NOTABLE QUOTES

Ilana Mercer contributor to American Greatness wrote: The defining difference between Democrats and Republicans is this: Republicans live on their political knees. They apologize and expiate for their principles, which are generally not unsound. Democrats, conversely and admirably, stand tall for their core beliefs, as repugnant as these mostly are.

Daniel Greenfield contributor to Frontpage Magazine wrote: Impeachment, like the thousands of soldiers occupying D.C., was political theater. The reality behind the theater is meant to sweep away the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, due process and free elections as if they had never existed under the guise of fighting domestic extremism. And that is a true emergency.

Mitch McConnell Senate Minority Leader, following President Trump’s impeachment vindication, said: President Trump is still liable for everything he did while he was in office, as an ordinary citizen, unless the statute of limitations has run. He didn’t get away with anything yet.

Steve Bannon of War Room Pandemic: Mitch McConnel has got to go. He’s a poison.

Senator Richard Blumenthal (D-CT) on MSNBC Monday: We need to reverse the rising tide of extremist violence in this country. The mob that Donald Trump mobilized was armed. The Capitol Police and Metropolitan Police recovered firearms on that day. That mob is still out there and still dangerous, and part of the reason that I believe we need a 9/11 commission, that type of commission. I’m drafting a bill that I hope will be bipartisan, to uncover the causes and impose accountability, and provide more protection against that kind of a mob, that violent extremism.

Rebecca Bodenheimer a self-identified progressive sounds off about the politics surrounding school reopening: The politicization of this issue is what’s really fucked up. Schools are largely open in red states and closed in blue ones (see below for a devastating graphic). It’s very difficult for me to understand the simplistic thinking that says: Trump said open schools, so we must keep them closed at all costs. I have never felt so alienated from the people I usually align myself with politically.

Lori Lightfoot Democrat Chicago Mayor appears to have had enough with the Chicago Teachers Union: When you have unions that have other aspirations beyond being a union, and maybe being something akin to a political party, then there’s always going to be conflict.

Rick Moran contributor to PJ Media explains why the MSM is all in for FLOTUS Jill Biden: Mrs. Biden is a woman (a plus), a teacher (a plus-plus), and a Democrat (nailed it). And for the next 4 years, she will be a goddess without blemish. She will be held up as a role model for little girls. It’s making me physically ill.

PRESIDENT TRUMP

Solomon: Twice acquitted, Trump possesses many options to reinvigorate MAGA after White House
Two days removed from his second impeachment acquittal, former President Donald Trump was returning from a day of golf when he was greeted by a throng of flag-waving fans as he neared his Mar-a-Lago estate. […] The spontaneous event was a not-so-subtle reminder that the Twitter-banished, twice-impeached 45th president remains a continuing force inside the GOP. Anyone who thinks otherwise does so at their own peril. […] The first and most obvious option is for Trump to try to become the 47th president in four years, winning back the White House. With more than 80% of Republicans still supporting him and a majority favoring him as the 2024 GOP nominee even after impeachment, Trump has a clear path back to the campaign trail if he chooses. But it is hardly the only option. And long before he must decide, he has the opportunity for significant impact. One option is to . . . […] But an easier and quicker way for Trump to build a new conservative ecosystem would be for him to use his clout to . . .

GOP

Sundance: Mitch McConnell Deployed His Anti-Trump Ploy in The Exact Same Manner He Deployed Against The Tea Party
An interesting, insightful and accurate article from Christopher Bedford in The Federalist [SEE HERE] outlines how Mitch McConnell delivered his impeachment floor speech as a ploy to destroy the MAGA movement. Bedford notes how Senator Lindsey Graham even outlined how McConnell’s attack was purposefully written and delivered to give any Democrat opponent in 2022 ammunition against Republican senators up for re-election. However, what Bedford and Graham did not directly speak about is: (a) the historic pattern within exactly what Mitch McConnell did; and (b) the motive for him doing so. […] Through his power structure, McConnell directly controls about 8 to 15 republican senators; we have called them “The Decepticons” for years. [Cornyn, Thune, Porter, Blunt, Portman, Burr, Barasso, Crapo, Murkowski, Gardner, Roberts, Sasse, Tillis, Rubio, Graham and Romney] […] To remind ourselves how Minority and Majority Senator McConnell took down the threat of the Tea Party . . .

Nitzberg: York County Republican committee voted to censure Sen. Pat Toomey
“Saturday, February 13th, the York County Republican committee voted to censure U.S. Senator Pat Toomey for his voting record which is replete with positions that are counter to the principles of the Republican party and being out of touch with the core beliefs of the People of Pennsylvania,” according to a press release. Toomey, who has announced that he will not run for reelection in 2022, was among the seven GOP senators to vote to convict Trump during the vote at the Senate impeachment trial on Saturday.

Anderson: N.C. GOP unanimously votes to censure Sen. Richard Burr over impeachment vote
The North Carolina Republican Party unanimously approved a resolution Monday to censure Sen. Richard Burr over his vote to convict former President Donald Trump during Trump’s second impeachment trial. Michael Whatley, the state party chairman, said the central committee’s decision serves as a symbolic gesture of the party‘s opposition to Burr‘s action.

BEHIND THE DEEP STATE

Chastain: CDC Admits It Based School Guidelines on Teacher Input and Stakeholders
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) admitted during a press conference that it based its new school guidelines on science, but also input from teachers and stakeholders. No wonder the guidelines pretty much give unions and schools an excuse to not return to in-person learning. It’s weird how one week officials say schools should reopen and the next they come up with every excuse to keep it all closed. The bipartisan group Open Fairfax County Public Schools in Virginia found a few interesting tidbits in the transcript of a press conference with the CDC.

