The COVID-19 vaccines do NOT stop a recipient from either contracting the disease or transmitting it to others. Exhibit A for this would be the recent COVID-19 diagnosis of the reportedly quintuple-vaxxed CDC director, Rochelle Walensky. These vaccines are ineffective in efforts to create herd immunity — unlike many of the established vaccines for other diseases that are already on the schedule. 3. The CDC decision ignores natural immunity. The CDC itself has released recent data showing that 86% of school-aged American children already have had prior COVID-19 infection. With the committee’s decision, the CDC yet again dismisses natural immunity as a protective factor against COVID-19 disease — a position so unscientific and intellectually dishonest that other factors (political, monetary) seem the only plausible explanation for it. 4. . . .

Based on the title, you might expect that this law would have something to do with keeping people safe, right? Think again. What the SAFE-T Act really does is eliminate cash bail for people who commit heinous felonies such as second-degree murder, arson, drug-induced homicide, robbery, kidnapping, aggravated battery, burglary, intimidation, aggravated driving under the influence, fleeing and eluding, drug offenses, and threatening a public official. And just in case you were wondering – no, that doesn’t mean that people who commit those crimes will be sitting in jail until their trial. Just the opposite, in fact. Under the SAFE-T Act, starting on January 1, 2023, accused murderers, arsonists, kidnappers, and other violent criminals will not be in jail at all before their trial. They will be free to roam the streets as before, despite the fact that they are potentially dangerous and undoubtedly desperate.

When governments limit drilling and mining for hydrocarbons in the ground, they manufacture scarcity. When governments set strict limits for how much oil, coal, and natural gas may be used commercially, such energies’ broad industrial usefulness ensures increasingly high demand. When companies are forced to limit their “carbon footprint” or purchase “carbon credits” (ordinary rocks) from licensed “green” vendors, then the government’s preferred business partners reap windfalls (and the government’s treasury mushrooms, too). When only certain wealthy individuals and companies can afford artificially expensive hydrocarbon energies as regular business costs, then budding entrepreneurs and small firms can no longer compete. Those at the peak of society’s wealth pyramid have a much easier time staying on top when the same natural sources of hydrocarbon energy once used to amass fortunes are now denied to those who would do the same. A war on “fossil fuels” is a superb tactic for protecting private market share.

Greenfield: Virginia Military Institute Went Woke, Enrollment Fell 25%

The Virginia Military Institute is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the presence of women at the nation’s oldest state military college with an appearance by Kimberly Dark: a fat rights activist and author of lesbian fanfic who wants to “reimagine masculinity”. “Why couldn’t we see that America has been racist forever, sexist forever?” Dark ranted in a post titled, “For those who do not want a Trump presidency — this is what we will do now.” Under Superintendent Cedric Wins, this is what the Virginia Military Institute has become. […] Superintendent Wins, VMI’s woke head, has been accused of undermining its proud tradition and driving away cadets. His “One Corps, One VMI Unifying Action Plan” puts DEI at the heart of VMI and claims that it will “empower Cadets to gain strength through diversity, acceptance by inclusion”. But the cadets aren’t coming. Enrollment for the new VMI class fell by 25%.

Violent Clashes Outside TPUSA Event at UC Davis

Black Conservative Stephen Davis – also known as MAGA Hulk – was the keynote speaker. As many as 100 protestors clashed outside the event hall. Conservatives were beaten and doused with pepper spray. Turning Point eventually canceled the speech over safety concerns. “Our hearts go out to the student who was so viciously attacked, and we are truly saddened by the state of college campuses across the country,” TPUSA said in a statement. “Speech is violence when it is an opposing ideology, but actual violence committed on behalf of radical leftists is time and time again permitted by institutions that used to value open dialogue.” […] The way I see it – any public university that refuses to protect free speech should lose their federal funding.
