Algorithms are the rules or instructions that tell machines what to do. Math geniuses are cleverly devising more ingenious algorithms. They used to give the rules of a game to the machine. No more. Now they tell the computer to study a thousand great games and figure out what it should do to win its next game. Surprising things happen. Moves scorned by experts turn out to be genius!

Politico, which is as much of the Leftist establishment as the SPLC itself, describes this gang of thugs as “a legal advocacy organization.” This is tantamount to calling the Ku Klux Klan a “racial justice organization.” […] The SPLC, while targeting individuals and groups it smears as “hate groups” and their leaders, is the real hate group.

Reese: NYC Paid Teachers Millions For Failing ‘Biased’ Licensing Tests. But The Reasons Don’t Add Up

Thousands of black and Latino teachers are getting a payout of $1.8 billion after claiming a state-required literacy test was discriminatory because white teachers were passing at a higher rate.
However, a former teaching standards official told the DCNF that the reasoning behind the payout doesn’t make sense.
“It was a basic literacy test that assesses whether these teachers had sufficient reading, writing and math knowledge to be in the classroom,” Kate Walsh, former president of the National Council on Teacher Quality, told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “You can’t claim a test is discriminatory because a higher percentage of a certain class of people or a certain race or ethnicity do worse. That’s not sufficient.”

(ARIZONA) ADI Staff Reporter: Scottsdale Unified Students Taught That Only 4% Of Men Are Exclusively Heterosexual

Scottsdale Unified psychology teacher Mackenzie Onofry taught Desert Mountain High School students a lesson in sexual orientation and homosexuality. Onofry presented slides that state as fact the idea that only 4% of men and 2% of women are exclusively heterosexual and claimed that “sexuality is a continuum” per Alfred Kinsey, despite much of Kinsey’s research being discredited. Students were also told that homosexuality “spans human history” and that “homosexual behavior seems a natural part of the animal world.” Additional points of discussion included that birth order increases the likelihood of males being born homosexual, with chances increasing by one third for each son born. […] According to parents who reviewed the response from Hirsch, the message could be summarized as, “if it’s not your kid being groomed by our teachers, don’t worry about it.”

Richard: Judge blocks Biden admin’s transgender school bathroom rule, athletes

A federal judge has blocked a directive from President Joe Biden’s administration that allowed transgender workers and students to use school restrooms matching their gender identities. It also allowed transgender athletes to join sports teams corresponding with their chosen genders.

The directive was blocked by Judge Charles Atchley Jr. of the Eastern District of Tennessee, a Trump appointee, after a coalition of 20 Republican attorneys general sued last year, Reuters reported. The plaintiffs argued the federal directive clashed with state laws and prevented states from enforcing their own laws that banned transgender school bathroom use.

In simple terms, the Irish have almost nothing in common with the Palestinians — not in their history, not in their culture, not in their situation. Yes, the Irish were oppressed by the British, but that does not make them similar to the Palestinians, as if severe oppression were unique to the Palestinians. It makes the Irish similar to much of humanity. Let’s go over some facts: 1. The Irish are indigenous to Ireland. They have roots going back thousands of years in Eire. While I am not one to dismiss Palestinian nationality, it does not go back thousands of years. In fact, it is the Jews who go back thousands of years in the Holy Land. Simonson: Biden Halts Prosecutions for Most Illegal Border Crossings

The Biden administration dramatically reduced migrant prosecutions by nearly 80 percent in the 2021 fiscal year, even as illegal crossings skyrocketed. Just 2,896 migrants apprehended on the southwest border were transferred into U.S. Marshals Service custody in the 2021 fiscal year, according to an internal Department of Homeland Security memo obtained by the Washington Free Beacon. In the 2020 fiscal year, 13,213 migrants were transferred to federal authorities for prosecution. The precipitous drop in migrant prosecutions illustrates President Joe Biden’s break from prior administrations’ policies toward illegal immigration. Refraining from bringing criminal charges against the vast majority of individuals entering the country illegally also provides evidence for critics who say the White House is exacerbating the migration crisis on the southern border.

The Democrat Party began in earnest with the election of Andrew Jackson, a ‘man of the people’, in 1828. Their platform was one of limited government and individual rights, including maintaining and advancing into new states the institution of slavery. The ‘Peculiar Institution’ was a bane on Whites as well as Blacks, affording cheap labor for the upper class elites, leaving many Whites out of the job market. Jackson was not above ethnic cleansing . . .

Ibrahim: Death for “Blasphemers” in Pakistan

On July 4, 2022, a Christian mechanic who had been imprisoned for the last five years, awaiting trial under a false accusation of “blasphemy” for allegedly insulting the Muslim prophet Muhammad, was sentenced to death by hanging in a Pakistani court. Five years earlier, on June 5, 2017, Ashfaq Masih, 34, had gotten into a quarrel with Muhammad Naveen, a rival who had established a mechanics’ workshop near Masih’s. According to Masih’s not guilty plea, Muhammad “was jealous because my business was running better,” and, after their altercation, “threatened me with dire consequences.” On the following day, June 6, according to Masih: . . . […] Masih’s case is now at least the third death sentencing of its kind since the start of this year. In February 2022, Zafar Bhatti, 58 — another Christian man who had been serving a life sentence under a false accusation of blaspheming Muhammad in a text — was given a death sentence. In January 2022, Aneeqa Atteeq, a Muslim woman, was sentenced to death after a Pakistani court pronounced her guilty of insulting Muhammad in text messages she had sent to a man via WhatsApp. She had offered a more plausible if not prosaic explanation: the man who reported her was getting “revenge” on her because she had refused his advances.
