering condolences for the butcher of Tehran is a gut punch to military veterans. As final confirmation came that Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi died when his helicopter crashed in northern Iran, I was aghast to see the Biden administration offer its condolences for the death of a murderer. A press statement attributed to career Washingtonian […]

Israel Is Succeeding in Gaza

Estimated Reading Time: 2 minutes

Western analysts think otherwise, because they are seeing Israel’s war through the lens of America’s own failed counterinsurgency doctrine. As the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) conducts another assault in the north of Gaza, they face significant criticism from Western officials and analysts who are asking why the IDF is repeatedly going into areas they have […]

A rotten stench wafts from the muck surrounding the University of Arizona’s acquisition of Ashford University. I need a shower. Maybe that will remove the stench from digging in the muck surrounding the University of Arizona’s acquisition in 2020 […]

Did Devon Archer Just Hand Over The Smoking Gun To Take Out Biden?

Estimated Reading Time: 2 minutes

Bigger Question: Do We Really Want To Remove Him? Please, fellow Republicans, tread cautiously and don’t fall prey to yet another cleverly-crafted left-wing trap. The timing is suspiciously perfect. As Biden continues to flail and his numbers plummet in poll after poll, we’re suddenly handed what appears to be a “smoking gun” against him, courtesy […]

Media: Gen Z is Doomed

Estimated Reading Time: 2 minutes

Years after the fact, the mainstream media is discovering that Gen Z is doomed. As CNN puts it, Gen Z is “earning less, has more debt, and higher delinquency rates than Millennials did at their age.” In short, the pandemic did a number on Gen Z, followed by a wallop from Bidenflation, lagging wages, and […]

What About The $17 million Dollar Secret “slush fund” Congress Used To Make Hush Money Payments To Sexual Victims?

Estimated Reading Time: 4 minutes

Editors’ Note: The multiple trials of Donald Trump are simply lawfare against the leading Republican candidate and are therefore election interference. These cases would never have been pursued if he had not run for office. Further, the Democrats want to make this spectacle about “character.” The following article points out the hypocrisy in this regard.  […]

Spending on net interest hit $514 billion in the first seven months of fiscal year 2024. That’s more than spending on both national defense ($498 billion) and Medicare ($465 billion). Medicare is the federal […]

Estimated Reading Time: < 1 minute

‘I had zero communications with the electors in Arizona, zero involvement…’ Attorney John Eastman, who represented former President Donald Trump in 2020 election-related lawsuits, was arrested in Arizona over allegations by Democratic prosecutors that he was involved in efforts to challenge the state’s election results. Eastman refuted the prosecution’s claims, asserting that he was never involved in any Arizona-related […]

Racing to Control Trump

Estimated Reading Time: 4 minutes

Every administration makes plans nearing the end of their term. It can either be if they are seeking reelection and want to make sure they have all their bases covered if they don’t win, or they are nearing the end of an eight-year term and wish to complete some projects. I myself was part of […]

Are We Back To The Everything Bubble?

Estimated Reading Time: 6 minutes

The term everything bubble was coined when seemingly all investments started to rise in unison, apparently in response to massive liquidity injected into the economy by both the Federal Reserve (monetary policy) and massive Federal deficit spending (fiscal policy). Many also believed that the force pushing all asset prices up at the same time was the era of zero interest rates. While the inflation of asset prices has continued, it seemed to take some time before the price level of everyday purchases started to rise sharply. Some have suggested this had to do with macro factors such as globalization and demographics. Whatever it was, there was a surprising delay but in the past few years, consumer price inflation has hit with full force.

