Enrico Trigoso reporter for The Epoch Times: A French peer-reviewed study concluded that for both the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, the risk of myocarditis skyrockets a week after vaccination. The risk of myocarditis after mRNA vaccination was 8 times and 30 times greater than unvaccinated control groups for BNT162b2 (Pfizer-BioNTech) and mRNA-1273 (Moderna), respectively. The largest association for myocarditis following the Moderna jab was 44 times higher risk for persons aged 18 to 24 years. As for the Pfizer shot, in relation to the same age group, the risk was 13 times higher.

Hanneman: Former Senate Sergeant-at-Arms Michael Stenger, in Charge of Security on Jan. 6, Dies at 71

Michael Stenger, the former U.S. Senate sergeant-at-arms who was in charge of Senate security during the breach of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, died on June 27. The circumstances and cause of his death weren’t immediately clear. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) posted on Twitter that Stenger “was found dead today.” Stenger, 71, of Falls Church, Virginia, resigned the day after the Capitol breach at the request of then-Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), who hired him for the post in April 2018. He served as the 41st sergeant-at-arms of the U.S. Senate. The sergeant-at-arms is the chief law enforcement, protocol, and executive officer for the U.S. Senate. The sergeant-at-arms is responsible for security in the Capitol and in all Senate buildings and serves as Senate doorkeeper.

Porter: A Great Day for American Democracy

In the immediate wake of the overturning of Roe v. Wade, I repeatedly came across the same meme floating around social media. It consists of a still from the famous “I’m Just a Bill” musical segment from the 1970s educational television series “Schoolhouse Rock!” In it, a personified piece of legislation, aptly named Bill, sits on the steps of the Capitol with a little boy. In the show, he is about to explain the basics of American civics to the boy through song, but in the meme, it is captioned: “Sorry, kid. There’s no song to explain this crap.” The irony is that the very people sharing this meme – the same people who paint the overturning of Roe as “undemocratic” – are patently doing so out of an ignorance of precisely the sort of basic civics that “Schoolhouse Rock!” educated children about through song and cartoon in the 1970s. For it only requires a basic understanding of fundamental political concepts like constitutional democracy and the separation of powers, and a rudimentary knowledge of the American political system of constitutional, representative, and federalist democracy, to see that June 24 was in fact a great day for our democracy.What does it mean to describe our polity as a “democracy” in the first place? It means that “We, the People” are sovereign. A democratic state is one in which the people rule, one of self-government by the governed.

The Biden administration announced steps to beef up its response to monkeypox on Tuesday, detailing plans to offer more vaccines and more tests to people who are most at risk of getting it — including men who have sex with men and their partners. The move comes after pressure from states, who have been pushing the administration to release more doses of monkeypox vaccine from the Strategic National Stockpile managed by the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response at the Department of Health and Human Services. Critics have also charged that the United States is not offering enough testing to monitor the spread of the virus, which is thought to be more widespread than current case counts suggest.

That’s just what I was told.” Sure enough, the patient flew to China and got his heart on the date promised. As far as we are aware, he was the first Israeli patient to undergo heart transplantation in China—though he was preceded by numerous Israelis who traveled there for kidney transplants. […] Since the 1990s it has been well known that the People’s Republic of China (PRC) traffics organs from executed prisoners. The pioneering human rights researcher Robin Munro was the first to find official approval for the practice while thumbing through an obscure volume of legal texts in a Hong Kong library. Those “temporary rules,” signed by a bevy of PRC ministries, authorized police and health departments to use the organs from executed prisoners and instructed them to keep quiet about it. […] Theories as to whose bodies made up the shortfall between the number of transplants and the number of officially recorded death penalty prisoners have confounded analysts since 2006. The leading hypothesis to date has been that political prisoners—mostly practitioners of Falun Gong, and more recently probably Uyghur Muslims, too—were killed extralegally, and their organs monetized. But alongside the question of from whom, there is an almost equally compelling question of how? According to official claims, the act of judicial execution by public security authorities was hived off from the procurement of organs by medical professionals. This arrangement would still be highly unethical and is banned globally, because capital prisoners and their families cannot give informed consent to donate organs due to the inherently coercive nature of their circumstances. Jewell: Biden Energy Secretary Violated Federal Law By Using Office To Promote Democrats, Special Counsel Rules

Biden Energy Secretary and former Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm violated the Hatch Act during an October 2021 interview when she used her office to promote Democratic candidates, according to the U.S. Office of Special Counsel (OSC). Granholm’s violation was revealed after watchdog group Foundation for Accountability & Civic Trust (FACT) requested that the OSC investigate comments Granholm made to media outlet Marie Clare on October 6, 2021. During an interview with the outlet, Granholm said it was “good news … voting gave Democrats a bare majority (in Congress),” before attempting to clarify by stating she was “using Democrats as a substitute for the policies that you believe in, the policies that you would like to see happen,” the Detroit Free Press reported. The OSC determined that Granholm’s comments crossed the line as they were “directed at the success of the Democratic Party.”

They are mortified by boycotts and terrified by bad press (see what happened to Pepsi in January after abortifa targeted the company for its donation to the Texas GOP). […] According to Guardini, Nature, Personality, and Culture constituted the modern trinity. The foundation of the modern world view, they were also the source of misjudgment and perplexity: . . . The California Department of Justice launched its 2022 Firearms Dashboard Portal on Monday. The portal featured data on the state’s gun purchases as well as concealed carry license holders. Users quickly learned that publicly-accessible files – including identifying information of concealed carry permit owners – could be downloaded from the graphics, as The Reload reports. As of Tuesday afternoon, the dashboard appears to have been pulled from the website.

A Pennsylvania drag queen who counseled children at a “safe haven” for LGBTQ+ youth has been charged with 25 counts of child pornography, according to reports.A criminal docket issued last week shows Brice Patric Ryschon Williams was charged with 25 counts of child pornography and one count of criminal use of a communication facility. The sexually explicit content found in Williams’ possession includes at least 49 photos and 25 videos of naked, prepubescent boys. The images showed “genitalia and boys performing sex acts,” in some cases “with an adult man.” […] A video clip posted on Instagram also appears to show Williams performing for children in 2017.

Morrow: Pro-Abortion Amazon Employees Want To Kill Jobs in Pro-Life States

A group of pro-abortion Amazon employees wrote to corporate leadership on Monday demanding that the company withdraw business from pro-life states in the wake of Roe v. Wade’s fall, according to a letter obtained by the exposé Twitter account Libs of TikTok. The notice listed nine employee exhortations, the most drastic of which told company executives to “cease operations in states that enact laws that threaten the lives and liberty of abortion seekers, either by denying healthcare in life-threatening circumstances or by criminalizing abortion seekers and providers.” Such a decision would shut down more than 100 Amazon fulfillment centers, software development centers, and customer service centers, slashing billions in revenue and more than 150,000 jobs.
