NOTABLE QUOTES

Sidney Powell former federal prosecutor and author of “ LICENSED TO LIE”: The Supreme Court’s failure to date to address the massive election fraud and multiple constitutional violations that wrought a coup of the presidency of the greatest country in world history completes the implosion of each of our three branches of government into the rubble of a sinkhole of corruption. It is an absolute tragedy for the rule of law, the future of the Republic, and all freedom-loving people around the world.

Wayne Allen Root contributor to Frontpage Magazine: Biden — or, more likely, the real decision-makers behind the man who resembles a braindead puppet — really does appear to be carrying out the murder of the middle class.

President Biden finds Chauvin guilty before the jury does: It’s overwhelming, in my view. I wouldn’t say that unless the jury was sequestered.

President Biden called the family of George Floyd following the Chauvin guilty verdict: We are so relieved.

V.P. Harris following the Chauvin guilty verdict: America has a long history of systemic racism. Black Americans and black men, in particular, have been treated throughout the course of our country as less than human. Black men are fathers & brothers & sons, and uncles, and grandfathers, and friends, and neighbors. Their lives must be valued in our education system, in our healthcare system, in our housing system, in our economic system, in our criminal justice system, in our nation. Full-stop.

Van Jones CNN contributor and self-described communist when asked for his reaction following the Chauvin guilty verdict said: One down, many, many more to go.

Nancy Pelosi Speaker of the House following the Chauvin guilty verdict: Thank you George Floyd for sacrificing your life for justice!

Former President Obama and Michell Obama following the Chauvin guilty verdict: While today’s verdict may have been a necessary step on the road to progress, it was far from a sufficient one. We cannot rest.

David Horowitz regarding the Chauvin trial guilty verdict: Headed by Antifa and Black Lives Matter and supported by every so-called “Civil Rights” organization, the Democrat Party and its malignant leadership – Biden, Harris, Pelosi and Schumer, this lynch mob has been on the attack against law enforcement a decade and more. Their threat, No “Justice” No Peace, is a threat that more cities will be attacked, more people will die – perhaps even Chauvin case jurors – if the verdicts they want aren’t delivered. This is a criminal movement with a criminal mission: to substitute its own vigilante justice for America’s justice.

Former President George W. Bush, on the Today Show, describes today’s GOP as: isolationist, protectionist, and to a certain extent, nativist.

Karen Fann, the President of the Arizona Senate: Unfortunately and what is interesting is from the get-go it has been nothing but certifying election integrity. But the fact that we have been pushed back. They have sued us. They are threatening to sue us again. Maricopa County supervisors have done everything in their power to prevent us from doing this and now I’m beginning to wonder why would they not want to prove that their election system works, that it’s perfect. I don’t understand why we are getting threatened, sued and threatened, when all we want to do is election integrity here.”

Henry I. Miller & Jeff Stier contributors to Issues & Insights: Earth Day has devolved into an occasion for environmental Cassandras to prophesy apocalypse, dish antitechnology dirt, and proselytize for a “woke” agenda. Passion and zeal routinely trump science, and provability takes a back seat to plausibility.

BEHIND THE DEEP STATE

FITTON: Schiff’s Secret Subpoenas
The Constitution and our civil rights have been casualties of the partisan Left’s assault on President Trump. Rep. Adam Schiff’s “Ukraine call” impeachment investigation of Trump included controversial and, as best as I can tell, unprecedented secret subpoenas issued for phone records, including those of Rudy Giuliani, Trump’s lawyer. The subpoenas led to the publication of the private phone records of Giuliani, Congressman Devin Nunes, journalist John Solomon, Trump attorney Jay Sekulow, attorney Victoria Toensing, and other American citizens. In December 2019, Judicial Watch . . .

US SUPREME COURT

Nichols: Supreme Court’s failures are putting America on a path to tyranny
Rarely do the generation experiencing the actual events and decisions that lead to their nation’s demise fully appreciate the enormity of their oversight until sometime after their culture’s destruction has been rendered incurable. Largely, it is not due so much to their negligence as it is to most of them being too preoccupied with simply living and making a living. Perhaps that would explain why, in just the first four months of 2021, the Supreme Court issued four decisions — or, perhaps better viewed as non-decisions — that should have caused all legitimately patriotic Americans to be alarmed and called to action…but did not seem to. Only a few weeks ago, without offering any substantive explanation, the Court summarily refused to even look at — much less seriously consider — any of the evidence of the 2020 election irregularities offered by attorney Sidney Powell and others. Evidently, the Supreme Court of the United States of America was not interested in doing what it could — and should — to let America know decisively whether or not its presidential election had been shamelessly stolen by those now in power. Why would they not do this? Perhaps the answer is best revealed by the fact that, at the same time, the Court was also apparently too busy to halt a . . . […] From such glaring displays of indefensible Supreme Court inaction, the following incontrovertible truths have been set out in plain view before the nation’s very eyes: . . .

