My legal opinion about what’s going on is it has nothing to do with the law at all. Understand that what we’re seeing now are attempts to frame Donald Trump and people affiliated with him to abuse and misuse the legal system to gain a political advantage. This is nothing new. It is something scumbags have been doing for thousands of years. Remember, Caesar crossed the Rubicon with his legion because if he had left his troops behind, they were going to prosecute him into oblivion. Lawfare is nothing new – its modern practitioners just better hope they don’t end up provoking warfare, too. But legal concepts do come up, and there is a lot of confusion out there about how the legal system works. Petti: FBI Agent Says He Hassles People ‘Every Day, All Day Long’ Over Facebook Posts

The FBI spends “every day, all day long” interrogating people over their Facebook posts. At least, that’s what agents told Stillwater, Oklahoma, resident Rolla Abdeljawad when they showed up at her house to ask her about her social media activity. Three FBI agents came to Abdeljawad’s house and said that they had been given “screenshots” of her posts by Facebook. Her lawyer Hassan Shibly posted a video of the incident online on Wednesday. Abdeljawad told agents that she didn’t want to talk and asked them to show their badges on camera, which the agents refused to do. She wrote on Facebook that she later confirmed with local police that the FBI agents really were FBI agents.

Typical story: In a new documentary directed by Martin Durkin, “Climate The Movie: The Cold Truth,” Svensmark and Shaviv talk about what happened after the paper was published. “So many instances of people doing really nasty things,” Svensmark said. “When I applied for a job, a group of scientists writes to the university saying they shouldn’t hire me. And that’s a typical story, unfortunately.” Shaviv said he was treated as if he had leprosy.

Grondahl and his brother, Marc, started a franchise in 1992 which, in 2002, they renamed “Planet Fitness.” The company’s goal was to create non-intimidating fitness clubs for people who wanted to start exercising or who exercised only intermittently. It was a very user-friendly place, and the business model worked. By 2023, Planet Fitness had almost 2,400 locations worldwide and was bringing in more than $900 million annually in revenue. In 2012, a Marin County-based private equity company, TSG Consumer Partners, invested in Planet Fitness. According to Grondahl, at the same time TSG invested in Planet Fitness, he learned that Richard Moore, Planet Fitness’s General Counsel and Chief Administrative Officer, was a self-admitted homosexual pedophile. Sacca: New Jersey youth wrestling coach – NCAA’s first openly gay wrestler – sentenced to prison for distributing child porn

Alec Donovan, of Brick, New Jersey, was sentenced on Thursday to serve 87 months in federal prison after being found guilty of distributing child porn. In addition to the prison sentence, U.S. District Judge Zahid N. Quraishi also sentenced Donovan to 30 years of supervised release.

Cartoon Network made sure to post in celebration of the Transgender Day of Visibility on Sunday, but made no mention of the fact that Easter Sunday also fell on March 31st this year — this despite the fact that 1.6 million Americans over 13 identify as transgender, and over 200 million identify as Christian and presumably celebrate Easter. Lucas: This State Lawmaker Sues to Take Down Biden’s Election-Meddling Executive Order

A federal lawsuit in one of this year’s biggest battleground states challenges President Joe Biden’s executive order aimed at driving up the vote, in what one government watchdog calls “arguably the most important election integrity lawsuit in the country.” State Rep. Dawn Keefer, a Republican who chairs the conservative Pennsylvania Freedom Caucus, is the lead plaintiff in the lawsuit. Keefer and other state legislators assert that Biden’s executive order, as well as separate actions by the administration of Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, a Democrat, usurped the lawmakers’ authority. Lawyers for the Biden and Shapiro administrations have moved for dismissal of the case, known as Keefer, et al., v. Biden, et al., arguing that the lawmakers lack standing and that executive actions on elections at the state level already were authorized by the Pennsylvania Legislature. “State legislators have rights granted to them in the Constitution, so we do have standing in federal court. The irreparable harm is that they are changing the way elections are being facilitated,” Keefer told The Daily Signal. “Now, we may have authorized them to take action. We never authorized them to break the law.”

Demonstrators demanding a cease-fire in Gaza interrupted an Easter Vigil Mass at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City before being removed from the service. Three protesters were arrested after disrupting the Easter services on Saturday evening, according to multiple reports.

Video of the incident shows six protesters at the front of the church, holding up a banner reading, “Silence = Death,” before being quickly escorted out by security.

The laws need to be changed,” another mourner said. Law enforcement and everyday New Yorkers turned out to support the 31-year-old officer’s heartbroken family, filing past back-the-blue memorial flowers and images of Diller’s wife, Stephanie, and their 1-year-old son, Ryan. […] On the flip side, New York Governor Kathy Hochul, despite her anti-cop policies, had the audacity to reach out to the police union expressing her desire to attend the wake. Hochul is a typical establishment politician, who talks out of both sides of her mouth. When it was popular, she cozied up to the “Defund The Police” radicals, when it stopped being popular, she quickly shifted gears and tried to act as if she was some amazing “pro-cop” warrior. On March 26, Argentinian President Javier Milei unveiled a plan to reduce 70,000 jobs from the state sector and halt more than 200,000 social welfare plans as part of reforms meant to stabilize the country’s faltering economy. Milei revealed the proposed measures during an hour-long speech at the IEFA Latam Forum in Buenos Aires. In his detailed speech, the president laid out the foundations of his economic plan, underscoring the alignment of peso futures contracts with the central bank’s two-percent monthly crawling peg scheme, and labeling calls to sharply devalue the currency again as “ridiculous.” “There’s a lot of blender,” Milei stated, referring to the dwindling of wages and pensions by 276-percent annual inflation. “There’s a lot more chainsaw,” he warned.

The ideology of conquest in the name of jihad is what drove Ottoman Turks to invade and conquer lands stretching across Asia, Europe and Africa for more than 600 years.
According to Islamists, Muslim military expansion is an act of Allah’s favor because Allah bestows those places upon Muslim conquerors.
The Turkish government’s stance on the genocide is a bizarre combination of denial and conceit. First, they say that their ancestors did not commit genocide and that it was merely a war of self-defense. Then, they proclaim “they [Christians] deserved it” and “if need be, we could do it again”.
The US government seems to ignore that Turkey – acting as if it is the successor to the Ottoman Empire – does not stop threatening Greece, Cyprus and Armenia with military invasion.
The US Congress would be well advised to reconsider its decision regarding F-16 sales to Turkey and this alliance altogether.
