As ranked-choice voting gains momentum across the U.S., the campaign supporting the system is funded by a few liberal dark money groups run by mega-donors who seek to replace the influence of political parties with their own, according to Honest Election Project Action, (HEPA) an election integrity advocate. Liberal dark money groups are funding RCV campaigns across the country through local organizations, resulting in the push for an election system that would dilute the power of political parties and allow mega-donors to fill in. Jason Snead, executive director of the HEPA, previously told Just the News that “RCV is elite-choice voting,” adding that the “same cohorts of big money donors on the left are pushing this, weakening the party apparatus,” so that they will be “in position to step in and fill the gap.” He believes that “liberal mega-donors are buying a new election system” that will “cater to their interests” and help push politics further left.

When public hospitals purchase medical equipment or rely on outside doctors, they typically consider the price and quality of each vendor. In Tarrant County, Texas, they consider something else, too: the race and gender of the vendor’s owners. Tarrant County’s public hospital system, JPS Health, evaluates bids for contracts on a 100-point scale that gives more weight to “diversity and inclusion” (15 points) than to the reputation of a vendor’s goods and services (10 points) when assessing providers of transcatheter heart valves—devices used to counteract cardiac failure and keep blood flowing throughout the body. It uses similar weights to select outside providers of cancer screenings. Price and quality receive 20 points each, according to a procurement request reviewed by the Washington Free Beacon, while diversity receives 15, enough to make up for major deficits in other areas.

Brown: New Study Sheds Light on What Everyone Has Known Since Time Began

. . . a recently released study from the Netherlands shows that for most children, gender confusion is a stage and something that they will likely grow out of over time. According to a story in the Daily Mail, researchers at the University of Groningen spent 15 years conducting the “Tracking of Adolescents Individual Lives Survey.” Interviewers asked 2,770 people at various times to respond to the statement, “I wish to be of the opposite sex.” Participants answered that question six different times during the study, which started in March of 2001. When the study began, one in ten children said they were not content with their gender. By the time participants reached the age of 25, only one in 25 participants said that they were often or sometimes unhappy with their gender.

A screenshot of searches on these platforms from an attorney for Shaw shows that, for an undefined period, searches including Shaw’s name or position were blocked by a notification warning about child sexual abuse. Richter: Family of Portland girl, 9, file $9m lawsuit against school ‘where she was gang-raped in bathroom by two boys, with attackers suspended for just one day’

According to the lawsuit, in April 2022, two male students in the program, Schools Uniting Neighborhoods, at Scott Elementary School in Northeast Portland, told the girl they would ‘find out where she lives’ if she didn’t tell the staff she needed to use the bathroom. She complied and went to the bathroom, as the other students followed her, locked her in a stall, took off her pants and each ‘forcibly penetrated’ her, the lawsuit, reviewed by Oregon Live, stated. As she tried to ward them off, the boys made it impossible for her to escape as they took turns blocking the doors, documents said. The father of one of the boys reported the incident and his son and the other boy were suspended for just one day, the lawsuit said. Prior to their suspension, instead of getting the police involved in the alleged sexual assault, ‘PPS staff undertook their own internal investigation,’ the lawsuit said. Staff also interviewed the girl without telling her parents, family or any legal representatives, according to the suit.

Columbia University administrators on Tuesday informed members of anti-Israel student group Columbia University Apartheid Divest that their upcoming “All Out for Al-Shifa” rally was unsanctioned, promising to discipline those who attended. Two days later, the group went forward with the protest anyway, testing the will of the university to follow through on its threats as the school’s president prepares for a congressional hearing on her response to campus anti-Semitism. The group’s members—many of whom wore masks, hoods, and keffiyehs to mask their identities—flooded the Columbia sundial, a campus landmark, around 4:30 p.m. Thursday, video of the rally obtained by the Washington Free Beacon shows. […] Just hours earlier, Columbia University Apartheid Divest sent a newsletter to its members informing them that administrators deemed the rally “unauthorized,” meaning attendees risked facing “disciplinary action.” The group nonetheless pledged to hold the event and “take back the university.” It also advised its members to avoid detection by wearing all black, using masks and keffiyehs to conceal their identities, and arriving on campus early to “avoid swiping” their ID badges, the school’s “primary method of positive identification.”

Boeing is—or was—a great company. From its manufacturing plants in Seattle, it produced the world’s most reliable, efficient aircraft. But after merging with McDonnell Douglas, shifting production around the world, and moving its headquarters to Chicago and then Arlington, Virginia, the Boeing Company has been adrift. Nelson Peltz, along with another member of the Trian Group, were denied seats on the 12-person board of nominees, according to ABC News. Peltz has been previously critical of incorporating politics into business, slamming Disney’s insistence on pushing “woke” messaging in movies such as having female and black-dominated casts in “The Marvels” and “Black Panther,” respectively. “With the stock waning and Disney facing another proxy contest, Disney appears to again be trying to distract shareholders with what we see as a fanciful tale, claiming it has ‘turned the corner and entered a new era,” Trian Partners said in a statement in February about the vote. “And with that, Disney announced a slew of new promises and ideas — most still in the process of being developed — hoping that shareholders would just believe all was well and improving.”

The Israeli army has made significant progress in the war in Gaza, destroying 20 of Hamas’s original 24 battalions. It plans to soon destroy Hamas’s remaining battalions in the southern Gaza city of Rafah. However, there is strong pressure from the West to end the war because Western leaders and audiences have succumbed to constant scenes of destroyed cities in Gaza, women and children digging themselves out of rubble, and reports of famine. Hamas and their supporters in the West have expertly manipulated press coverage of the war to blame this humanitarian catastrophe on Israel. Few mainstream media reports mention that Hamas started and is sustaining this conflict. The media will also not report that the reason Gazans are hungry is because heavily armed Hamas terrorists are stealing the aid sent into the enclave. Growing demonstrations in Israel to end the war so hostages can be freed were part of Hamas’s original plan. Hamas knew Israelis value the lives of their citizens and that many would press to end the war early to secure the release of Israeli hostages, even if this meant not destroying Hamas or holding it accountable for the October 7 terrorist attacks. […] Despite President Biden’s feckless badgering of Netanyahu, criticism from other Democratic politicians, and increased opposition to the Netanyahu government in Israel, the status quo at the six-month mark of the war probably will not change. Netanyahu will agree to short-term cease-fires to free hostages. But the Israeli leader will order an attack on Rafah when he has decided he has given U.S. officials enough opportunities to express their opinions of this operation. Netanyahu is not going to be bullied by the United States for how he defends his country.

Since its introduction in Canada, MAiD has rapidly escaped the limits of compassionate grounds. It is now offered to those made miserable by the same society which offers them death as a remedy. With countries such as France moving toward legalizing MAiD, the shocking expansion of the medicine of death in Canada serves as a warning. This documentary, produced in January 2023, shows how poor Canadians are now only a phone call away from government assisted dying – which can be arranged “in as little as two weeks.” As Frawley points out, “In Canada, where MAiD (medical assistance in dying) has been legalized since 2016, something that was once a stringent law intended only for the terminally ill has been gradually expanded.” It is now a means of “euthanising the poor.” Frawley continues: “People are requesting MAiD not because they want to die but because they can no longer afford to live.”
