NOTABLE QUOTES

President Trump in his CPAC speech: I will be actively working to elect strong, tough, and smart Republican leaders. Now more than ever is the time for tough, strong, and energetic Republican leaders who have spines of steel. We need strong leadership. We cannot have leaders who show more passion for condemning their fellow Americans than they have ever shown for standing up to Democrats, the media, and the radicals who want to turn America into a socialist country.

President Trump in his CPAC speech: I am not starting a new party. That was fake news. Wouldn’t that be brilliant? Let’s start a new party and divide our vote.

Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) in his CPAC speech: Hold the line and your ground and don’t ever, ever, back down.

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) in his CPAC speech: How about we ditch the lockdown governors like Cuomo and Newsom and Murphy and never ditch the American way of life and the American spirit.

Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ) in his America First Political Action Conference (AFPAC) speech said: I will not be silent. The only thing worse than censorship is self-censorship.

George Neumayr contributor to American Spectator wrote: Like Obama, Biden casts himself as a revolutionary, working to “transform” America. But to what revolutionary tradition is he appealing? It is not the God-fearing American one. It is more like the coercive, starkly anti-religious French Revolution that viewed Christianity as an impediment to progress. In his conception of “human rights” trumping religious freedom, Biden draws his inspiration not from 1776 Philadelphia but from 1789 Paris.

Saavedra: Trump Names Republicans In House And Senate That He Is Going After, Gives Special Attention To One
“Instead of attacking me and, more importantly, the voters of our movement, top establishment Republicans in Washington should be spending their energy in opposing Biden, Pelosi, Schumer, and the Democrats,” Trump continued. “I’ve said to some of them, I said, you know, during the Obama years and now during Biden, if you spent the same energy on attacking them, you’d actually be successful.” Trump then named those in the Senate and the House that he will likely be targeting moving forward. “The Democrats don’t have grandstanders like Mitt Romney, little Ben Sasse, Richard Burr, Bill Cassidy, Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, Pat Toomey,” Trump said. “And in the house, . . .

The Right Scoop: IT BEGINS: Trump endorses new candidate to primary House Republican who voted to impeach him
Max Miller is a wonderful person who did a great job at the White House and will be a fantastic Congressman. He is a Marine Veteran, a son of Ohio, and a true PATRIOT. Current Rep. Anthony Gonzalez should not be representing the people of the 16th district because he does not represent their interest of their heart. Max Miller has my Complete and Total Endorsement! […] And just for context outside of the impeachment vote, Rep. Anthony Gonzalez ran unopposed in the 2020 Republican Primary. So he’ll have some stiff competition this time around.

Isenstadt: Trump shares plans for new super PAC in Mar-a-Lago meeting
Former President Donald Trump told political advisers Thursday that he’s chosen longtime ally Corey Lewandowski to run a yet-to-be-formed super PAC as part of his expanding post-presidential political apparatus, according to multiple people familiar with the discussion. The decision was made in a multi-hour meeting at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate on Thursday. Trump gathered his top political lieutenants, including Donald Trump Jr., former campaign manager Bill Stepien, former deputy campaign manager Justin Clark, former campaign manager Brad Parscale, former White House social media director Dan Scavino and senior adviser Jason Miller. Alex Cannon, an attorney who has been advising the Trump team on the post-White House plans, was also present.

Buchanan: Trump: The Once and Future King?
“I don’t know if he’ll run in 2024 or not. But if he does, I’m pretty sure he will win the nomination.” So says Mitt Romney, the sole Republican senator to have voted twice to convict President Donald J. Trump of impeachable acts. But is it possible Trump could win the nomination in 2024? What does history teach us about Republican presidents who, after losing the White House, come back to win it again? Well, to be frank, there is no such history. Consider. Four Republican presidents in the 20th century were defeated while seeking a second term. None was nominated again. […] As for Trump running in 2024 and winning the GOP nomination, he does hold high cards no other ex-president held, except perhaps Roosevelt. Trump has a vast and loyal following. Currently three-fourths of all Republicans see him as their leader. He won 74 million votes, the highest total ever for a sitting president or a losing presidential candidate. Their loyalty is traceable to what Trump achieved, whom and how he fought, and the new issues he introduced and has become indelibly associated. Foremost among these is his struggle to secure the Southern border against endless illegal migrant crossings. Unrestricted immigration from the South, the Third Worldization of America, is the true existential threat “climate change” purports to be.