It’s Time to Start Thinking About Trump 2.0

Estimated Reading Time: 3 minutes

The former president is polling as well as he ever has; there’s no reason to be caught flat-footed by victory again. It’s extremely early, but the former President Donald Trump is polling well enough to contemplate what his administration would look like in a second term. The answer is definitely different from what it was […]

IVF Modernizes Ancient Eugenic Practices Of ‘Selective Breeding’

Estimated Reading Time: 3 minutes

If states enforced restrictions on IVF, embryos would no longer be commodities that society can do with as it pleases. The Alabama Supreme Court’s recent and right decision to deem embryos created through in vitro fertilization (IVF) as people sparked concern from fertility facilities regarding the future of IVF. This concern resulted in Alabama rushing […]

New Study Calls into Question Whether DEI Programs Really Boost Corporate Earnings

Estimated Reading Time: 3 minutes

The replication crisis strikes again. It’s safe to say that diversity, equity, and inclusion is one of the more controversial ideas of our time (and a multibillion-dollar industry). Some such as Elon Musk argue that DEI — which definitionally speaking means addressing structural inequalities in society — constitutes blatant racism. Others contend that DEI is simply about creating more […]

Female Volleyball Player Payton McNabb Now Fights to Protect Women’s Sports

Estimated Reading Time: 3 minutes

Editors’ Note: Biden and the Democrats make a big deal about supporting “women’s rights”, deliberately conflating abortion with a right. No one has a right to kill another being to advance their goals, male or female, and clearly, a baby is being killed during an abortion. Only in the defense of life is taking another life […]

Joe “Boss Tweed” Biden

Boss Tweed cut a swath of corruption across American politics in the 19th Century so egregious it sparked a major reform movement. Still synonymous with political corruption is the term “Tammany Hall,” the epicenter of late 19th-century New York City politics. Tweed built a political machine that made him very wealthy and entrenched the power […]

Bipartisan But Brutal: Lessons from the Chinese Exclusion Act

Estimated Reading Time: 3 minutes

Bipartisanship is often heralded as the pinnacle of legislative achievement. The recent votes on foreign aid to Taiwan, Israel, and Ukraine offered a display of this heraldry. But we should stop praising bipartisanship as a virtue. It is not inherently praiseworthy. Bipartisanship is praiseworthy as a byproduct of the legislative process. When powers are divided, […]

‘The Idea … Is Crazy’: National Guard Official Says Mark Milley’s Jan 6. Warnings Led To Deployment Delay

Estimated Reading Time: 3 minutes

Editors’ Note: It appears the January 6th Capital Riot was exacerbated by the failure to deploy troops requested by President Trump. What seems lost on many commentators is that if an “insurrection” was the President’s intention, it would be nonsensical to deploy troops just to put it down. However, the riot got out of hand […]

The Rise of Left-Wing Nonprofit Journalism

Estimated Reading Time: 5 minutes

Editor’s Note: This is the introduction to a forthcoming CDC special report Nonprofits and Journalism: An Analysis of the Shifting Information Landscape and Potential Growth Opportunities. The decline of traditional metropolitan “objective” media outlets has affected the news landscape dramatically. Those outlets were more liberal and less objective than they pretended, and their business model, which […]

Nonprofits Are Making Billions off the Border Crisis

Estimated Reading Time: 4 minutes

Editors’ Note: If we are lucky enough to get a change in administration this fall, this connection between government, political cronies, and the use of Federal money to violate immigration laws through “non-profits” needs a thorough investigation. Non-profit status is granted to charities. But “charities” should get voluntary contributions, not money confiscated from taxpayers by […]

A Marxist Professor’s (Failed) Attempt to Explain How Socialism Would Deliver a PS5

Estimated Reading Time: 6 minutes

This doesn’t make socialism look very attractive. My family got a PlayStation 5 a few years ago. It’s a decision I sometimes regret because my youngest son, who is 7, likes to play it too much. (And that’s when it gets unplugged and stashed away.) But it’s easy to forget what a modern marvel the PS5 is. […]

4 Things to Know About Biden’s Latest Attack on Gun Ownership and Firearms Industry

Estimated Reading Time: 6 minutes

It’s an open secret that the Biden administration disdains lawful civilian gun owners almost as much as it does the lawful gun industry. But in case there was any doubt, new gun export regulations published late last month by the Commerce Department’s Bureau of Industry and Security make the administration’s position painfully clear: It doesn’t think ordinary civilians can be trusted with firearms. Here are four things to know about how the rule attacks the lawful gun industry and civilian gun ownership more broadly.

