TAKE ACTION CENTER

2024 is a critical election year for both Arizona and all American citizens. For Arizona, maintaining and increasing the Republican majorities in the state House and Senate is a primary objective. Blunting the radical policies of two more years of a leftist Governor, Secretary of State and Attorney General until 2026 is crucial for Arizona citizens. Many other offices are at risk with an electoral system that is broken.

National elections for Arizonans are critical. We know what four more years of a Harris/Obama/Biden administration and a failure to elect one Republican U.S. Senator will mean for Arizona and all of America. Six of nine U.S. Representatives from Arizona are Republican. Increasing or maintaining their number to keep the U.S. House a GOP majority has great implications for our state and nation’s future.

The Prickly Pear TAKE ACTION message in this election year is simple. We must use the electoral system as it exists and plan to reform it in the future as Legislative majorities are increased and key state offices are recaptured. The following summarizes the Do’s and Don’ts for Arizona voters in The Prickly Pear’s How NOT to Vote in the November 5, 2024 Election in Arizona: Part 1 and Part 2.

  • Be sure you are on the Active Early Voting List (AEVL) – DO NOT RELY ON CASTING YOUR BALLOT AT A POLLING STATION ON ELECTION DAY.
  • Vote early and soon after you receive you Mail-In Ballot – DO NOT WAIT TO VOTE.  Decide, fill out your ballot and mail at your post office. Never use a ‘drop box’ for ballot collection. Part 2 will explain how to follow and confirm that your Mail-In ballot has been received and your signature verified, indicating that your ballot/vote is cast and counted.
  • NEVER, NEVER, EVER BRING THE GREEN ENVELOPE CONTAINING YOUR MAIL-IN BALLOT TO ‘DROP OFF’ AT A POLLING STATION ON THE DAY OF ELECTION!!!! YOU WILL NOT HAVE VOTED ON ELECTION DAY!!!!
