The lawsuit was filed in the Arizona Supreme Court on Friday, February 25th, seeking to ban unconstitutional drop boxes and no-excuse mail-in voting. It will also require the Arizona Secretary of State to include signature verification guidelines in the Arizona Elections Procedures Manual. Lake’s amicus brief serves to assist the court by providing more insights into how no-excuse absentee voting and absentee drop boxes can be abused by the unscrupulous. The Arizona Constitution clearly states that voting must take place in person, at the polls, on a fixed date, and this was previously found by the court to be true.
Lake further provides clear evidence that no excuse mail-in voting and drop boxes are unconstitutional, unnecessary, and provide unique opportunities to rig our elections.

Townsend: County GOP calls for election administrator to be fired after 10,000 mail-in ballots are “found” days past election
The first primary election day for the 2022 midterm elections did not go well in Texas, at least in the state’s largest county. Harris County Elections Administrator Isabel Longoria reported that 10,000 mail-in ballots were not properly counted in last week’s primary election in Houston. Calls for her to be fired continue to grow. The position of Elections Administrator didn’t exist in Harris County, the third-largest county in the country, until 2020. The position was created by Harris County Commissioners Court on a 3-2 party-line vote. At the time, Republicans criticized the move, arguing that it would create a new powerful role with no accountability to voters. And, here we are. Voters still don’t have final numbers in some primary races one week later. {NOTE: The election commissioner resigned.]

Berrien: UK Says Russia Confirms Use Of Thermobaric Weapons In Ukraine
According to the British Ministry of Defense, Russia confirmed it indeed has used thermobaric weapons, also known as “vacuum bombs,” against the Ukrainian people. A “Vacuum bomb” uses oxygen from the surrounding air to generate a high-temperature explosion. It creates “a blast wave that lasts far longer than conventional explosives,” Fox News noted, adding, “Pentagon Press Secretary John Kirby, meanwhile, said Wednesday afternoon that he has seen ‘no indications’ that Russia has used thermobaric weapons in Ukraine.”

Heritage Foundation found that the bill would send taxpayer funds to Planned Parenthood.

The Biden Administration stopped all gas and oil production in the ANWR region of Alaska. It ended all new federal leases for drilling. It is cancelling major new pipelines. It is leveraging lending agencies not to finance oil and gas drilling. It helped force the cancellation of the EastMed pipeline that would have brought needed natural gas to southern Europe. And it has in just a year managed to turn the greatest oil and gas producer in the history of the world into a pathetic global fossil-fuel beggar. Now gas is heading to well over $5 a gallon. In overregulated blue states, it will likely hit $7. The result is left-wing terror that the voters in the coming midterm election might rightly blame Democrats for hamstringing the American ability to travel, keep warm in winter and cool in summer, and buy affordable food. But how will the Biden Administration square the circle of its own ideological war against oil and natural gas versus handing the advantage to our oil- and gas-producing enemies, as Russia invades Ukraine? As if America’s current economic malaise didn’t create enough problems, several reports demonstrate how Democrats’ agenda for single-payer health care would make it worse. The reports by the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) quantify the ways single-payer would result in lower economic growth and a reduced labor supply. The analyses reinforce the notion that progressives’ “equity” agenda won’t raise lower-income citizens’ proverbial boats so much as drop all Americans into a lifestyle of stagnation. The reports, the most recent of which was released in late February, follow up on an initial volume released in December 2020. That 200-plus page CBO analysis concluded that, among other things, all options the budget office examined would create an increased demand for care that the single-payer system could not meet, leading to government rationing of health care. As with the earlier report, CBO analyzed five separate theoretical single-payer health systems, to determine their various effects: One with comparatively high reimbursement levels (for doctors, hospitals, and drugs) and high cost-sharing (e.g., deductibles and co-payments); one with low reimbursement levels and high cost-sharing; one with high reimbursement levels and minimal cost-sharing; and one with low reimbursement levels and minimal cost-sharing. A fifth option included coverage of long-term supports and services (LTSS), whether provided in institutions (i.e., nursing homes) or in the home.

Farley: Russia’s Nightmare Comes True: Germany’s Military Is Back
Last week, German Chancellor Olag Scholz made a shocking announcement, declaring that Germany would massively increase its defense spending in response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine. If Berlin carries this plan out, German rearmament may be the most significant geopolitical consequence of Russia’s unprovoked aggression. Upon its establishment, the Federal Republic of Germany was prohibited from fielding armed forces. It soon became evident, however, that NATO would require German troops in order to defend the central front from Warsaw Pact forces. Re-arming Germany was deeply controversial even in Western Europe (especially France), but in 1955 the Bundeswehr was brought into existence. The Bundeswehr reached nearly half a million men and had that reputation of fielding the best ground forces in Europe. By the 1980s it formed a critical part of the NATO plan to meet and defeat a Warsaw Pact attack in Central Europe, rather than retreat to the English Channel or rely on strategic nuclear weapons.
