Prager: The (Crappy) Year We Just Lived Through
As this is my last column of 2021, I thought it would be worthwhile to review some of the most important observations I made over the course of an awful year. I hope you agree, and wish you — and our country — a happier New Year.
JAN. 5: These past few years have taught me not to so quickly judge the quiet Germans, Russians, etc. Of course, I still judge Germans who helped the Nazis and Germans who in any way hurt Jews. But the Germans who did nothing? Not so fast. What has changed my thinking has been watching what is happening in America (and Canada and Australia and elsewhere, for that matter). The ease with which tens of millions of Americans have accepted irrational, unconstitutional and unprecedented police-state-type restrictions on their freedoms, including even the freedom to make a living, has been, to understate the case, sobering.

Taylor Budowich – Director of Communications for Save America and President Donald J. Trump – released a statement after the unconstitutional January 6th Committee sent a subpoena to JP Morgan Chase for his banking records. “Democracy is under attack. However, not by the people who illegally entered the Capitol on January 6th, 2021, but instead by a committee whose members walk freely in its halls every day. After complying completely with the Committee, including sitting for a four-hour deposition on December 22nd, I returned home on December 23rd only to find a notice from my banking institution, JP Morgan Chase, that they’d be handing over my banking records to the committee if I did not provide a court-ordered stoppage by December 24th. To add to the absurdity, neither the committee nor JP Morgan Chase will provide me with a copy of the actual contents of the subpoena. By circumventing my Constitutionally-protected rights, this Committee is only proving one thing: the Constitution only applies if your political party is in charge.

Turley: Ashley Biden’s Diary: Will The FBI Raid The New York Times?
The Christmas Eve order for the New York Times to return confidential legal material from the conservative publication, Project Veritas, has led many to decry the imposition of a “prior restraint” on the media. I joined in expressing those concerns about courts preventing a news publication and then ordering the return of material sent by a source. That issue will be now be addressed in the courts. One question, however, remains:  when will the FBI raid the home of New York Times publisher, A.G. Sulzberger? That is what the Justice Department did when Project Veritas was given the diary of President Joe Biden’s daughter, Ashley – the subject of the New York Times story. They raided the home and seized the confidential communications of the founder of Project Veritas, James O’Keefe, as well as others associated with this publication.
Of course, Project Veritas is hardly popular with many in the media as an outfit known for ambush journalism. Yet, both publications were given stolen or abandoned confidential material. The difference in response appears based on source of the material and the political orientation of the publication.

CDC Director Rochelle Wolensky Attempts to Retain Collapsing COVID Narrative Surrounding Changes to Guidance
Earlier today CDC Director Wolensky spoke to several stenographers about the changes.  On ABC she stated there was no recommendation to “test out” of quarantine after five days because the CDC is now admitting the PCR tests are useless.  As she stated “PCR tests can stay positive for up to 12 weeks” after the infection.  This is an issue now because the politics of the quarantine has changed. In another interview the CNN stenographer, now sensing the dam collapsing, asked directly if this shift in quarantine guidance was due to the “business” or economic impacts of COVID as it relates to the ever-shifting science.

They are being held hostage and segregated from loved ones. And the reason is money. Let’s start by examining what the Arlington School Board is considering. Its preliminary proposal calls for the following:  . . . […] . . .  it is clear from the video, described by some viewers as “extremely bizarre,” that the university found them both guilty of the harassment, and their punishment included both a warning and instructions to write a 3-page paper on how to better speak to white people about issues like race, oppression, etc. It appears from the video that both students have learned nothing from the incident and intend to be more militant instead of less.  The new video begins with . . . […]  There has never been any evidence suggesting either victim was a white supremacist or a neo-Nazi.  In fact, other than being white men, their victims’ only other offense appeared to be a Police Matter sticker on a laptop and a soda cup from Chik-Fil-A. Block: Whatever Happened to the Boy Scouts?
It was once an honor to earn a merit badge in the Boy Scouts. Becoming a Star Scout was a privilege, a Life Scout was something fantastic, and an Eagle Scout was the very tip of the apex. Few achieved that pinnacle, and those who did treasured it for their entire lives. But even those who didn’t attain these levels were still enriched by the Boy Scouts via lessons in life skills and teamwork. Sadly, the Boy Scouts of America filed for bankruptcy on Feb. 18, 2020. First formed in 1910, this organization was once one of the most popular institutions in the entire country. Why its demise? The simple answer is that the Boy Scouts succumbed to the threats of political correctness and wokesterism, particularly through the acceptance of homosexuality and feminism. There were more than 92,000 cases filed against the Boy Scouts for sexual abuse.
