NOTABLE QUOTES

Jake Sullivan Biden’s National Security Advisor: “I think one of the errors of previous approaches to policy towards China has been a view that through U.S. policy, we would bring about a fundamental transformation of the Chinese system. That is not the object of the Biden administration.”

Don Feder contributor to Frontpage Magazine: Biden’s meeting with the Pope notwithstanding, the Democrats don’t believe in God. They see themselves as shaping human destiny.

Christopher Roach contributor to American Greatness: Whether from the Right or the Left, the constant mantras of caution eventually cede all power and initiative to a hostile state. It is an ethic of weakness and humiliation, the opposite of the Spirit of 1776. At every possible opportunity for courageous civic engagement—a letter to the editor, appearing at a protest, making a donation, or simply refusing to utter lies—there is always a choice to be made between cautious cowardice and civic-minded courage. The recent explosion of “cancel culture” has only thrived, in part, because of the neutered agreeableness and abject fear that has become the national norm.

Brian C. Joondeph, M.D. contributor to American Thinker: Power is addictive, an aphrodisiac to those charged with representing their people. Now it’s vaccines, but what next? Once a population is compliant, beaten down by fear and shame, they are less likely to resist present and future controls, regardless of founding documents or natural law. Law enforcement and the military can squash any pockets of rebellion, as we know from history, whether Hitler’s Germany, Stalin’s USSR, or Mao’s China.

Renee Parsons contributor to American Thinker: Today’s scientism has become a world of political regimentation and medical tyranny based on “trust the experts” as it shuts down debate and threatens those professionals who dare question government sanctions.  In addition, the CDC has deceitfully appropriated itself as the official legal enforcer of arbitrary unscientific principles as if Americans were required to unquestioningly obey its every directive, with no validating justification.  At the same time, scientism allows local dictatorial health departments to overstep their authority as the State concedes its legal influence to unelected bureaucrats.

Dan Gelernter contributor to American Greatness: . . . because I believe that getting vaccinated would be bad for myself and bad for society, I have chosen ostracization instead. It’s lucky they made me watch all those films about peer pressure in high school. Because I have never in my adult life—or even in high school—experienced peer pressure like this. No one is trying to persuade me that the vaccine is good for me. Only that I just need to take it or else. But I know how to handle myself when someone tries to force drugs on me: I just say no.

Bari Weiss contributor to Commentary: It is our duty to resist the crowd in this age of mob thinking. It is our duty to think freely in an age of conformity. It is our duty to speak truth in an age of lies. This bravery isn’t the last or only step in opposing this revolution—it’s just the first.

Joe Cunningham contributor to RedState: Democrats are going to try to adopt new mitigation efforts. Not against COVID, mind you, but against parent backlash over the public school system.

John Horvat II contributor to CNS News: . . .the real reason why liberals want to end the Culture War is that it frames the debate as a moral battle. The left cannot tolerate definitions of right and wrong. They cannot handle moral arguments that fittingly showcase their unruly passions. The Culture War deniers try to wish the nightmare away.

Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) delivering the keynote address for a First Amendment award given by the Saint Anselm College’s Institute of Politics in New Hampshire: “We are also confronting a domestic threat that we have never faced before: A former president who’s attempting to unravel the foundations of our constitutional republic, aided by political leaders, who have made themselves willing hostages to this dangerous and irrational man.”

TO LIVE IN FREEDOM OR IN FEAR IS A CHOICE

Weiss: We Got Here Because of Cowardice. We Get Out With Courage
Say no to the Woke Revolution. A lot of people want to convince you that you need a Ph.D. or a law degree or dozens of hours of free time to read dense texts about critical theory to understand the woke movement and its worldview. You do not. You simply need to believe your own eyes and ears. […]  Ideas are replaced with identity. Forgiveness is replaced with punishment. Debate is replaced with de-platforming. Diversity is replaced with homogeneity of thought. Inclusion, with exclusion. In this ideology, speech is violence. But violence, when carried out by the right people in pursuit of a just cause, is not violence at all. In this ideology, bullying is wrong, unless you are bullying the right people, in which case it’s very, very good. In this ideology, education is not about teaching people how to think, it’s about reeducating them in what to think. In this ideology, the need to feel safe trumps the need to speak truthfully. […]  What we call “cancel culture” is really the justice system of this revolution. And the goal of the cancellations is not merely to punish the person being cancelled. The goal is to send a message to everyone else: Step out of line and you are next. It has worked. […]  But there is one word we should linger on, because every moment of radical victory turned on it. The word is cowardice.