Estimated Reading Time: 13 minutes

The genocidal anti-Semitic attack on October 7, 2023 by the Islamic terrorists of Hamas at first aroused horror throughout the Western world. This summer will likely be a crucible from which election results will emerge this fall.  By available polling data, it appears Americans are unhappy with the direction of the country and unhappy with the enfeebled, protected, coddled, and coached President Joe Biden.  The most recent polls show some shifts favorable to Donald Trump. The real […]

Our Daughters Will Reap The Consequences Of Feminists Killing Boy Scouts

Estimated Reading Time: 4 minutes

Editors’ Note: The author makes an excellent point. The arguments made by feminists that there should be no differences between men and women and that they should be “equal” in all regards has led to the transgender movement, which is erasing the very concept of womanhood. In addition, if there can be no places for […]

Several new pieces of evidence indicate it’s even possible federal […]

States Actively Oppose The Attempted Title IX Rewrite

Estimated Reading Time: 2 minutes

Editors’ Note:  So far, we have not heard a peep out of Governor Hobbs or Attorney General Mayes on the Biden Administration’s twisting of Title IX. For many Democrats, what women need is unrestricted state-funded abortions, but otherwise, it is OK to define them out of existence. This is a great opportunity for Republicans to […]

Editors’ Note:  At Prickly Pear, we noted the influence of Modern Monetary Theory early on. It is dangerous, it is foolish, it is very inflationary. Violent crime is skyrocketing in Pima County, but officials are too busy planning to release lawbreakers onto the streets to actually do anything about it. HILLSDALE COLLEGE’S “IMPRIMIS”: Rogue Prosecutors and the Rise of Crime

Estimated Reading Time: 8 minutes

The writers of our Constitution placed their faith not in specific guarantees of rights—those came later—but in a system of checks on government power. Foremost is the separation of powers among the three branches of the federal government, as well as between the federal government and the states. For this system to work as designed, people in each branch of the federal government and in the state governments must do their jobs and stay in their respective lanes. But what happens when district attorneys—members of their states’ executive branches—refuse to execute the laws of the land? We are witnessing the results today in blue cities across America.

Merchan has also threatened jail time if Trump continues to violate the order.

Its Coal To The Rescue As Wind And Solar Fail To Keep The Lights On

Estimated Reading Time: 2 minutes

In Germany, they call it the “Energiewende,” meaning energy transition, and it doesn’t work. Germans have been forced to come to grips with sober energy reality after binging on more than half a trillion Euros of so-called “alternative” energy, such as wind turbines and solar panels.  This dramatically increased the price of electricity and created a serious risk of blackouts. Germany actually just announced plans to reactivate coal plants to provide reserve power and lower the risk of blackouts during the coming winter and years to come.

Every State Facing Deceptive, Unlimited Abortion Ballot Measures This November

Estimated Reading Time: 4 minutes

Democrats and their abortion giant allies want to legalize killing unborn babies throughout all nine months of gestation in every state. A majority of U.S. adults reject that position, but that fact hasn’t stopped the ballot measure battle that plagued Ohio last year from infiltrating several other states, including those controlled by Republicans, during the 2024 election cycle.

An Arizona rancher who was previously charged with fatally shooting an illegal immigrant on his property will not be retried, prosecutors declared. George Alan Kelly, a 75-year-old Arizona rancher who was charged for the 2023 killing of a Mexican national who illegally crossed into the U.S. and encroached on his property, won’t be retried in court, prosecutors announced Monday. The decision comes after a deadlocked jury resulted in the judge declaring a mistrial earlier this month. “Because of the unique circumstances and challenges surrounding this case, the Santa Cruz County Attorney’s Office has decided not to seek a retrial,” Deputy County Attorney Kimberly Hunley declared to County Superior Court Judge Thomas Fink, according to CBS News. Kelly was charged on Jan. 30, 2023, for second-degree murder and aggravated assault after allegedly shooting unarmed illegal immigrant Gabriel Cuen-Buitimea, 48, as he was traveling through Kelly’s property near the Arizona-Mexico border.

