What A Fool Believes

Estimated Reading Time: 3 minutes

“What a fool believes, no wise man has the power to reason away.”
Doobie Brothers, 1978

Liberalism/Progressivism (or whatever they are calling Marxism these days) is a mental illness, characterized by delusions impervious to facts and reason.  The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders-5th Edition (DSM-5) defines “delusions” as “…fixed beliefs that are not amenable to change in light of conflicting evidence.”As the puppet leader of the liberals said “We prefer Truth over Facts.” Not “the” truth, mind you, but “their” truth.

Please don’t waste your time trying to get a liberal to change his/her/their/xis/xer mind with reason and facts. Facts don’t matter.

Here are the things the liberal fools believe, despite all evidence to the contrary:

– The United States of America was established for the purpose of establishing slavery, and “America was built by slaves.”

– Bill Clinton was a champion of women who was framed by Paula Jones (who was “trailer trash”) and Monica Lewinsky, a “narcissistic loony tunes” who was manipulated by sex pervert Kenneth Starr.

– Trayvon Martin was an innocent black teenager who was “hunted down like a dog” and murdered by the white (Hispanic) racist George Zimmerman, for buying Skittles and “iced tea” (not Watermelon Fruit Cocktail).

– Michael Brown, a “gentle giant,” put his hands up and said “Don’t shoot” before he was murdered by a racist police officer in Ferguson, Missouri.

– Jacob Blake was just “checking on the welfare of his children” when he was shot in the back by a racist police officer.

– George Floyd was a proud, brave Black man who was just minding his own business when four racist police officers (including one who was Black), murdered him for no reason.

– George Floyd died from injuries to his neck, not from drug overdose and heart disease as reported by the Medical Examiner.

– Kyle Rittenhouse was a racist vigilante sniper who shot three black men with his illegally owned assault rifle, which he had transported across state lines.

– The 2016 presidential election was stolen.

– The 2020 presidential election was not stolen.

– Brett Kavanaugh is a rapist, as proven conclusively by the testimony of a woman who could not remember where the rape took place, nor where, and whose corroborating witnesses said they didn’t know what she was talking about.

– Donald Trump is a racist, who said that white supremacists were “good people.”

– Donald Trump repeatedly refused to denounce white supremacists.

– Masks prevent the transmission and contraction of viruses.

– Shutting down schools prevents the transmission to and contraction of viruses by school children.

– Ivermectin is medicine for animals, and should not be used by humans, as it is likely to be fatal.

– People who called COVID-19 “Wuhan Flu” or “Chinese Flu” after March 2020 are xenophobes, responsible for assaults on Asian people, but those who used those terms before March 2020 were not.

– The riots that destroyed billions of dollars worth of property, and killed a couple dozen people (including black children) were “fiery but mostly peaceful.”

– The (police-assisted) trespass on January 6 was an insurrection, worse than the destruction of the World Trade Center towers, and worse than the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor.

– The Second Amendment to the Constitution was intended to protect the right of National Guard soldiers to go hunting, not for individuals to defend themselves against tyrannical government or criminal assault.

– Israel is an apartheid country that practices genocide against Palestinians.

– Rape, beheading, and killing and kidnapping babies can be either good or bad depending on the context. If the context is that Jewish women are raped, or Jewish babies are burned or dismembered, then it’s OK.

On second thought, go ahead and give them a dose of facts and reason now and then.  It makes them sputter and turn red and call you a racist radical MAGA extremist, which is quite entertaining.

TAKE ACTION

The Prickly Pear’s TAKE ACTION focus this year is to help achieve a winning 2024 national and state November 5th election with the removal of the Biden/Obama leftist executive branch disaster, win one U.S. Senate seat, maintain and win strong majorities in all Arizona state offices on the ballot and to insure that unrestricted abortion is not constitutionally embedded in our laws and culture.

Please click the TAKE ACTION link to learn to do’s and don’ts for voting in 2024. Our state and national elections are at great risk from the very aggressive and radical leftist Democrat operatives with documented rigging, mail-in voter fraud and illegals voting across the country (yes, with illegals voting across the country) in the last several election cycles.

Read Part 1 and Part 2 of The Prickly Pear essays entitled How NOT to Vote in the November 5, 2024 Election in Arizona to be well informed of the above issues and to vote in a way to ensure the most likely chance your vote will be counted and counted as you intend.
