On Feb. 3, long-time Trump associate Felix Sater filed a cross-complaint in a New York federal court. The complaint alleges that Russian and Kazakhstan-connected individuals and entities conducted “a shadow intelligence operation of Sater and Trump for the purpose of manufacturing information to harm Donald Trump politically,” including by providing Christopher Steele a PowerPoint presentation riddled with lies Steele later fed to the FBI. Sater’s cross suit comes nearly three years after the City of Almaty, Kazakhstan, and BTA Bank filed suit against Sater, two of the companies he owned, a former business associate, and that associate’s LLCs, in City of Almaty, Kazakhstan v. Sater. In that lawsuit, filed in May 2019, Almaty and BTA Bank alleged that Sater and the other defendants helped Mukhtar Ablyazov, the former chairman of the BTA Bank, and Viktor Khrapunov, the former mayor of the City of Almaty, launder money the duo had stolen from the plaintiffs. In the case, the plaintiffs sought recovery of millions of dollars in stolen funds, based on claims of fraud, conspiracy, unjust enrichment, and conversion. Judicial Watch is challenging an attempt by the U.S Capitol Police to block the watchdog organization’s federal lawsuit to gain access to videos and emails related to the Jan. 6 Capitol riot. Congress, via the police department, is arguing that the videos and emails being sought are not matters of public record and that there is no public interest in their release. Furthermore, the body is claiming that sovereign immunity prevents citizens from suing for their release.

Michael Myers explained that he made the mistake of marking his race as “white” on medical intake paperwork rather than “Hispanic” — in part due to his complexion, mixed with the fact that he was raised to not think of himself as Hispanic. “Had I put that I was Hispanic they probably would’ve gave [the monoclonal antibodies] to me,” said Myers. “I lost four days [of treatment] getting sicker and sicker. MSNBC is trying to scare parents into unnecessarily vaccinating their kids against COVID-19. Pfizer hopes to get their COVID vaccine approved by the FDA for kids five and younger, and former Obama White House policy advisor Dr. Zeke Emanuel appeared on the left-wing network and claimed that vaccinating kids against COVID is a “no brainer.” Host Kristen Welker cited a poll showing that, while 31% of parents of kids five and younger will get their kids vaccinated right away, 29% will “wait and see,” and 25% said “definitely not.” Emanuel blamed parents for being scared of potential side effects before falsely claiming, “With the omicron variant, kids are either going to get the vaccine or they’re likely to get a serious condition of omicron.”

When I’m in China, I’m Chinese.” Apparently, Gu, whose father is American and mother a Chinese immigrant, identifies as nationality fluid.
But since not everyone believes (not yet, anyway) the internationalist fancy that nationality is a spectrum, Wu’s decision has evoked some expected criticism, with many calling her a traitor. Yet Beijing doesn’t call Gu — who goes by “Gu Ailing” in China — anything but an opportunity. […] The Manchurian Candidate, alluded to in my title, is a 1962 film about an American soldier captured during the Korean War and then programmed (brainwashed) by the Chinese to become an unwitting tool of Cold War-era Marxists. Gu has been similarly programmed — but by enemies much closer to home. Ginsberg: US Government Left As Many As 9,000 American Citizens In Afghanistan After Withdrawal, Senate Report Reveals
In public statements, Biden administration officials, including Secretary of State Antony Blinken, claimed that only 100-150 Americans remained in Afghanistan and had contacted the U.S. government with a desire to leave. The State Department and Defense Department officials stuck to that number, even as the government publicly admitted that large numbers of American citizens were still leaving the country. The report, signed by Foreign Relations ranking member Jim Risch of Idaho, reveals that State Department officials believed that between 10,000 and 15,000 Americans were in Afghanistan as late as Aug. 17. In the next two weeks, only 6,000 Americans were able to escape the country ahead of the Taliban takeover.

Deficiencies at the US Department of Health and Human Services put the department at “high risk” of failing to respond to future public health threats as the department’s response to the Covid-19 pandemic highlighted longstanding concerns, the US Government Accountability Office, the government watchdog agency, said Thursday. The GAO placed the department’s leadership and coordination of public health emergencies on a list of high-risk federal programs and operations that are “vulnerable to abuse, mismanagement, fraud, or waste, or need an overall transformation.” Within HHS, a variety of agencies are involved, including the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the US Food and Drug Administration and the Office of the US Surgeon General.

After the radical leftists in San Francisco who operate GoFundMe seized millions of dollars from the Canadian “Freedom Convoy” and vowed to refund donations to donors (upon request) or disburse the funds to “credible charities” (like Black Lives Matter, Greenpeace, and Planned Parenthood Matter), the internet went absolutely mental Friday night about the crowd-sourcing platform’s decision. Rebel News’ Ezra Levant equated GoFundMe’s decision as “stealing the money.” He said the crowd-sourcing platform should have “automatically refunded its donors.” Hours later, around 0200 ET Saturday, GoFundMe released another statement that said, “due to donor feedback, we are simplifying the process and automatically refunding donations.” The audacity that leftists at GoFundMe thought they could redistribute the money elsewhere is shocking. It is a wake-up call for freedom-loving people who band together to take their funding operations elsewhere (ever hear of BTC or ETH?). GoFundMe’s poor judgment to only now automatically refund donors has shown their true liberal colors (this blunder has sparked a trust issue with the platform).
