In the Senate, it has over 60 co-sponsors, including such GOP heavyweights as Tennessee Sen. Marsha Blackburn, Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, and Texas Sen. Ted Cruz. “The Kids Online Safety Act is a serious and meaningful step toward empowering parents and protecting our kids from toxic content, bullying, sexual predators, and other online threats,” Cruz said in why he supports the bill. The bill is also supported by several Democrats, including President Biden. While well-intentioned, the act is another example of how bipartisanship in the Swamp often leads to terrible results for Middle Americans. Examining the bill reveals its harmful elements. In the section requiring “Prevention Of Harm To Minors,” it states: […] If the bill passes, it would allow liberal attorneys general all over the country to persecute whoever they want. Imagine what New York AG Letitia James would do with such power. She’s already weaponized extant laws against Donald Trump, the NRA, and other conservative groups on political grounds. One of the most revealing quotes on the agenda comes from Clinton Administration Deputy Secretary of State Strobe Talbot, who stated in Time magazine that: “In the next century, nations as we know it will be obsolete; all states will recognize a single, global authority […] National sovereignty wasn’t such a great idea after all.” He adds in the same article a lesser known quote: […] The head of the CBO is a Republican but he’s also a former member of the IMF, so it’s not surprising he would paint mass immigration as a positive. The globalists want to end national sovereignty and the fastest way to do that is to create open border conditions, kill domestic economies, erase western culture and then swoop in with a “global solution” after the dust settles. This is the plan; to destabilize the US economic system, not save it. And, illegal immigrants are a useful tool for that end game.

House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., is preparing to bring a bill that would reauthorize section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) for 2 years instead of 5 years to the House floor on Friday as well as allow a vote on legislation related to Fourth Amendment right to privacy. The House Rules Committee on Thursday night voted 8-4 to adopt the rule for legislation that would renew section 702 and advance a group of proposed amendments including a warrant requirement. If the rule passes on the floor, the House would begin voting on the proposed amendments. A rule providing for consideration of the FISA renewal bill with reforms was previously blocked on the House floor by 19 Republicans.

Mittlestadt: Green Bay broke same-day voter registration rules, allowed illegal votes, election group alleges

he Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF) filed a complaint on Monday against the Green Bay city clerk to the Wisconsin Elections Commission for not following state law to verify same-day voter registrations. Same-day voter registration, which is when people can register to vote and cast a ballot at the same time, is a practice that both PILF and the Honest Elections Project warn may let illegal votes be counted before a voter’s registration can be verified. PILF reported the Green Bay city clerk to the Wisconsin Elections Commission for failing to follow state law on same-day voter registration, an election practice that election integrity advocates warn can allow illegal votes to be counted. PILF President J. Christian Adams said on the “Just the News, No Noise” TV show on Wednesday that “the problem with same-day registration of course is you don’t know, in fact, if they’re eligible to vote. Well, that’s what Wisconsin law does, is they require a verification mailing, and if the mailing bounces, the DA is supposed to investigate and possibly prosecute.”

We will stand up and defend our rightful authority within the framework of American federalism.” The letter was referring to a speech Garland gave at the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Selma on March 3. At the church, Garland said the DOJ was “challenging efforts by states and jurisdictions to implement discriminatory, burdensome, and unnecessary restrictions on access to the ballot, including those related to mail-in-voting, the use of drop boxes, and voter ID requirements.”

In my opinion, the healthcare system in this country is currently on life support. The level of trust is lower than it’s been in at least 50 years and deservedly so. The healthcare industry can be divided into four interrelated disciplines: 1) Hands-on care providers; 2) Researchers; 3) Public health professionals; and 4) Designers and administrators of health systems infrastructure.

She’s not the first to be recorded; she had to have known that tearing down these posters came with this risk. Second, she sides with the terrorists. NPR then tried to make this into a free-speech debate. It’s not. She has every right to say “f**k Israel” and support Hamas propaganda points. Her employer has every right to fire her for these antics. She’s not in jail because she has the freedom to be a terrible human being. She’s just a jobless bum now, which any supporter of Hamas should be subjected to. Rural hospitals, once beacons of care in the heartlands, find themselves in dire straits. Patient numbers are dwindling, the uninsured population is swelling, and attracting skilled healthcare professionals is akin to finding a needle in a haystack. Now, some are heralding Medicaid Expansion as the remedy to their financial woes. But, after delving into the data, it’s clear that expansion is nothing but a billion-dollar boondoggle with no long-term salvation in sight. States that have embraced Medicaid Expansion under the Affordable Care Act are witnessing a grim reality: one in four of their hospitals are on the brink of closure. Nearly fifty rural hospitals in these states have shuttered since the inception of expansion. What’s more, a 2020 Guidehouse study revealed that three out of the top five states with the highest percentage of essential community hospitals in danger are those expanding Medicaid. Shockingly, 76% of rural patients in these areas choose to seek care far from their communities in the hope of better care. […] The notion that expanding Medicaid will rescue Alabama hospitals is pure folly. It will only balloon state spending and reliance on federal aid. Taxpayers foot the bill regardless of the funding source, but it’s state budgets that will bear the brunt.

Next month, George Mason University’s Board of Visitors, whose governor-appointed members oversee the school’s policies, will again consider a new and controversial graduation requirement—so-called “just society flags.” The proposal means professors could obtain a flag for their class if it includes diversity content in a lecture, an assignment or an exam; each student would then need to take two such “flagged” classes to graduate. The Board delayed action on the matter in February. The American Legislative Exchange Council’s (ALEC) annual Rich States, Poor States: ALEC-Laffer State Economic Competitiveness Index, released this week, found New York ranked dead last for economic outlook for the 11th year in a row. The report, co-authored by Reagan economist Dr. Arthur B. Laffer, economic policy expert and FOX Business contributor Stephen Moore, and ALEC chief economist Jonathan Williams, assessed all 50 states on economic competitiveness. […] New York has the highest top personal and corporate income tax rates in the country and the second-highest debt service to tax revenue ratio. Those factors, combined with its regulatory environment, its status as a right-to-work state, its inheritance tax and high workers’ compensation costs, all helped push it to the bottom.

Tucker Carlson, a man who I admire and deeply respect for his fearless reporting on the biggest issues of our day, had a guest on his program earlier this week with whom I share radically different perspectives. This man is named Munther Isaac. He’s a Lutheran pastor in Bethlehem, an area governed by the Palestinian Authority. I am an unapologetically patriotic American Jew from New Jersey. I believe that Israel is a nation that brings a lot more good to the world than bad, and I strongly consider it to be by far the most righteous country in the Middle East. I was fiercely critical of Israel’s policies during the Covid era, and I strongly believe that no nation should be free from robust criticism. Now, pastor Isaac does not believe that Israel has the right to exist whatsoever, as he considers the entirety of both Israeli and Palestinian lands as “occupied” Palestinian territory. Had Tucker Carlson or his guest revealed that much, the conversation would be much more honest and insightful. […] After watching the interview, I dug up more information on Mr Isaac. I found a sermon he delivered one day after the horrific October 7 massacre, in which he applauded the barbaric Hamas attack and excused it as a form of “resistance.” He described the innocent young men and women who were slaughtered at the music festival as a bunch of “wealthy people” who basically had it coming for them, declaring that he was “shocked by the strength of the Palestinian man who defied his siege.”
