In 2000, Thomas apparently groused about his pay to “vocal conservative” Rep. Cliff Stearns. (The justice was hardly alone. It was a big issue in the 2000s.) This interaction, we are informed, “set off a flurry of activity across the judiciary and Capitol Hill.” By “flurry of activity,” ProPublica means a single memo in which the possibility of raising justices’ salaries was discussed. Like all SCOTUS smears, the piece is loaded with performative journalistic jargon — “newly unearthed documents,” for instance — meant to make it look like ProPublica is engaging in acts of reporting rather than activism. […] His enemies have yet to offer any instance where this justice has deviated from his long-held legal philosophy of adherence to the Constitution as written. And that’s the real problem.

CNN‘s headline — “Senate aide out of job after purported sex tape apparently filmed in Senate hearing room” — went out of its way to remove all agency from the aide and makes him appear like the victim. NBC News sought to signal to its readers what to think about the scandal by noting it was “alleged by conservative media.” Just about every headline from the corporate press omitted that Czeropski is a Democrat staffer, let alone one who appeared in a campaign ad for President Joe Biden.

Few in academia, or in mainstream society for that matter, took the Ebonics movement very seriously. Everyone knew that if any Black person wanted—at minimum—a job as a hotel receptionist, a customer service agent in a call center, or a clerk in a retail store, he or she would need to speak standard English. The latter was the lingua franca of business and commerce, and that was not about to change. If Blacks aspired to achieve economic parity with their compatriots, then they would have to become bilingual. Lately, the Back to Ebonics movement has morphed into a devoutly nasty and pernicious new form. It has transmogrified into a hegemonic call to replace standard English as the norm. It regards requiring Black students to use standard English as anti-Black linguistic racism. Blacks required to speak standard English are believed to experience violence, persecution, dehumanization, and marginalization. The leader of this movement, a Black professor at the University of Michigan by the name of April Baker-Bell, has sponsored a document to abolish what she calls “White Mainstream English.” She believes that Black students who are forced to write their papers in mainstream English are victims of Anti-Black Racism.

Kendall was charged with rape, involuntary deviant sexual intercourse, unlawful contact with minors, corruption of minors, unlawful contact with minors, indecent assault against people less than 13 years of age, obscenity to minors, and endangering the welfare of children. Sadly, this type of story no longer surprises anyone; it’s becoming quite commonplace. What’s truly shocking is the apparent lack of interest from the left in stopping it. In fact, they’re encouraging it. Notice how this local news story refers to this man accused of boy rape as “she” and “her.”

This creates a fertile field for radicalization. Under the aegis of promoting jihad, Hamas indoctrinates these youth into extremist ideologies, which makes them even more dedicated to killing Israelis.