The Ruination of Plane Travel

Estimated Reading Time: 5 minutes

The best time to write about how horrible plane travel has become is immediately following, or, in this case, during a scheduling and delay disaster that completely upends the routines of life. When it doesn’t happen and your flight goes well, you just don’t care that much. But when you are in the thick of it – I’m writing now from a 36-hour international travel time on a 19-hour delayed domestic flight that just took off – it feels like the apocalypse. It’s more common now than I can ever remember. I’m at the point of trying not to travel unless I have to because 3 of 5 of my trips these days seem to end up this way. I’ve come to expect disaster and so prepare for it. But most people start with the assumption that all is going to go well because that’s how it always worked in the past.

Get Off My Highway

Estimated Reading Time: 4 minutes

Those who know me, and regular readers should after all these years, know that I have an indelible spirit when it comes to my love and belief in America. While people from both sides of the political spectrum bemoan the downfall of our way of life or “our Democracy,” I laugh and shrug it off. I tell them “This is America, the greatest country ever invented. We will adjust and we will endure.” Recently I even flinched. It is easy to question where we are heading with many of our society’s developments. The significant disregard for property rights is evidenced by the explosion of brazen theft attacks on our retailers. Likewise, the explosion of squatters believing they can occupy someone’s home without their consent. The worst part of this is the near-total emasculation of our policing authority with the demonstrative endorsement of many elected officials supposedly in the position to stop such acts.

Palestinian Refugees In The U.S.? Biden’s Potential Plan Takes Fire

Estimated Reading Time: 2 minutes

Editors’ Note:  Jordan and Egypt have refused to take them in, as have other Arab states.  With over 70% of Gaza residents supporting Hamas, this is tantamount to deliberately importing potential terrorists in the US.  There really is not way of vetting the true refugee from the terrorists. Why would Biden want to do that? […]

WEEKEND READ: Is it White Privilege to be Married? (Part 1)

Estimated Reading Time: 6 minutes

We hear a lot today about “white privilege”, “white fragility“, “systemic racism”, and “white supremacy”. Some have gone so far as to claim math is racist. Not long ago the Smithsonian Institution made some claims about certain human traits that anyone can choose to have, but was presumed to be white and therefore bad. Some of those traits included the use of logic, being on time, politeness, and marriage. Not bad traits at all, we think. To ascribe characteristics to people on the basis solely of white skin color is truly racist because there can be vast differences among Caucasians. We should judge others by their behavior. So, we have the irony of those complaining about racism being the biggest racists of all.

In a leaked audio recording posted on social media, New Mexico Democrat Gov. New Bombshell Evidence Emerges: Was Trump Set Up in Classified Docs Saga?

Estimated Reading Time: < 1 minute

Editors’ Note: This is a very important story. It would appear that when it comes to political dirty tricks, and the manipulation of the legal system, the Biden Administration has no peer. Not even Richard Nixon comes close to this. This week in Florida, Judge Aileen Cannon unsealed a trove of new documents that Jack […]

Associated Press Admits New Indictments Are ‘Campaign’ To ‘Deter’ GOP From Questioning Elections

Estimated Reading Time: 2 minutes

The Associated Press (AP) admitted Friday that this week’s indictment of 18 Arizona Republicans is “part of a campaign” to “deter” Republicans from raising challenges and concerns about the integrity of the 2024 election. Democratic Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes indicted 18 individuals, 11 of whom she claims acted illegally when they convened as alternate […]

Why the US Debt Is Unsustainable and Is Destroying the Middle Class

Estimated Reading Time: 5 minutes

In a recent tweet, a talented financial analyst and investor stated: “The “debt is unsustainable” narrative has been around for 40 years plus. What’s astonishing to me is how the people who push this narrative never ask themselves, “Why has it been sustainable for so long?”. There is a widespread idea that the fiscal imbalances […]

US Economic Growth Plunges in First Quarter 2024

Estimated Reading Time: 2 minutes

The release of 1st quarter 2024 Gross Domestic Product (GDP) on April 25th surprised virtually all forecasters. The first three months of 2024 were characterized by a notable deceleration in US economic growth, marking an almost two-year low. The same data release revealed that inflation, as measured by US GDP Personal Consumption Core Price Index […]