McMurray: Alan Dershowitz, First Guest On Mike Lindell’s “FRANK” Social Media Platform Drops Bombshell…Announces $1.6 Billion Lawsuit Against Dominion: “It is our right to look at Dominion’s source codes”
Mike Lindell’s first guest on the debut of his new social media platform “Frank” (frankspeech.com) was one of America’s most prominent Constitutional lawyers, Alan Dershowitz. Mike opened his “Frank-a-Thon,” an all day interview, with Dershowitz by announcing that “My Pillow” is suing Dominion for $1.6 billion for violating their First Amendment Right. Dershowitz explained why Dominion is guilty of violating the First Amendment Rights of Mike Lindell as well as the rights of the media to report the news: . . .

McDonald: These Parents and Teachers Have Had Enough of Woke Classrooms and Critical Race Theory
Parents are starting to push back. Here’s what we can do to empower them. More parents are waking up to the “woke” ideology that is seeping into their children’s classrooms and curriculum. Increasingly, they are speaking up and opting out. […] Last week, Andrew Gutmann, a father of a student at the elite, $54,000-a-year Brearley School in Manhattan, wrote a scathing open letter to the school community. He stated that he wouldn’t be re-enrolling his daughter this upcoming academic year due to the school’s singular focus on “anti-racism” efforts that, according to Gutmann, are overtly racist and exclusionary.[…]
In an article last month at City Journal, Weiss described many of the parents who have come forward from prestigious private schools in major cities to criticize what they see as indoctrination of their children into a leftist ideology of “wokeism.” In an article last week, . . . […] As more parents and educators feel emboldened to speak out against the rising tide of wokeism in their children’s schools, it offers opportunities for change. Some of that change might come from . . .

De Quenoy: Fighting Cancel Culture to Win
As summer approaches, undoubtedly with the most “peaceful” protests yet in store, there is a specter hanging over our land: the specter of cancel culture. Racial tension, sex scandals, a militant Left, and a national fad of taking constant offense have, in a very short time, turned the United States into a slouching dystopia. We now have lists of books that may not be read, films that must not be watched, jokes that are not to be told or laughed at, and words that must remain unspoken. Public statements past and present are subject to ruthless scrutiny in order to police adherence to the “woke” values of an activist few who rely on a self-referential and often contrived “victim” or “ally” status to exempt themselves from being challenged in any way. Disagreement, or mere toleration of others’ disagreement, is castigated as “violence” for which even hapless liberals can be cast out of what they imagine are elite jobs and desirable social circles into the pit of deplorables. […] With nearly two-thirds of Americans opposing cancel culture, one could be forgiven for thinking that fighting it would be easy. But it isn’t. […] A silent majority certainly stands against wokery, but it is precisely its silence that allows wokery to succeed.

BIDEN/HARRIS/OBAMA REGIME: TRANSFORMING FOREIGN POLICY

Greenfield: Biden Fails “Important Test of Resolve” Against Putin
The entire Russiagate narrative is hilariously coming apart even as the Democrats refuse to formally drop it and move on. Moscow is determined to humiliate Biden and score regional wins while the media sets up the lowest possible bar for him and he still can’t pass it. It would be funny if we weren’t Americans.
The United States ambassador to Russia is refusing to leave the country after the Kremlin “advised” him to return home following new Biden administration sanctions, two sources briefed on the situation tell Axios. Why it matters: . . .

BIDEN/HARRIS/OBAMA REGIME: TRANSFORMING AMERICA

Root: Why Are Biden and Democrats Annihilating the Middle Class?
Back in 2014, I wrote a book titled “The Murder of the Middle Class.” Don’t look now, but it’s happening. Back then, I was referring only to the murder of middle-class jobs and the American Dream. Today, Democrats appear to want the middle class eliminated altogether. They’re not just after our jobs; they’re playing Russian roulette with our lives. I’m dead serious (excuse the pun). Biden — or, more likely, the real decision-makers behind the man who resembles a braindead puppet — really does appear to be carrying out the murder of the middle class. Let’s start with . . .

