Killough: Studies Show Wind Farms Raise Temperatures, And Impact Could Become Significant As More Are Built

A 2004 study in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences found that “large-scale use of wind power can alter local and global climate by extracting kinetic energy and altering turbulent transport in the atmospheric boundary layer.” The authors of the study also state that large amounts of wind across the continent will produce a pronounced impact on climate, but that reducing carbon dioxide emissions produce a net benefit to the climate. In a 2010 study, University of Illinois researcher Somnath Roy found that wind farms affect temperatures and humidity near the surface. Roy warns that the “explosive growth” of future wind farms, which has occurred since the study was done, could impact agriculture. During her first term on the court, Jackson broke records, speaking more than any single justice has in a term since 2004, except for Chief Justice John Roberts in 2011 and 2021, according to Feldman’s data. After the Court heard 59 cases, with arguments frequently running past their scheduled end time, Jackson spoke a total of 78,800 words, more than 28,000 above what Justice Sonia Sotomayor spoke. […] The Supreme Court has ruled on 14 cases so far this term, issuing decisions that opened the pathway for federal courts to hear constitutional challenges to administrative agencies and allowed a death row inmate’s request for DNA testing to proceed. Decisions on major cases dealing with issues such as affirmative action, free speech, and religious accommodations have yet to be released. The Supreme Court has scheduled another opinion day for Thursday.

Kari Lake attorney Kurt Olsen today made a bombshell claim while asking for the reconsideration of counts relating to machine failures on election day, stating that “Maricopa officials conducted secret testing on the tabulators on October 14th, 17th, and 18th” after the County’s Logic and Accuracy tests. Olsen further stated that “260 of those 446 tabulators failed” but were “then used in the election.” Maricopa County’s Logic and Accuracy(L&A) tests were performed on October 11, 2022. According to the Elections Procedures Manual, “counties may, in their discretion, conduct additional pre-election L&A tests prior to the county’s and Secretary of State’s pre-election L&A test and/or additional post- election L&A tests after the county’s post-election L&A test, including with participation from representatives of the recognized political parties. If the County conducted further testing after their L&A test without party representatives and public notice, this would likely be illegal. During the conference Lake attorney Kurt Olson asked for more time to prepare for a case and bring in expert witnesses from out of state, but Attorneys for Katie Hobbs and Maricopa County wanted to expedite the trial bogus excuses such as saving resources. They are terrified that Lake’s attorneys will have time to bring a solid case with expert witnesses. Thompson tentatively scheduled a three-day trial next week beginning on May 17. The trial will occur on May 17th, 18th, and 19th. Counsel will be required to disclose who will testify, what opinions they will state, and what basis they have prior to trial.

Lessons are normalising extreme sexual behaviour and teaching trans dogma as fact. Sex education has changed. Long gone are the days when an embarrassed teacher fumbled his way through a couple of lessons on the facts of life. As recent reports have highlighted, puberty, periods and pregnancy barely warrant a mention nowadays. Instead, anal sex, fisting, rough sex and polyamory are the order of the day. Classes involve children ‘stepping away from heteronormative and monogamy-based assumptions’ in order to appreciate that ‘there are a variety of sexual preferences and practices’. On top of this, many children are also being taught that they have a gender identity that may be different from their biological sex. How has this happened? […] The assumption that even the youngest children have a sexuality leads UNESCO to claim they have ‘sexual rights’. German authorities did not approve a 2014 application from the Association for Decentralized Learning to launch primary and secondary educational opportunities. Attorneys filed a lawsuit over the inaction in 2017 and presented their case in three separate hearings. The German Constitutional Court dismissed a final domestic appeal last year. Lawyers for Alliance Defending Freedom International will represent the school before the European Court of Human Rights and contend that the denial of recognition for “an innovative school based on Christian values” should draw scrutiny, according to a press release from the faith-based legal advocacy organization. “The right to education includes the right to embrace innovative approaches like hybrid schooling,” ADF International Director of European Advocacy Felix Böllmann said in the release.[…] Home education has been outlawed in Germany for more than a century; four years ago, the European Court of Human Rights ruled against a family from Darmstadt, Germany, which had asserted the right to homeschool their children. Private religious schools, although legal, must follow state-mandated curricula from the area in which they are located.