Roach: Citizenship and Courage
The world is better for young men like Kyle Rittenhouse defending their communities. In recent weeks, a series of high-profile criminal cases stemming from private citizens acting to protect their communities have been in the spotlight. A young Kyle Rittenhouse worked with other volunteers to protect Kenosha, Wisconsin from violent Antifa and BLM rioters. He ended up being attacked and defended himself from a violent mob, killing two and wounding one in the process. In Georgia, a father and son, frustrated by a series of thefts, tried to stop a suspected burglar, Ahmaud Arbery. Arbery ended up charging them and reached for the son’s gun, only to be shot dead in the melee. One man’s courage is another man’s rash vigilantism. Critics say Rittenhouse and the McMichaels were stupid and full of bloodlust for getting involved, and should have left these matters to the professionals. This cautionary message is widespread and does not come exclusively from the LeftThe Managerial Regime Citizen Professional civil service and bureaucratic systems are the foundations of the managerial state. This system justifies itself because of the perceived benefits of specialization, professionalization of government tasks, and jealous guarding of bureaucratic turf, similar to private-sector unions. The extensive state bureaucracy encourages a different relationship between the state and its citizens. Under this system, citizens are . . . […]  Alexis de Tocqueville observed that the great genius of Americans came from the people’s capacity for organization and problem solving without the need for official intervention, in contrast to continental Europe. “In the United States, as soon as several inhabitants have taken an opinion or an idea they . . .[..] Republican Virtues To flourish, a republican system needs more than voting, but also patriotism, public-spiritedness, and courage.

JOHN DURHAM INVESTIGATION

Mordock: Jake Sullivan outed as ‘foreign policy adviser’ in Durham indictment: Report
White House National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan is the “foreign policy adviser” identified in special counsel John Durham’s indictment of Democratic lawyer Michael Sussmann, according to a report Tuesday. The revelation, reported by Fox News, is significant because it is the strongest connection Mr. Durham has made linking the Clinton campaign, the Biden administration and the spread of the false Trump-Russia collusion story.

Winters: REVEALED: CDC, NIH Officials Were EcoHealth ‘Partners’ During Controversial Wuhan Gain Of Function Collaborations.
EcoHealth Alliance – the research group using funds from Anthony Fauci’s National Institutes of Health agency to work with the Wuhan Institute of Virology – counted several high-ranking American government officials as research partners during its controversial collaboration with the Chinese Communist Party-run lab. The unearthed affiliation follows the National Institutes of Health (NIH) admitting the New York-based nonprofit carried out gain of function research with the Chinese military-linked Wuhan lab and failed to report its findings to the federal agency. Gain of function research, which counts support from EcoHealth Alliance President Peter Daszak, increases the virulence, lethality, and transmissibility of viruses including bat coronaviruses. Daszak has previously described the viruses he and his Chinese colleagues were manipulating as “killers” in video unearthed by The National Pulse. […]  Three officials from the CDC are listed as active “partners” of EcoHealth Alliance along with one NIH official on the group’s website.

Mittelstadt: Watchdog group says 2020 ballot images destroyed in 74 Georgia counties
Images of ballots are crucial for election records and are required by both federal and state law to be retained for 22 months and 24 months, respectively. The images automatically created by the Dominion voting system for in-person ballots are on compact flash memory cards, while mail-in ballot images are on memory flash drives. The drives or cards are later manually uploaded to the Election Management Server in the county, and the more densely populated ones use high speed scanners to directly transfer images to the Election Management Server. “At least 28 counties admitted having no original images at all and 22 of those counties only had recount images that some claimed are the same as originals,” According to VoterGA.

2021 ELECTION UPDATE

Shepherd: 113 School Board Candidates Supported by ‘Back To School’ PAC Win Races
Back to School PA — a political action committee borne out of a mother’s frustrations with school boards refusing to allow for in-classroom learning in fall 2020 — says 113 out of 182 candidates that the PAC supported won their races Tuesday. The PAC is still waiting for the results of 33 school board elections in six Montgomery County districts, which are not expected until Saturday. Setting aside the outstanding Montgomery races, the PAC had a 62 percent win rate for the candidates it supported in 55 school districts across Pennsylvania, according to a spreadsheet it shared with Broad + Liberty. The PAC only supported candidates who prioritize ensuring schools do not halt in-person instruction.

THE DEMOCRAT PARTY HAS SEIZED CONTROL OF THE MEDICAL PROFESSION

Olson: American Medical Association pushes pro-critical race theory materials in ‘Health Equity’ guide
The American Medical Association recently released a guide on “Advancing Health Equity” that promotes how to fight for critical race theory, includes a list of words not to say and their “equity-focused alternatives,” and criticizes concepts like “meritocracy,” “individualism” and the “‘free’ market.” The 55-page document released on Oct. 28 cites a guide by the organization Race Forward for how to advocate for critical race theory (CRT), which is called “Guide to Counter-Narrating the Attacks on Critical Race Theory.” The health equity guide argues physicians cannot eliminate “health inequities” by “focus[ing] only on individuals, their behavior or their biology.” It says they instead must focus on language and collective political circumstances of certain groups. BIDEN’S UNCONSTITUTIONAL VACCINE MANDATES

Weston: Crazy spike in young athletes dying: Former Pfizer VP sounds the alarm.
You might be wondering why have there been so many news stories, even coming from mainstream media sites, which report young people including athletes suddenly dying or having injuries? Former VP at Pfizer, Dr. Michael Yeadon connects this sudden increase in youth deaths and injuries directly to the COVID jabs. Watch the 20 minute video at Life Sight News.

