Lincoln, Charlie Kirk, and Democrat-Driven Political Assassination

Estimated Reading Time: 2 minutes

On April 14, 1865, Confederate/Democrat sympathizer John Wilkes Booth assassinated Abraham Lincoln, the first and greatest Republican president. On September 10, 2025, leftist radical Tyler Robinson assassinated Charlie Kirk, the wildly successful conservative youth activist whom many believed would be president. The political ideology that took Lincoln’s life and the political ideology that took Kirk’s are directly connected, and both are thoroughly Democrat.

Booth was heard to swear after a speech Lincoln delivered supporting black Americans’ civil rights that it was the last speech the president would ever make, according to the Indiana State Museum. When he shot Lincoln on Good Friday 1865, Booth screamed “sic semper tyrannis (thus always to tyrants).” Many Confederates celebrated Lincoln’s assassination, according to The Homestead Museum.

Lincoln had said “with malice toward none, with charity for all,” but the Confederates were much less willing to be forgiven than he was to forgive. Having abolished slavery and opened the door to civil rights as the greatest Founders intended them to be — for all Americans — Lincoln wished for peace. But the Democrats who started a bloody Civil War and committed numerous war crimes for the sake of slavery and to protest a Republican’s election were no more willing to make true peace than they ever had been.

Now fast forward to 2025. Democrat politicians had been using the most extreme rhetoric against Republicans, labeling them Nazis and fascists, and threats to democracy and racists. They called Donald Trump worse than Hitler, Charlie Kirk a white supremacist, and anyone who opposed genital mutilation a genocider of LGBTQ people. Is it any surprise that Tyler Robinson, a leftist fanatic, then, in a romantic relationship with a “transgender”, carved “anti-fascist” slogans on bullet casings and murdered Charlie Kirk just for telling truths Robinson didn’t want to hear? Or that Democrat politicians voted against honoring Kirk while countless leftists celebrated the tragedy with wild glee?

Now, as in the 19th century, Democrats use political violence as a tool. They cause crises, incite chaos, kill and assault their opponents, and then claim that they are innocent and noble victims of tyranny. The Civil War never ended, and it is still claiming martyrs for freedom.
