Fried: My Testimony at the Eastman Disbarment Trial

About a year ago, I received a phone call from John Eastman, the prominent constitutional scholar. He was facing disbarment proceedings for the advice he had given President Trump, had read my book (Debunked), and wanted me to testify on his behalf at the forthcoming California disbarment trial. Of course, I was eager to testify because I believed (and still believe) that the six key swing state elections in 2020 were not certifiable. The specific reasons are laid out in the book. How did Democrats convince so many Jews that Trump is racist and antisemite in 2017? The Democrats have been calling Republicans racists and worse for decades, so mere propaganda could not have achieved that. What I found in searching for the answer might also explain how anti-Trump sentiment spread over society, rising to the level of Trump Derangement Syndrome. Start with the series of JCC threats. Beginning before Trump’s inauguration as 45th POTUS, hundreds of bomb threats were made against Jewish community centers and schools in the U.S.

The threats came in five waves: Jan. 9 (three days after the election’s certification), Jan. 18 (two days before the inauguration), Jan. 31 (following the travel ban, fueling Big Tech-led insurrection), Feb. 20, and Feb. 28. The media unanimously declared that these threats came from white supremacists in the U.S., allegedly emboldened by the election of President Trump. The FBI knew that most of the threats were made over the Internet, could have been made from anywhere in the world, and likely came from abroad, but refused to say that officially. In hindsight, this can be linked to the agenda of FBI Director James Comey and his number two, Andrew McCabe. The agenda was to undermine the president whose election they had attempted to prevent and to hide how easy the Obama-Biden administration made it for foreign threat actors to obtain classified info and impact events in the U.S.

On Monday, activist Lauren Windsor posted audio recordings of conversations with Justice Sam Alito, his wife and Chief Justice John Roberts, which she secretly taped while posing as a religious conservative at an event last week. Her “big get” is a chat where she baits Alito by saying that “people in this country who believe in God” need “to return our country to a place of Godliness,” and Alito (wait for it) politely agrees with her. Gasp! A religious man agreeing that Godliness is a worthy value? Cue the woke pearl-clutching. From the tape. . . .

On Tuesday, my colleague Jim Thompson dissected the latest media hit piece against Samuel Alito, which came courtesy of Rolling Stone magazine in a story that tried to (falsely) portray the conservative Supreme Court Justice as a far-right extremist whose goal is to turn the U.S into a theocracy. For those who missed it, the article centered around secret audio recordings from far-left activist/filmmaker Lauren Windsor, an ActBlue fundraiser who obtained them under false pretenses by misrepresenting herself as a Christian conservative during the Supreme Court Historical Society’s annual dinner, which was on June 3rd. Among other things, Alito agreed with Windsor’s (fake) statement that she hoped America would return to a “place of godliness.” […] The especially interesting thing, in my view, about the snippets that were released to the media is not so much what Justice Alito was recorded as saying but what his wife, Martha-Ann, was. Before we dive into that, let’s recall that Mrs. Alito’s flag-flying was the subject of multiple hit pieces from the New York Times.

Back in April, Joe Biden, following in Barack Obama’s footsteps, unilaterally changed Title IX, which protects women and girls from discrimination in education, by reinterpreting the law to treat “gender identity” the same as biological sex. This move allowed biological males to play women’s sports and gave them access to scholarships intended for women, as well as women’s locker rooms, private spaces, and single-sex housing. A federal judge in Texas, who called Biden’s effort an “unlawful action,” just shut that move down. […] District Judge Reed O’Connor ruled with Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, who sued the Biden administration after it first proposed the Title IX changes. In his ruling, O’Connor explained that the Biden administration “engaged in unlawful agency action taken in excess of their authority, all while failing to adhere to the appropriate notice and comments requirements when doing so.” […] O’Connor’s ruling noted that schools that receive Title IX funding would face an “Impossible choice” under Joe Biden’s proposed guidance. They must either revise policies to comply with federal guidance, which violates state law, or risk losing substantial funding. O’Connor pointed out that allowing the Biden administration’s guidance to stand would “functionally rewrite Title IX in a way that shockingly transforms American education and usurps a major question from Congress.”

As the specter of a Chinese invasion of Taiwan looms, the need to safeguard America’s interests has never been more pressing. The Chinese spy balloon incident of early 2023 painted a tangible picture of the growing problem of Chinese espionage, heightening concerns over the government’s intentions. Much of this recent success in the states can be attributed to a new group, State Armor, which launched last year under Michael Lucci’s leadership.

As the Wall Street Journal asked, “What took so long? The answer, we’re sorry to say, is U.S. opposition. Credit to the U.K., France and Germany for pushing the rebuke anyway, and winning President Biden’s reluctant support at the last minute, when he had no other way to stave off the embarrassment of defending Iran.” Embarrassment indeed, when three of Nato’s richest military skinflints show more spine than the U.S. did. Biden’s appeasement may be the reductio ad absurdum of nearly 50 years of Western nations “running scared of Tehran,” as Daniel Pipes put it, since the Islamic revolution. For all those decades, a nation viable only by dint of possessing the world’s third largest oil reserves–– and a ruthless totalitarian government so hated by its people that only murderous force and cruelty can keep its clerical leaders alive––is treated by the West as though it were a peer rival one must approach with cautious solicitude.