What to Do About the Terrorist Supporters Among Us

Estimated Reading Time: 5 minutes

Editors’ Note: We are firm advocates of free speech, even disgusting and hateful speech. But what we are now seeing, goes into action. Intimidating other students, attacking other students, denying them an education they paid for, blocking highways, and occupying buildings, are not free speech. University authorities are derelict in their duty to maintain safety […]

Mounting Debt Accumulation Won’t Go On Forever

Estimated Reading Time: 3 minutes

Joe Biden loves to give away money, especially if it’s not his own. He has spent trillions of dollars for political benefit that didn’t need otherwise to be spent. The recipients laud his compassion and generosity. Common Americans though are trapped in an inflationary spiral while our grandchildren face an unpayable bill. Thus, in a recent presentation about his second attempt to forgive student loan debt, he bragged about the hundreds of billions it would cost. He twice mentioned the fact that many blacks would receive benefits. He became so consumed in self-congratulation, he apparently lost awareness of how blatant was his political pandering. We know black voters are a key demographic in play in the upcoming election.

Iran Mullahs Speeding Up Nuclear Weapons Program: Anyone Interested?

Estimated Reading Time: 3 minutes

In the midst of the Hamas-Israel conflict — while the world’s attention is fixed on the war Iran and Hamas began — Iran’s ruling mullahs have seized the opportunity to advance their nuclear program. By backing, arming, and training Hamas, Hezbollah, and the Houthis, Iran launched a proxy war against Israel, leveraging the conflict in […]

Sotomayor’s “slam dunk” Backfires: Trump’s Team Torches Her ‘fraudulent electors’ Talking Point…

Estimated Reading Time: 3 minutes

Editors Note: Normally, we would not get into the legal weeds to this extent. But since the Arizona Attorney General, elected by a controversial 280 votes wants national attention, we don’t have much choice.  The arguments currently being made before the Supreme Court now become important to the Arizona case. Justice Sotomayor is not the […]

Mild Correction In Stocks Amidst Growing Background Problems In Bidenonmics

Estimated Reading Time: 5 minutes

We have suggested since late December that equities would start having some difficulty as we were seeing disturbing signs in the credit markets, commercial real estate, and housing markets. The stock market, however, did not seem as worried as we were and went on to have a stellar quarter.  Corporate earnings remain decent and liquidity […]

Fed’s Wait-and-See on Rate Cuts Further Supported by Extra-Hot “Core Services” PCE Inflation & Hot “Core” PCE Inflation

Estimated Reading Time: 2 minutes

Housing inflation refuses to cool for the eighth month, and five of the remaining seven core services accelerated further. This is not good. The core PCE price index, which excludes the volatile components of food and energy and is the inflation index the Fed is focused on, jumped by 3.9% annualized in March from February, […]

Pro-Palestine Protest Forms At ASU, Arrests Made

Estimated Reading Time: 2 minutes

A pro-Palestine protest led to arrests at the Tempe campus of Arizona State University on Friday. Protesters who set up an encampment were taken into custody by police. There were some pro-Israel counter-protesters as well. “Israel is a terrorist state,” protesters were shouting at one point, according to a video fromABC15. The outlet reported that […]

Terrorists Welcome

Estimated Reading Time: 6 minutes

The latest release into the American interior of an FBI terrorist suspect who illegally crossed the U.S.-Mexico border—a twice-freed Afghan national man free to roam America for 11 months until his capture—demands that the federal government regard this patterned problem as a chronic national security emergency requiring elevation to the highest priority within the intelligence community, federal law enforcement, and Congress. The case of the 48-year-old Mohammad Kharwin, whom an overwhelmed Border Patrol freed into America on March 10, 2023 before agents could confirm the FBI watch list hit that initially flagged him and whom a swamped Texas immigration court freed a second time in February, is the seventh example of its kind that can establish, just from disparate public records, a mortally dangerous failure pattern. More cases of accidental Border Patrol releases of illegally crossing terrorism suspects, who did not reach the public record, are highly likely if not certain.

Trump Faces 34 Felonies at Trial. But Was There a Crime?

