Our opponents are seeking to frighten the country by telling people that the present Administration is deliberately … drifting into war. You know better than that.” FDR told the New York Herald Tribune Forum, October 26, 1939: “The United States of America, as I have said before, is neutral and does not intend to get involved in war.” […] While FDR was making campaign promises, most of the world was pulled into war. There were either part of the Allied Powers in support of freedom, or part of the Axis Power in support of dictatorships in Germany’s National Socialist Workers Party, Japan’s Imperial Empire, and Italy’s Facist Party. Nations entered World War II in rapid succession: . . . […] Franklin D. Roosevelt told the Teamsters Union Convention, September 11, 1940: “I stand, with my party … on the platform … adopted in Chicago … It said: ‘We will not participate in foreign wars, and we will not send our Army, naval or air forces to fight in foreign lands outside of the Americas, EXCEPT IN CASE OF ATTACK.’” On DECEMBER 7, 1941, America was attacked. Upon Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, descended 350 Japanese aircraft, which sank 5 American battleships and 3 destroyers. 400 U.S. aircraft were destroyed. Over 4,000 were killed or wounded. Investigations afterwards revealed that warnings may have been disregarded.

Ciccio: Big Food says the ‘transition’ to the new world order food system is already well underway
A coalition of the World’s largest multi-national corporations is working to manipulate you into eating more “equitable” food though a business strategy designed to help major “food players” and other large businesses facilitate “the coming food systems transition.” They plan to do so with the help of a new strategy that assesses the supposed morality of individual food items and uses that metric to make business decisions and levy performance reviews. The World Business Council for Sustainable Development calls itself “the premier global, CEO-led community of over 200 of the world’s leading sustainable businesses working collectively to accelerate the system transformations needed for a net zero, nature positive, and more equitable future.” In addition to food industry giants like Kellogg’s and Nestle, WBCSD’s member list includes Big Tech players —Apple, Google, Microsoft, etc. Many of the groups’ most prominent members are also members of the World Economic Forum, which highlighted the initiative in a recent post on its own website.

Pullmann: Report: The CIA Caught Employees Molesting Children And Didn’t Prosecute Them
The Central Intelligence Agency found evidence indicating at least 10 employees had committed sex crimes with children in the past 14 years, yet only one was charged with a crime, according to a recent BuzzFeed report based on the results of open records lawsuits. Except for that one, “Prosecutors sent the rest of the cases back to the CIA to handle internally, meaning few faced any consequences beyond the possible loss of their jobs and security clearances. That marks a striking deviation from how sex crimes involving children have been handled at other federal agencies such as the Department of Homeland Security and the Drug Enforcement Administration. CIA insiders say the agency resists prosecution of its staff for fear the cases will reveal state secrets,” says BuzzFeed. This study, to best of our knowledge, was the first to provide ivermectin‐regulated virus‐related pathways by SILAC quantitative proteomics analysis, which revealed a broad‐spectrum antiviral property of ivermectin. More exciting thing was that the identified ivermectin‐regulated proteins included some reported SARS‐CoV‐2‐related proteins, and it could assist in exploiting potential ivermectin‐related biomarkers and the novel mechanisms in the treatment of SARS‐CoV‐2 infection. The combination of ivermectin with other drugs might result in more favorable prognoses for patients with COVID‐19. For example, one study hypothesized that the combination of hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin might show a consequential and synergistic action for treatment of COVID‐19 (Patrì & Fabbrocini, 2020). We anticipate our results to guide efforts to understand the molecular mechanisms underlying ivermectin used for the treatment of SARS‐CoV‐2 infection. Furthermore, our findings provide insight into the development of ivermectin as an option for the treatment of COVID‐19 in the context of PPPM research and practice.

A physician and medical researcher who is suing his Virginia hospital for preventing him from treating COVID-19 patients with effective drugs that have become politically charged said his effort is on behalf of physicians across the United States and around the world whose relationship with their patients has been sabotaged. Dr. Paul Marik, a professor at Eastern Virginia Medical School, said it’s “completely outrageous” that the hospital in Norfolk where he serves as ICU director is telling physicians what they can prescribe and not prescribe, violating the doctor-patient relationship and the Hippocratic Oath. “This is really unprecedented in the world,” . . . Before the invention of PCR, the gold standard for detecting viruses was to grow them in a culture of living cells and count damaged cells using a microscope. The disadvantage of cell cultures is they need highly skilled technicians and can take weeks to complete. The advantage is they only count living viruses that multiply and damage cells. Dead virus fragments that do neither are automatically discounted. The invention of PCR in 1983 was a game changer. Instead of waiting for viruses to grow naturally, PCR rapidly multiplies tiny amounts of viral DNA exponentially in a series of heating and cooling cycles that can be automated and completed in less than an hour. PCR revolutionised molecular biology but its most notable application was in genetic fingerprinting, where its ability to magnify even the smallest traces of DNA became a major weapon in the fight against crime. But, like a powerful magnifying glass or zoom lens, if it’s powerful enough to find a needle in a haystack it’s powerful enough to make mountains out of molehills.

The curb in deportations extended to all types of illegal immigrants living in the United States, including those with criminal convictions. Deportations of illegal immigrants with convictions for crimes such as aggravated assault, kidnapping, sexual assault, and homicide fell by double-digit percentages in the first six months of 2021 when compared with the previous two years. The number of illegal immigrants with serious criminal convictions deported declined by more than 50 percent from 2020 and 65 percent from 2019. Moran: Joe Manchin Does It Again
Senator Joe Manchin announced he would join all 50 Republicans in the Senate in voting for a resolution of disapproval that would roll back the OSHA vaccine mandate. The Congressional Review Act (CRA) allows for a majority of Congress to disapprove of any agency rule. Since the CRA vote is in the form of a resolution, only a simple majority is needed in the Senate to pass it. The CRA would still have to be approved in the House where several Democrats have said they’re considering voting for it. And even if it’s passed by both chambers, Biden would almost certainly veto it. But it would be a powerful statement to make prior to a Supreme Court ruling on the case.

Last Wednesday, a prominent Los Angeles philanthropist was shot to death by a career criminal who was robbing her Beverly Hills home. The victim was Jacqueline Avant, wife of Clarence Avant, a Grammy Award-winning music executive who is known as the “Godfather of Black Music.” The man accused of the murder is Aariel Maynor, 29. He was arrested during a second burglary in which he accidentally shot himself in the foot. Beverly Hills Police Chief Mark Stainbrook said Maynor was on parole at the time of the slaying. Stainbrook added that Maynor has an “extensive criminal history.” That he does. Indeed, his criminal history is such that in a properly functioning justice system, Maynor wouldn’t have been able to kill Jacqueline Avant. He would have been in prison.