THE DEMOCRAT PARTY PLAYBOOK: MARXIST (WOKE) IDENTITY POLITICS

Prager: Whites Aren’t Hated for Slavery But for Making America and the West
Whites made the country and the greatest civilization—not because they were white, but because of the values they held. Hatred of whites is ultimately hatred of those values.

Sullivan: American Businesses can be Woke, or they can be the Best, but they can’t be Both
“DE&I” (shorthand for “diversity, equity, and inclusion,”) is a handy acronym that has become commonplace in corporate America. As recently as last May some of the hucksters peddling it were lamenting that the COVID-19 pandemic had “stalled” corporate DE&I initiatives; their fortunes reversed when the death of George Floyd and the ensuing riots drove DE&I to the top of American corporations’ list of priorities. DE&I initiatives are being pitched as “the efforts an institution takes to create a more welcoming environment for people of less privileged identities.” But everyone knows what it really means: the company will be hiring fewer white men, more women and minorities. There are several problems with this corporate trend, not least of which is . . . […] The push for DE&I is a cancer that results in organizational atrophy for corporate America, not strength or progress.

FAUCI’S FLU: IT’S POLITICAL

Hoft: SECOND STUDY This Time From CDC WEBSITE Confirms Stanford Study on Face Masks Being Harmful – Cause Serious Side Effects
More support for health concerns with wearing masks has been uncovered. This report was published and presented at the CDC website in June 2020. It was brought to our attention today, that a report was published at the Hayride in March that is similar to our report from yesterday noted below: . . . […]
The article recently uncovered was published by the CDC and it states in black and white the side-effects of wearing a mask, specifically related to the masks trapping carbon dioxide or CO2. . . . The article further went on to elaborate on the side-effects of increased CO2 concentrations in the mask wearer that include: . . . […] The Hayride has covered this in the past specifically regarding the cognitive loss caused by COVID masks trapping CO2 where according to a Harvard Study breathing in as little as 945 PPM of CO2 lowers cognitive ability 15% and at 1400 PPM of CO2 cognitive ability reduces by 50%

Davidson: Vaccine-Hesitant Americans Aren’t Ignorant Rubes, They’re Understandably Cautious
Recent polls show about a quarter of American adults either don’t plan to get a COVID-19 vaccine or want to wait on it. The numbers have held steady for months: 27 percent in a recent Quinnipiac poll, 25 percent in an NPR/Marist poll from late March, and 30 percent in a Pew survey from mid-February. After federal health officials called for a pause in the distribution of Johnson and Johnson’s one-shot vaccine last week over fears of severe blood-clotting, the number of vaccine-hesitant Americans could be slightly higher now. That means tens of millions of American adults won’t be getting a vaccine, at least not right away. Why? For corporate media, the answer is simple: those people are idiots who have either bought into crazy conspiracy theories about the pandemic or are simply too selfish and lazy to do the right thing. Dr. Anthony Fauci, for one, is very frustrated with them. […] Could there be some other explanation, then — one that hasn’t yet occurred to reporters at the Times and other corporate media outlets — why so many Americans in rural, Republican-leaning places are reluctant to get the vaccine? Could it be that residents of these places have had a different experience with this pandemic than coastal elites and New York Times reporters? Perhaps they assessed the risks of getting COVID compared to the risks of an experimental medical treatment whose long-term effects are unknown, and decided that the former is a risk they’re willing to take. Is that unreasonable? Is it crazy?

HISTORY 101

Gordon: A Short History of the Filibuster
For a political tactic that sits at the center of a swirling controversy, the filibuster has humble origins. The Founding Fathers gave each house of Congress the power to set its own rules, but they clearly meant for most matters to be decided by majority vote, and they specified the exceptions: proposing amendments to the Constitution, overriding a presidential veto, expelling members of Congress, ratifying treaties, and convicting on an article of impeachment require a two-thirds vote in the relevant chamber. In the early days of the republic, Senate rules allowed a majority to end debate on legislation and move to a vote via a procedure called “moving the previous question.” But in 1804, Vice President Aaron Burr argued that the little-used rule was unneeded, and two years later, the Senate dropped it without replacing it. After that, a single senator (or a group of senators) could obstruct the legislative process simply by holding the floor. Thus the filibuster was born. The word comes from the Spanish for “freebooter,” another name for pirate. In the mid-nineteenth century, it signified . . .