Children’s Health Defense Team: Gov. Newsom Injured by Moderna Booster Shot, Source Tells The Defende
A source close to California Gov. Gavin Newsom today told The Defender the governor experienced an adverse reaction to the Moderna COVID vaccine he received Oct. 27, the last day he was seen in public. The source, who asked not to be identified, said Newsom’s symptoms were similar to those associated with Guillain–Barré syndrome (GBS), a known side effect of many vaccines. […] Commenting on the situation, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., chairman of Children’s Health Defense, today said he “prays for Newsom’s family” and wishes him a quick recovery. Kennedy added: “However, if it’s true the governor has suffered debilitating neurological injuries following vaccination, it raises grave ethical questions about his seemingly dishonest efforts to conceal his injuries while implementing aggressive policies to force the children and working people of California to endure similar risks.” […] The latest data from the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System show that between Dec. 14, 2020, and Oct. 29, 2021, there were 705 reports of GBS following COVID vaccines, with 41% of cases attributed to Pfizer, 31% to Moderna and 28% to J&J.

Gelernter: Life Without the Vaccine
I’d expected the “pro-vaxxers” would try to show me that getting the vaccine was the best thing for my health. Instead, what I heard was: “It’s probably safe, but get it anyway! Society’s health is more important than your health! If you don’t get this shot, you want everyone to die!” I’ve heard logical arguments before, and this isn’t one. I’ve also heard Marxist arguments before: Subordinate your will to the good of society, as directed by “the experts.” The experts, in this case, are doctors, who recently have been promoted to godlike status. It is unfortunate then, that I couldn’t find a single pro-vax doctor willing to admit that we can not know what the long-term effects of a new drug will be until we’ve had a chance to observe the effects over a long term. This concept is so simple it’s tautological: We need a long time before we know what will happen over a long time. But all I heard from doctors when I mentioned this was, “It’s safe.” When asked, “How do you know?” All I got was, “Because the FDA says so.” […] As long as we don’t have to worry about maxing out our hospitals, getting the vaccine when you’re in a low-risk group is actually bad for society. You may still catch COVID, and you’ll be just as contagious as the unvaccinated. But because you don’t have symptoms, instead of staying at home and resting, you’ll go to work, you’ll hang out with friends, and you’ll spread the disease. That the doctor I last discussed the vaccine with didn’t know this, or wouldn’t admit it, raises serious questions. First, . . . Second, . . . Third, . . .[…] The damage will be done, and there will be no undoing it. When the vaccine first came out, I was uncertain, but willing to be persuaded. Now I am persuaded: With each passing day, I’m increasingly relieved that I didn’t get the vaccine. This has caused other complications, of a societally imposed nature, . . .

BIDEN/HARRIS/OBAMA REGIME: TRANSFORMING AMERICA

Bonchie: The Latest Inflation Numbers Will Have You Punching Walls and Voting Against Democrats
With the holiday season entering its beginning stages, Americans are scrambling to figure out how to operate in the current economic environment. Obviously, the supply chain crisis has made it difficult to get some items, including things you’d often seen bought for Christmas such as electronics. But it is the inflation spike the country is suffering through that is putting the most hurt on the middle-class. As RedState has reported, past reports have delivered bad news over the last several months, nearing or beating record highs. September brought news of a 13-year high for consumer inflation, led by hikes in gas and food products. In July, the nation saw its highest producer price inflation on record at 7.8%. Well, that was the highest on record until now. October’s report is out and we’ve reached another record high, with producer price inflation rising to 8.6% year over year.

Ballasy: Democrat spending bill poised to push personal income tax rates to highest level in developed world
The Tax Foundation estimates that the social spending bill is going to drive the “average top tax rate on personal income” up to 57.4%, which would be the “highest rate in the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).” New York, California and New Jersey would have the highest combined federal-state tax rates after passage of the reconciliation legislation in its current form, according to the organization. “Raising the top marginal tax rate on ordinary income to the highest in the OECD will damage U.S. competitiveness,” the Tax Foundation warned. “It will also reduce incentives to work, save, invest, and innovate, with broad implications for the U.S. economy.”
