Eastman’s attorney, Randy Miller, asked him about a November 13, 2020, report that the Georgia State Election Board had Seven Hills Strategies prepare about problems in the 2020 election, which Eastman said he’d relied on. It discussed the chain of custody issues surrounding ballots and the integrity of their transportation, lack of transparency, access for Republican Party monitors, and incompetency by election officials. California Disciplinary Judge Yvette Roland, who contributed to Democrats while serving on the bench, refused to let him discuss it. She also refused to let him discuss a report from Kemp about election problems, which he also relied on. It examined ballot images and found that many were incorrectly added, such as votes for Trump going to other candidates and duplicate votes.

The Supreme Court on Friday refused a request by Missouri to reinstate a state law that bars police officers from enforcing federal restrictions on the sale and ownership of firearms that the state believes violate the Second Amendment. A federal judge ruled earlier this year that the state law is itself unconstitutional and blocked the state from enforcing the law. In an unsigned order on Friday, the justices left that decision in place while the state’s appeal continues in the lower courts. Justice Clarence Thomas indicated that he would have granted Missouri’s request, while two of his colleagues – Justices Samuel Alito and Neil Gorsuch – wrote separately to clarify their understanding of the scope of the lower court’s order.

For years, left-wing intellectuals have treated “intersectionality” as an inevitability. The social theory, which holds that all oppressed peoples must join together to overthrow their common oppressor, has been an essential strategy of the Left. There is some truth to this theory. When the fortunes of the Left are rising, intersectionality seems like a juggernaut: identity groups get aggregated into the mass, internal conflicts are subordinated to the cause of liberation, and a policy of “no enemies to the left” shifts political life in favor of the radicals. But the aura of inevitability surrounding the intersectional coalition is an illusion moments of crisis can bring suppressed contradictions to the surface and begin a process of fragmentation. The recent Hamas terror campaign against Israel might become such a crisis. Following the attack, the foot soldiers of intersectionality—most notably, Black Lives Matter (BLM), the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), and the academic “decolonization” movement—celebrated the militants who murdered civilians, raped women, and butchered babies. BLM’s Chicago chapter published a graphic lionizing the Hamas paraglider terrorists who killed innocents. The DSA blamed Israel for the terror attack against it, arguing that it was the “direct result of Israel’s apartheid regime.” Ivy League professors with expertise in “decolonization” called it a “stunning victory” and said that “Palestinians have every right to resist through armed struggle.” […] While the backlash against the radical Left’s support of terror is welcome, that support should not have come as a surprise. All of the groups have long promoted the violent “decolonization” of not just Israel but also the United States.

The bag was booby-trapped, containing a remote-activated explosive device—weighing 7 kg. Hamas purposefully chose to booby-trap a child’s backpack with the hope a well-intentioned civilian would pick it up.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) discovered a USB flash drive containing instructions for crafting a “cyanide dispersion device” on a Hamas terrorist who took part in the invasion of southern Israel on Oct. 7, as reported by Axios. The report stated that following this discovery, the Israeli foreign ministry issued a diplomatic cable titled “Hamas Intent to Use Chemical Weapons” to Israeli embassies worldwide. The message instructed the respective ambassadors to privately inform their host countries about this development because Hamas wants “to conduct attacks in a similar way that ISIS tried to do.”

The Southern Poverty Law Center has long played the role of ideological enforcer, branding conservative critics of the Left’s ideology “haters” on the level of the Ku Klux Klan. But recently, the SPLC increasingly appears to also have boots on the ground at leftist protests that skirt the boundaries of the law.

The SPLC has a long history of carrying water for Antifa rioters, but this year, one of the organization’s own lawyers got arrested for domestic terrorism at an Antifa riot in Atlanta. Now, it seems another SPLC lawyer may have helped organize the arguably anti-Israel protest on Wednesday that occupied the rotunda of one of the buildings on Capitol Hill that houses offices of members of Congress, the Cannon House Office Building. Large crowds of pro-Palestinian protesters gathered to demand a cease-fire between Israel and Hamas, the U.S.-designated terrorist organization that runs the government in the Gaza Strip.

[…] The protesters took over the Cannon rotunda, demanding a cease-fire. Police had erected fencing around the U.S. Capitol complex but protesters worked their way into the Cannon building. They sat down, holding banners reading, “Ceasefire,” “Let Gaza live,” and “Mourn the dead and fight like hell for the living.”

Is anything going to happen to her? Is she going to be impeached for inciting an insurrection, anything?” Glenn asks.

Kerr: Inside Black Lives Matter’s Long History With Hamas-Friendly Activists

Black Lives Matter chapters across the country made waves last week when they excused and explained away Hamas’s attack on Israel. A coalition of 26 local chapters called the attacks a “desperate act of self-defense.” The Chicago chapter shared an image glorifying Hamas gunmen on paragliders, before walking it back amid blowback. And the movement’s Phoenix branch praised Hamas “freedom fighters” for their acts of “resistance.” Echoing this rhetoric are two Hamas-friendly groups—American Muslims for Palestine and the Council for American-Islamic Relations—that have for nearly a decade worked arm-in-arm with the Black Lives Matter organization to plan rallies and lobby lawmakers. The groups are united by an “oppressed-oppressor narrative that helps them destroy society,” according to the Heritage Foundation’s Mike Gonzalez.

Since we no longer have borders there is no need for safety theater. […] Have illegals been tested for Covid? Even at the height of the pandemic they were not. Were they expected to be vaccinated? While the federal government mandated that federal employees and armed service members be vaccinated, it gave illegal immigrants a pass. Have they been investigated, or even questioned, about their criminal histories? Hardly. As a result, an untold number of those who’ve crossed into the United States illegally are no doubt criminals in their own countries who’ve decided to see how the pickings are up north. Others are possibly members of foreign terrorist cells with the ability, the will, and perhaps the mission to strike American targets.