Estimated Reading Time: 2 minutes

I can’t tell you how many people I know who do not like former President Donald Trump yet nonetheless smell prosecutorial overreach in Manhattan. Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has charged the former president with 34 felony counts of falsifying business records. Trump has pleaded not guilty. The case began with Michael Cohen, Trump’s onetime fixer, making a “hush […]

DARFUR GENOCIDE: Cherry-Picking History on College Campuses

Estimated Reading Time: 3 minutes

The Pro-Life Movement Has A Storytelling Problem

Estimated Reading Time: 5 minutes

Women are drawn toward what is aspirational and beautiful, not scary stories of grueling and unfamiliar situations. It turned out to be a very elegant trash can. Of […]

Editors’ Note:  Normally, we would not run an article of this length, but there are such rich veins of information to be mined here, that we think it is necessary. Why Small Businesses Hate Bidenomics

Estimated Reading Time: 3 minutes

If the economy is so good, why do small business leaders feel so bad? The latest Small Business Optimism Index from the National Federation of Independent Business could hardly be more depressing. Climate Change Is Normal and Natural, and Can’t Be Controlled

Estimated Reading Time: 3 minutes

The global warming crowd would like nothing better than to convince you that we are in a climate crisis and that they need to grab COVID-like emergency powers to dictate how you live your life. If it were not for the sinister nature of the movement, which wishes to control everything from the way we cook, drive, eat, our power sources, and the like, it would be amusing that they think their efforts to curtail C02, amidst all the other independent variables that are completely out of their control, can create what they imagine as the perfect climate.  They will fail to meaningfully change the climate but they may well succeed in taking our freedom, destroying all economic prosperity and impoverishing Americans.

“Bidenbucks” Make “Zuckbucks” Look Like Chump Change

Estimated Reading Time: 5 minutes

Election integrity watchdogs say private funds in elections pale in comparison to what Biden has wrought through the power of his pen. Think “Zuckbucks” are bad? In addition, 22 American states have banned the use […]

The Perfidious Nature of Lawfare – Democrats “Saving Democracy”

Estimated Reading Time: 2 minutes

On April 17th, we attended the symposium put on by Dave Wanetick and “Davos In The Desert” in Ahwatukee.  It was mostly a somber evening with a few flickers of hope. The subject was “lawfare”, a relatively new term to connote the use and abuse of the legal system to damage a political opponent or […]

The Illegals Are Truly a Benefit

Estimated Reading Time: 4 minutes

Of course, they are not really “illegals” as they should properly be referred to as “undocumented immigrants,” “unauthorized immigrants,” “non-citizens,” “without status,” and/or “unlawfully present.” As the Left stumbles over the correct characterization of people who have entered this country with no compliance to our national laws and remain here despite their continuing non-compliance, the […]

The Colorblind Counterattack

Estimated Reading Time: 5 minutes

We prefer the term “righteous indignation” to “hatred” because we know that it is very hard to pour hatred on sin without splashing any on the sinner. Yet hatred is the right response to evil. The Sex Education of Our Nation’s Children: Since the Sexual Revolution

Estimated Reading Time: 4 minutes

Then came the 1960s and the Sexual Revolution. Many attribute the Sexual Revolution to the birth control pill approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in 1960. Thinking About Abortion and Arizona Elections

Estimated Reading Time: 8 minutes

Deborah Birx Gets Her Close-Up

Estimated Reading Time: 5 minutes

Most Americans will remember Dr. Deborah Birx as the “scarf lady” who served on the White House’s Covid Response Team beginning in February 2020. Another Dismal Tax Day: Can It Drive Fiscal Reform?