BEHIND THE DEEP STATE

Sundance: U.S. Attorney John Durham Announces His Departure from Office, No Details of Special Counsel Role Continuing
An announcement today from the U.S. District of Connecticut John Durham is a little perplexing. According to the announcement USAO John Durham is resigning from office effective February 28. However, there is no information about his prior appointment as special counsel to review the DOJ and FBI conduct in the Trump investigation. Here’s the announcement: . . . […] However, here’s the issue… under DOJ regulations [28 cfr 600] a special counsel must come from “outside government“; so did John Durham resign his position prior to the appointment, or has Bill Barr just given the appearance of a special counsel appointment while knowing the legal validity of it will collapse upon challenge? […] Obviously Bill Barr is not stupid, he would know the regulations he cites would require the special counsel to come from “outside the U.S. government”, so what gives? Did Durham resign to . . .

THE FIGHT FOR ELECTION INTEGRITY

Newsmax: Judge Rules Arizona Senate Can Access 2020 Election Ballots
The five-member Board of Supervisors argued that the ballots were secret, that the Legislature had no right to access them and that the subpoenas issued by Senate President Karen Fann were for an illegitimate purpose, among other arguments. The Senate’s lawyers contended that the constitution gives the Legislature the role of maintaining the purity of elections and make sure voter integrity is protected, that the subpoenas were legal and a proper use of legislative power. In his ruling, Thomason agreed with the Senate on all those arguments, saying the subpoenas “are legal and enforceable.” [NOTE: 2.1 million Maricopa County ballots will be reviewed.]

Payne: Efforts underway in key battleground states to return voting systems to pre-2020 rules
Significant legislative attempts are underway in multiple U.S. states, including key battleground states, to roll back major changes in voting rules and regulations to various pre-2020 status quo antes. The efforts come after an historically chaotic election process that has left millions of Americans doubtful of election fairness, security, transparency and accountability. Changes to election rules — some of them enacted prior to 2020 and others put in place in response to the COVID-19 pandemic last year — have included expansive mail-in voting, expanded early voting, relaxation of verification rules, and extensions to ballot receipt deadlines. Those rules likely contributed to a record 158,000,000-plus votes cast in the 2020 election. But the relaxation of various voting requirements has also led to significant distrust in the election system: Nearly 40% of voters believe that U.S. elections are beset by fraud, while a similar number claim that such concerns haven’t been properly vetted by public authorities.

National Pulse: WATCH: Kassam Blasts Never Trumpism, Corporate Conservatism At Fiery Hillsdale Speech.
National Pulse Editor-in-Chief Raheem Kassam delivered a speech, “The Future of Anti-Trump Conservatism,” at the Hillsdale College National Leadership Seminar in Phoenix, Arizona. Noting there is “no future” for the Never Trump sect of the Republican party, Kassam draws parallels between Conservative Party infighting in the United Kingdom and the U.S. and encourages Americans to fight to reclaim the GOP.

BIDEN/HARRIS/OBAMA: FOREIGN POLICY

Spencer: Biden’s Handlers Bomb Syria
The self-anointed foreign policy and military experts who are now in charge struck without even knowing exactly whether they were hitting what they wanted to hit. CNN noted that the site of the airstrikes “was not specifically tied to the rocket attacks but Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin said he was ‘confident’ it was used by the same Iranian-backed Shia militias that had fired rockets at US and coalition forces.” Well, that’s that, then: the political elites’ foreign policy exponents, from John Kerry to Ben Rhodes, have done so very much to inspire confidence, who could possibly doubt that they know what they’re doing? Pentagon spokesman John Kirby claimed improbably thatthe strikes took place “at President Biden’s direction,” and were designed to deal with “ongoing threats” to U.S. forces in Syria. “Specifically,” Kirby explained, . . . […] Here is a better way to protect American troops in Syria and Iraq, and de-escalate the overall situation in both countries: . . .

Greenfield: CALL ME, AYATOLLAH: Iran Turns Down Biden’s Plea to Negotiate. Biden Asks for 2nd Chance
In an entirely unexpected turn of events, Biden’s decision to announce that he wanted to crawl back into Obama’s faux nuclear deal with Iran was met with overt contempt by the Islamic terrorist state. When you announce your negotiating position ahead of time, you should assume that the other side will demand a bigger price. And that’s exactly what Iran is doing. It’s turning up the . . .

Ullyot: Biden vs Trump On National Security: Here’s The New Administration’s First Month Report Card
Whatever your views of Donald Trump’s presidency, it is hard to dispute that he produced a stronger record of achievement across the board when it comes to protecting the American people from a range of foreign threats than any other president in at least a generation. […] One month ago, all presidential appointees in the White House wrote standard, end-of-office resignation letters to Trump. In my letter departing as deputy assistant to the president and spokesman for the National Security Council, I singled out 10 key accomplishments he achieved for the American people (most of which were accomplished in the last 18 months of his term, with new NSC leaders Robert O’Brien and Matt Pottinger executing efficiently on his priorities across the government). The 10 accomplishments offer a good framework for scoring President Biden’s effect on our national security in his first 30 days in office. The bottom line: The jury is still out on where the Biden administration stands on most of these issues so early into the administration, but on a number of the items, there are worrying signs of a backslide on the historic progress Trump made. Following are each of Trump’s key accomplishments and a couple of points from Biden’s initial actions on each of them: 1. Building a new international consensus on China by standing up to its aggression in all its forms: After Trump pulled the United States from the World Health Organization last year over the body’s working with China to cover up the virus, Biden rejoined the WHO on his first day in office, resuming full U.S. funding, and failed to demand specific reforms including the replacement of the disastrous leadership team headed by Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus. Further, Biden . . . 2. Strengthening critical partnerships . . .