Netanyahu’s resolve in the face of so many challenges, from splits in his own war cabinet over the conduct of the war in Gaza to incessant pressure from Washington to agree to a ceasefire, has prompted comparisons with British wartime leader Sir Winston Churchill, with Andrew Roberts labelling the Israeli PM “The Winston Churchill of the Middle East.”
There is massive evidence that the Biden administration would like to see Netanyahu removed and that someone more “compliant” to the wishes of the US replace him – a new Israeli prime minister who would not object to Hamas continuing to rule the Gaza Strip after the fighting ends, and rebuild its military to be able to attack Israel again as it has vowed to do. The US would also doubtless like an Israeli prime minister would gladly accept a Palestinian state supervised by Qatar, which has a regrettable but endless track record of promoting and sponsoring terrorists. The Biden administration would apparently like an Israeli prime minister who would agree that a nuclear-armed Iran is exactly what the Middle East needs at this time, and, to that end, has been begging European officials not to object to Iran’s nuclear program.
If the Israelis are smart, they will keep Netanyahu. He has shown time and again that he can stand up to immense pressure from whoever is trying to insert a knife in Israel’s back – whether the Obama administration proposing an Iranian nuclear bomb in 2015, or Senator Chuck Schumer and President Joe Biden’s unsubtle efforts to try to get him ousted.
Unfortunately, the only way of seeing all the hostages released is by military pressure.

When socialist schemes fail, as they inevitably do, our attention is immediately drawn away from the destruction they cause to the “good intentions” behind the schemes. They meant well. Their good intentions override their disastrous results. One reason why good intentions are important to both sides of the political divide is that good intentions play well to voters. A good example of this is the national debt crisis in the United States. The economist Samuel Gregg points out that while both parties pledge to resolve the growing national debt, both parties regard the measures necessary to resolve the situation as electoral suicide: “America’s National Debt challenge constitutes a political iron cage for Democrat and Republican legislators alike. While they can talk a big game about courageously tackling the problem, the political consequences of actually doing so are deeply unattractive for both parties.” The politicians’ desire to present voters with some obviously well-intentioned schemes overrides their commitment to resolving the problem. They are well-aware that any subsequent failures will be overlooked or forgiven in light of their good intentions. […] In highlighting the inherently destructive nature of socialism, Mises’s point is not that socialists necessarily set out to destroy society but that this is the inevitable result of their schemes: “Socialism has not consciously willed the destruction of society. It believed it was creating a higher form of society. But since a socialist society is not a possibility every step towards it must harm society.” Faced with the destruction of society, it is futile to divert our intention to the supposedly good intentions behind the destruction.

The work is a shocking insight into the corruption of independent, investigative journalism. At one point the report observes “a concerning trend among journalists in some countries still seeking to ‘balance’ their climate change reporting”. The report shows clearly that the green billionaires are calling most of the shots in promoting stories of Net Zero-inspired climate collapse. It is noted that they may fund journalists “to cover stories in a particular subject area, determined by funder interests and goals”. Over the last 20 years the tax-efficient billionaire foundations have stepped into the funding gaps left by declining circulation and advertising sales across mainstream media. It is noted by the EJN that journalists “overwhelmingly agreed” that support from external funding organisations was “essential” to enabling their climate and environmental reporting. Any journalist can apply to be a member of the EJN and the “primary benefit” is said to be access to grant funding for stories and “training opportunities”. The operation claims over 25,000 members in 200 countries.

Hayley Good was not expected to live long. Born at just 24 weeks and weighing one pound and nine ounces at the OSU Wexner Medical Center, she was later moved to the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at Nationwide Children’s Hospital with little hope for survival. The medical staff painted a grim picture for Good’s parents. They learned that if she survived intubation and heart surgery, her life expectancy would be short and filled with medical crises. And in case you missed it, we had the Transgender Day of Visibility in March, and in April, the Day of Silence honored the contributions of the LGBTQ community.) LGBTQ month is not about tolerance; it is about the agenda, which is a leading reason for the culture wars that all of us, especially parents, face practically on a daily basis. Just a year ago, the Human Rights Campaign, the country’s “largest and most influential activist organization representing the interests of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer community,” hysterically issued a state of emergency for LGBTQIA+ people in the U.S. HRC claimed more than 525 anti-LGBTQIA+ bills had been introduced in state legislatures. Men not being allowed in women’s bathrooms and 10-year-olds not being allowed to pick their own gender qualify as an “emergency” to HRC, you see.

A sexually transmitted ringworm caused by a rare fungus has been reported for the first time in the United States. The case report, published Wednesday in JAMA Dermatology by doctors at NYU Langone Health in New York City, comes as clinicians worldwide increasingly say they’re having trouble treating fungal infections. “We think a lot about antibacterial resistance, but this is a very important time for us to think about anti-fungus resistance,” said Mahmoud Ghannoum, a professor of dermatology at the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland. He was not involved with the new report. The new case involves a New York City man in his 30s who reported having sex with multiple men during a trip to England, Greece and California. When he got home, he developed a red, itchy rash on his legs and across his groin and buttocks.

Since Dr Al-Rajabi became a cancer specialist, the percentage of patients under 55 with colorectal cancer has nearly doubled. One of his patients was just 14 years old. Approximately 70 percent of these young people are so unwell — having gone undiagnosed for far too long — there is now little doctors can do to help. Dr Al-Rajabi is an associate professor of medical oncology at the University of Kansas Medical Center and leads the colorectal cancer treatment, and cases he tends to at the hospital are, he told DailyMail.com, ‘heartbreaking.’ […] Scientists haven’t come to a consensus about why this trend is increasing.

Some theorize it’s because of food – blaming a modern diet that’s high in sugar and low in fiber. Others theorize environmental factors, like pesticide use or microplastics, are contributing. […] However, he cautioned, research has yet to prove this. Whatever the cause of this increase is, the key to fighting back against it, Dr Al-Rajabi said, is becoming your own advocate.
