Some claims immediately stand out as ridiculous to even the casual observer, like the claim that the oceans are boiling, which is so stupid only someone who has blind trust in favored authorities bordering on pathological would believe it. Other claims have the appearance of plausibility, at least at first glance, because the logic is relatively straightforward. Even then, existing data often contradicts the climate attribution. […] The blame for this health effect falls squarely on the media’s alarmist reporting. The mainstream media has increasingly used words like “catastrophe” and “uninhabitable” to describe the condition of the planet. This is despite the fact that data show weather is not getting worse. Creating climate anxiety is explicitly the goal of media climate reporting. Bombarding their audiences with scare stories, facts to the contrary be damned, is aimed at motivating people into “taking action” and supporting severe restrictions on fossil-fuel use.

Nearly a quarter of a century ago, we were assured by the British Independent that “Snowfalls are now just a thing of the past.” (Don’t bother to try to find the story in the Independent’s archives – that page doesn’t exist or has been moved, presumably because it’s an embarrassment to the newspaper.) In that article, reporter Charles Onians appealed to the correct authorities, citing David Viner, then a senior scientist at the climatic research unit of the University of East Anglia, who declared that “within a few years winter snowfall will become ‘a very rare and exciting event.’” He told Onians that “children just aren’t going to know what snow is.”

The new phrasings, cliches and speech patterns replace those foundational Western concepts with Marxist/feudalist and oligarchical concepts. Language, of course, always changes. That is why we distinguish “living” from “dead languages.” “Dead languages” have stopped changing because they are not in use by living societies. However, the new language usages that concern me are not from language changing organically, the way it used to — that is to say, via changes in sensibility and usage; via new inventions arising and requiring terminologies, or old habits, traditions and objects passing out of memory. In other words, the changes being imposed on our language and language practices are not arising for the same reasons that we no longer talk about “voyageurs” rather than salesmen, or why we no longer discuss wielding a “bare bodkin”. Rather, the same monsters who have taken the rest of human civilization into their grip for the last two years, to establish their neo-Marxist/feudalist globalist oligarchy, are deliberately driving artificial changes in language and language practices. […] But if Democrats in Washington have expressed hesitancy over Biden’s support for Israel, their reservations are tame compared with the militancy of their more radical and younger peers. The activist Left has been stridently, even violently, pro-Hamas. […] So what gives on the Left? This question now haunts at least some American Jews, who have been among the Democratic Party’s most loyal constituencies. […] The Left’s response to the Israel-Hamas conflict has made clear that the Left has a serious antisemitism problem. Sabes: Family of 14-year-old girl sues American Airlines after flight attendant allegedly put camera in bathroom
The parents of the teenager, who are remaining anonymous, filed the lawsuit against American Airlines on Friday after a flight attendant allegedly taped a cellphone on the first-class bathroom toilet seat before their daughter went to use the restroom during a Sept. 2 flight from Charlotte, North Carolina to Boston Logan International Airport in Massachusetts. According to the lawsuit filed in a North Carolina federal court, the girl was waiting to use an economy-class restroom when a male flight attendant approached her and said she could use the first-class bathroom, saying “it would be faster.” When the teen approached the bathroom, the flight attendant went inside first, stating that he needed to wash his hands before the crew began to pick up trash. After one minute, the flight attendant said, “The toilet seat in there is broken. But don’t worry about it. We’re going to get it fixed when we get back to Charlotte,” according to the lawsuit. When the girl finished using the restroom, she noticed that there was a cellphone with its camera flash turned on that was located under red tape that read “SEAT BROKEN.” The male flight attendant was outside the restroom when she left, the lawsuit states, adding that he immediately went back into the restroom and closed the door.

Israel has assembled a system of large pumps it could use to flood Hamas’s vast network of tunnels under the Gaza Strip with seawater, a tactic that could destroy the tunnels and drive the fighters from their underground refuge but also threaten Gaza’s water supply, U.S. officials said. The Israel Defense Forces finished assembling large seawater pumps roughly one mile north of the Al-Shati refugee camp around the middle of last month. Each of at least five pumps can draw water from the Mediterranean Sea and move thousands of cubic meters of water per hour into the tunnels, flooding them within weeks.
Israel first informed the U.S. of the option early last month, prompting a discussion weighing its feasibility and effect on the environment against the military value of disabling the tunnels, officials said.

Around the world, politicians and others express dismay at the alleged number of innocent civilians who have been killed by Israeli bombardments, even while admitting that Hamas’s casualty numbers include its own terrorists, people killed by terrorists’ awol missiles, and so on. But my complaint is more fundamental. Watching videos of Israeli captives being paraded through Gaza, and seeing “civilians” spitting on them, hitting them, joyously celebrating their capture, I have asked: where are these innocent civilians we keep hearing about? In the Times of Israel, Avigdor Liberman makes the point in a column titled “Innocents in Gaza? Don’t be naive.” […] scenes within Gaza paint a sickening picture: […] The idea that Hamas is the source of Gaza’s sickness, and that Hamas can be excised leaving a normal society, is false. Hamas is a symptom, not a cause. The root cause of Gazans’ horrific actions is their culture, which promotes Jew-hatred above all other virtues. Unfortunately, the people of Gaza are suffused with that sick culture and, seemingly with very few exceptions, have bought into it. Calling them “civilians” doesn’t change that reality.

Not long ago Steve called me and said that had some real unaltered vaccination records and wanted me to see what they revealed about vaccine safety. Here’s my take on it. There’s so much more to dig in here, but I leave that as an exercise to the reader. Steve has made the data public here. Turns out the vaccine increases death rates in the first 6 months after the shot which persists for about a year before going back to baseline. And it’s the last dose that kills you – pulling forward death into that first year post shot. Let’s start with death rate. Here we see the number of deaths per 100,000 person days after the last shot. More on that metric later, but it’s the least biased way we can look at the data we have. The blue line is from the vaccine records, the red is from some synthetic data I created that was explicitly designed to NOT have any vaccine effects (more on that below, too).

It had almost total governing authority over the district, which enabled it to create and manage its essential services. However, the corporation also used its newfound power to engage in some questionable activities. Over the years, Reedy Creek essentially became a tool for Disney to expand its influence and control far beyond the intended purpose of the agreement. It essentially operated as an “experimental absolute monarchy,” or a private corporate kingdom within the United States.