BIDEN/HARRIS/OBAMA: TRANSFORMING AMERICA

Farnan: The Increasingly Secret History Of The Racist Democrats, And How Senile, Boomer Biden Heralds The End
Democrats are desperately trying to maintain political power by perpetrating a number of lies. The National Pulse has been on the forefront dissecting the lies, including The Russia Lie, The Charlottesville Lie and The Insurrection Lie, to name a few. There is one lie, though, that exceeds all others because without it, the Democratic Party would cease to exist: The Racism Lie. This week, our editor at The National Pulse, Raheem Kassam, was banned from Twitter immediately after publishing an article critical of the Congressional Black Caucus. Merrick Garland spent his testimony before the Senate promising to make it a priority to prosecute white supremacists whom he suggests form the core of the Trump movement. To celebrate Black History Month, The National Pulse provides the following, accurate account of the civil rights movement. In the end, it was black writers and thinkers, operating mostly in alternative media, who won the argument. The white Boomers atop the Oligarchy who silence political opponents under the banner of “racism” steal the valor of the real heroes for political gain. In the late 1960s, Democrats in coordination with media, academia and the most powerful institutions in America, performed the greatest political card trick in history. Until then, the upper echelons of the Democratic Party had a strong, historical association with racism.

VDH: Was COVID-19 Our Neutron Bomb?
In the 1970s and 1980s, furor arose over our possible use of the “neutron bomb” that macabrely would “kill people, but not destroy property.” The logic of the perverse weapon was that on allied and friendly European ground, outnumbered defensive NATO troops might radiate and destroy invading masses of Soviet armored troops by periodic detonations of low-yield thermonuclear shells, rockets, and bombs. The ensuing blasts of heat would sear flesh, but would lack commensurate repercussion power to destroy most structures and buildings, and leave far smaller toxic radiation trails. In eerie Strangelovian terms, once the enemy was finished off, returning friendly troops and populations could sort their way among the mass dead to find their infrastructure intact—without “collateral” damage or fear of serious radiation sickness. In some ways, COVID-19 was our neutron bomb. […] If Biden and his team get what they wish—a neo-socialist, big government transformation—we will enter tough times. But not yet and perhaps not until after 2022.

George Neumayr: Biden Coerces Christians
He treats their tenets as crimes. […] Biden’s secularism is alien to the American Revolution — “The establishment of civil and religious liberty was the motive that induced me to the field of battle,” said America’s first president, George Washington — but very akin to the spirit of the French Revolution. In his plans to persecute the Little Sisters of the Poor and other Christian groups, Biden resembles not the Founding Fathers but the French secularists who bowed before the “Goddess of Reason.” They, too, wanted to drive Christians from the public square; they, too, thought that the claims of secular morality should supersede the tenets of Christianity. […] Indeed, Biden’s planned violations of religious freedom surpass even the secularist imagination of a Voltaire.

Coy: Don’t Let Progressives Control the Language of the National Debate
When two opposing forces are locked in battle, it is of the utmost importance not to let one side be the decider of the rules of engagement. It is a crucial error to let one side decide what weapons are used, what land is fought over, and what language is used. It is an obvious error to allow one’s enemy to decide the language. On this point, Patriots (conservatives/constitutionalists/Christians) cannot allow the Progressives (Deep State/socialists/globalists) to decide the language we use in our battle for America. In particular, we cannot allow them to decide who is extreme and who is not. The Progressives are the extremists. Progressives are the extremists when it comes to immigration. Progressives want an open border; they are allowing illegals in without criminal checks and COVID testing. A country without borders will not be a sovereign country much longer. Maybe that is the Globalists’ intent. – Progressives are the extremists when it comes to . . . Progressives are the extremists when it comes to . . .