Why The Public Does Not Love Bidenonmics

Estimated Reading Time: 4 minutes

The Biden Administration is frustrated. After dumping fiscal stimulus that exceeds both the New Deal and the Great Society into the economy, he gets strikingly little political payback for such lavish handouts. The economy has been growing at a decent rate, unemployment appears rather low, and the stock market has been doing much better than […]

Democrats Don’t Want You To Know How Moderate Trump’s Abortion Stance Is

Estimated Reading Time: 4 minutes

Come to think of it, the GOP’s federal bill is also pretty moderate. Abortion on demand, for any reason, until birth, funded by taxpayers. That’s the modern left’s position on the issue. Democrats are so dug into their extremism that they can’t even support bills that compel “doctors” to keep babies who survive a homicide […]

Israel: Standing Alone Against Multifaceted Threats, Thanks to the Biden Administration

Estimated Reading Time: 4 minutes

In the tumultuous landscape of the Middle East, Israel stands as a beacon of freedoms, human rights and democracy amid a sea of terrorist organizations and authoritarian regimes seeking its destruction. Israel is currently facing a multi-front war for its survival, with Qatar, Iran, and Iran’s proxies, which are encircling Israel, leading the charge. The gravity of this aggression cannot be overstated: not just for the existence of Israel, but also for that of the US, Europe, and the West. To prevent Israel’s adversaries from escalating – which, of course, is what they do when they receive US support, the Biden Administration needs to show Israel and other US allies unwavering support – just as the US did this week with Japan.

Beneath the Skin of CPI Inflation, March: Inflation Behaves Very Badly, Saga Far from Over

Estimated Reading Time: 2 minutes

Ugly inflation in services drives up the 3-month “core CPI” for 7th month, to 4.5% annualized, worst in a year, and the 3-month overall CPI to worst since Nov 2022. So inflation behaved very badly again in March. January was terrible, but it was kind of written off as maybe one of those January blips. […]

Arizona Attorney General Says She Won’t Enforce State Supreme Court Ruling Banning Abortion

Estimated Reading Time: 2 minutes

Democratic Attorney General Kristin Mayes of Arizona announced on Tuesday that she would not enforce a ruling from her state’s supreme court upholding an 1864 law that bans most abortions. On Tuesday, the Arizona Supreme Court ruled that a law criminalizing abortions, except in cases where necessary to save the mother’s life, may be enforced following the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization in 2022, which ruled that there is no constitutional right to an abortion. Mayes, one of the named parties in the case, subsequently issued a statement on X condemning the decision while claiming that her prosecutors would not enforce the law against doctors and women seeking abortions.

Among the many destructive ideas loose in American education is that black students should not be expected to master standard English because doing so is demeaning and demoralizing for them. Somersaults were on display in a recent news story in the Arizona Daily Star. The story was about “Sonoran hot dog king” Daniel Contreras being in intensive care in a Tucson hospital. (“Family […]

The American Stasi Controls What You Hear And See To Control What You Think And Do

Estimated Reading Time: 3 minutes

Big Tech, federal agencies, and corporate media are working together to undermine the country and control your thoughts. It’s tempting to look at Big Tech, corporate media, and federal agencies as distinct industries and entities with their own goals and organizational structures, but that’s not the right way to analyze them in 2024. In reality, […]

The Myth of National Defense Spending

Estimated Reading Time: 7 minutes

Editors’ Note: Without discussing the wisdom of Ukraine’s military aid, the author is correct in taking on the persistent myth that defense spending is always good for the economy. Instead, it diverts resources that would have been spent by consumers and businesses and directs resources into things that are either blown up or that blow […]

Arizona U.S. Sen. Kyrsten Sinema Will Not Seek Re-election

The 2024 Election Will Be Neither Free Nor Fair

Estimated Reading Time: 6 minutes

Man is a creature that can get accustomed to anything,” said Dostoyevsky, and indeed, we’ve become so accustomed to the manipulation of our elections that it’s become almost the norm. But the Democrats have already far exceeded even their previous serious misdeeds. Conservative complaints about this tend to be dismissed as conspiracy-mongering or poor sportsmanship. But to pretend that the Democrats’ actions since November 2020 are just part of the rough-and-tumble of politics is to ignore a mountain of evidence staring us in the face.

While deceptively marketed as a heroic effort […]

Estimated Reading Time: 3 minutes

American and Arizona citizens have lost faith in our election system. Following elections in 2018, the very broken and Covid poisoned election of 2020 and the nationally embarrassing 2022 Arizona election (especially in Maricopa County where over 60% of AZ ballots are cast), We the People are justified in lacking faith in the system. World leaders are not cognizant enough to know that wind turbines and solar panels only generate occasional electricity […]