Sundance: Lee Smith Nails It, The Elites “Want Us To Know” They Hold all Power and Control
Adam Townsend had a great podcast interview with journalist Lee Smith last week, and for the first time Smith eloquently hit on something CTH has discussed for several years. The “elites” writ large are so open in their current proclamations of being beyond reach, because they want us to know their power removes them from any accountability. Often we see people ask ‘why are they so openly admitting to their wrongdoing’? Within the answer I have written frequently ‘they simply do not care’… It is not a sense of boundless hypocrisy that drives them to showcase their disconnect, the disconnect is purposefully part of the ideological advancement of their goal. The question “do the elites care if we know” is accurately answered by “they want people to know.” The outlook that elites are hypocritical is the wrong nuance to what is visible. Their openness about their untouchable constructs is part of their purpose.

Unruh: Biden admin gets sued for details of Swalwell’s China connection
The American Center for Law and Justice is suing the federal government to obtain information about Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell’s ties to a Chinese spy. Lawsuits already have been filed against the National Security Agency, the office of the director of national intelligence and the State Department. And preparations are under way to bring the FBI into court. “President Biden’s Deep State agencies are already refusing to cooperate with us to expose government corruption, even with our national security at risk,” the ACLJ said. […] House Speaker Nancy Pelosi admitted she was aware of the relationship but said she has “no concerns” about it.

2020 ELECTION

Tennyson: Rotten ‘Uncertified’ Election Audit in Maricopa AZ: Cameras Go Down…Lax Digital and Physical Security…USB Drives Inserted Run 9 Hours of Commands in Machines
We previously reported that the Maricopa County, Arizona had finally agreed to an election audit. The terms were vague and we expected the audit to be a disaster. Well, Maricopa County did not disappoint! Screenshots taken from the scene show the Wi-fi network was renamed “f*ckyou!” while observers showed up outside of the facility where the so-called audit was taking place to check for irregularities, including WiFi connections. The Gateway Pundit is reporting that Maricopa County allowed the same Board of Supervisors responsible for all of the alleged fraud to choose and hire uncertified auditors to handle the certified audit. […] But that isn’t all. According to their report, they routinely didn’t follow any audit procedure–including ignorance or contempt for security procedures, as well as leaving wi-fi networks open with video game consoles attached to them. The Gateway Pundit goes on: . . .

ELECTRIC GRID BASICS

Secure the Grid: The electric grid is essential to all of our lives
Every human being in the U.S. is literally on life support – plugged in to the electric grid. If somebody unplugs us, everything necessary to sustain our human population stops: food, water, fuel, transportation, medical, communications, financial—everything. The electric grid is vulnerable to numerous threats and we know (from this Senate report) that in a long-term national-scale blackout, millions of U.S. citizens could die. After only a few weeks, we would die in droves from waterborne diseases, starvation and societal collapse. And what if the grid went down for longer than a few weeks? But let’s back up. What is the electric grid and how is it regulated? What is the electric grid? First of all, the North American electric grid is an amazing human accomplishment. It is the largest machine in the history of the world, built piece by piece over many generations. But what is it exactly? The bulk power system—or “the grid”—is actually over a thousand companies, both public and private sector, that operate in an interconnected system to facilitate the generation, transmission and distribution of electrical power. (No one company owns “the grid”—literally thousands own pieces of it!) The grid is made up of power generation—such as nuclear, coal and gas-fired power plants, wind turbines and solar farms, high voltage transmission lines that span long distances across the country and local distribution lines which bring the power from the street to your house. (Click HERE for a graphic representation of the grid.) This interconnected—and vulnerable—patchwork . . . How is the grid regulated? . . . Who funds and controls NERC? . . . Who pays for the lobbyists who fight against electric grid security? . . . What Can We Do To Secure The Grid? . . .

CHINA: AMERICA’S MORTAL ENEMY

War Room Pandemic: Electric Grid Attack Could Kill 90% of U.S. Population
Frank Gaffney warns of the dangers of the Biden regime opening up America’s electric grid to China: 90% of the population would be wiped out in an EMP attack.

Winters: Chinese Communist Party Using LinkedIn To Gather ‘State Secrets’
“Spies are creating fake business profiles on the professional networking site so that they can identify targets and obtain classified information. Sources warn that they have offered lucrative business opportunities and enticing sums of money to lure present and former government and private sector workers with access to classified information or commercially sensitive technology,” The Times summarizes. The story highlights the experience of 56-year-old Phillip Ingram, a former colonel specializing in cyberintelligence work and chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear weapons, conversing with an account under the name of “Robin”; . . .

CLIMATE CRISIS: IT’S POLITICAL

Greenfield: Snow Takes Down Green Energy Wind Turbines and Solar Panels In US and the World
Green Energy is a government-subsidized scam. We know what works. Oil, coal, gas, and nuclear. The latter is as clean as energy gets until we get to cold fusion. Or just beam down energy from orbit. Wind turbines and solar panels fail. And their failures are inevitable. They’re neither clear nor reliable.
And, outside California and a few southwestern states that have lots of sunshine and limited inclement weather, the environment doesn’t even exist to sustain them. Democrats keep pushing them, in no small part because they stand to profit and because an unreliable and expensive energy grid is one way to get people to use less power, with disastrous results. Nearly half of Texas’ installed wind power generation capacity has been offline because of frozen wind turbines in West Texas, according to Texas grid operators. […] That’s Texas. Meanwhile, over in Colorado, solar panels weren’t working all that well in the snow. Neither were the wind turbines in Wyoming. […] Meanwhile, over in Europe, the world’s capital of green energy is snowed in. […] this is what the Biden administration wants to inflict on the entire country . . . [NOTE: Texas has a quarter of America’s natural gas reserves. Following the winter storm, more than 2 million Texans do not have power.]