Housman: House Votes To Pass $1.9 Trillion COVID-19 Relief Package
The American Rescue Plan was passed by a 219-212 vote, with two Democrats voting against and no Republicans voting in favor. Key provisions of the proposal include $1,400 relief checks for Americans and $350 billion for state, local, and tribal government budgets. […] Critics of the package have said it includes far too much non-coronavirus related spending, ballooning the cost and jamming in progressive priorities. THE DEMOCRAT LED TOTALITARIAN PURGE & PERSECUTION

Tobin: Stanford Mob’s Attempt To Cancel Hoover Institution Scholars Fails
Cancel culture is successful because of two basic assumptions. One is that all enlightened people within a certain community believe in the same things and that anyone who disagrees with any of the current leftist orthodoxies about politics, race, or sex is a heretic who must be shunned, shamed, and driven out of polite society. The other is that the cultural consensus is so strong that no individual or group of individuals can resist it. Armed with these factors, outrage mobs — particularly on college campuses — are generally able to overwhelm their victims without too much trouble. All it usually takes is an accusation, a circulated letter, or a demonstration of some sort, and the woke usually get their way. Fearful lest they become the next targets to be labeled as racists, transphobes (or, even worse, Trump supporters), most university administrators obey the cancel mob and punish whoever has been deemed to have stepped out of line. That’s not the way it went at Stanford University earlier this month, however. There, a recent virtual meeting of the Faculty Senate devoted to an auto-da-fe of three prominent conservatives and the Hoover Institution that shelters them did not produce the desired results. Despite a months-long campaign of demonization directed at Victor Davis Hanson, Niall Ferguson, and Scott Atlas — amplified with support from The Stanford Daily — the assault ended without condemnation of the trio or Hoover. […] . . . in recent years this totalitarian spirit has spread from the academy to the rest of society. Woke mobs in newsrooms like those of The New York Times and Politico now play the same role as university senates and student protest movements with even more ruthless dedication to silencing opponents, with even more success.

DEMOCRAT PARTY’S WAR ON AMERICA’S CHILDREN

Audette: Former Fox News Anchor’s Disturbing Description of Why She Took Her Kids Out of NYC School: “Three-week trans-education experiment was more about trying to convince them…look, come on over.”
The video below is not what normally comes from Bill Maher’s show. It’s an enlightening look at how dangerous and destructive schools have become. Former Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly appeared on Bill Maher’s HBO show on Friday night, where she discussed the agenda at “hard-left” schools in New York City. Maher brought up what Megyn Kelly had previously discussed during her podcast last November. He wanted to discuss why Kelly and her husband pulled their three children out of school in NYC. he description of what Kelly’s children experienced was even shocking to leftist Maher.

Greene: The Explosion In Queer Sexuality Among Kids Is Not A Natural Trend
For young American women, it appears queer identity may just be the newest fashion trend they are eager to show off on social media. A new Gallup poll published on Feb. 24 shows 1 in 6 Gen Z adults identify as LGBT. These results represent a remarkable jump from 2017, when 4.5 percent of Americans identified as LGBT, a number that has now risen to 5.6 percent just three years later. The increase is indeed dramatic, yet it doesn’t fully tell the whole story. Why? While the population of Americans identifying as LGBT has risen steadily since 2012, last year the question was expanded from a simple “yes” or “no” to LGBT identity to include specific categories to choose from. Only one identity group showed a dramatic increase: bisexual women. […] Phillip Hammack, a psychology professor and director of the Sexual and Gender Diversity Laboratory at the University of California, Santa Cruz responded with excitement to the survey: . . . […] As Abigail Shrier discussed in great detail with in-depth research in her book, “Irreversible Damage: The Transgender Craze Seducing Our Daughters,” the power of social contagion and peer group identity is important to consider: . . .

Fonte: A Trojan Horse for Woke Education
A massive new national project called “Educating for American Democracy” will be launched on Tuesday with the explicit aim of “redefining” and then “harmonizing” American civic education nationwide. From the days of Thomas Jefferson, Noah Webster, Horace Mann, and the McGuffey readers to Ronald Reagan’s farewell address and the controversy over national history standards, citizenship education (broadly understood) has always been a vital function of American schools for the perpetuation of the American way of life. That’s about to change for the worse. Educating for American Democracy (EAD) is a coalition of educators that aims “to transform teaching of civics and history to sustain our constitutional democracy and meet the needs of a diverse 21st century K-12 student body.” EAD in 2019 received start-up funding of $650,000 from the U.S. Department of Education and the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH). […] The project insists that “The Educating for American Democracy Roadmap demonstrates that an ideologically, demographically, and professionally diverse group agrees about content and pedagogy.” Since it appears that EAD is about to promote a de facto national curriculum, let us examine this project in some detail. […] One wonders what kind of national “consensus” agrees that equity (narratives of “oppression”) is preferable to equality under the law; that post-1960s historical scholarship is a “great achievement,” that simple residency in our nation (permanent or transient, legal or illegal) is tantamount to American citizenship; that George Washington was an active “enslaver”; that training students to be left-wing activists should be at the heart of 21stcentury civic education.
