Last year, three leftist nonprofits created the National Sex Education Standards, a blueprint for the “sex education” of K-12 children. In practice, the standards serve as an indoctrination camp in extremist sexual ethics designed to destroy children’s innocence and undermine their attachment to the traditional, Judeo-Christian understanding of sex and marriage. About 40 percent of school districts had adopted the earlier, less extreme 2011 version of the National Sexuality Education Standards, according to the Centers of Disease Control in a 2016 report. The new standards are radically more extreme. The 2020 standards unequivocally endorse abortion at any time, teach the topic starting in sixth grade, and even force teachers to provide information on local abortion clinics to students in ninth grade. The standards also insist that children must be allowed to choose their own gender and false pronouns must “be respected by the adults in their lives.” Kindergartners learn about gender identity, and third graders learn that gender is on a spectrum, about “the role of hormone blockers” for transgender youth, and how to “explain” masturbation. Sixth graders — ages eleven and twelve — must define oral, anal, and vaginal sex as well as the benefits of withdrawing one’s penis before ejaculation during intercourse and how to use dental dams during oral sex. Lindquist: Mom Reports School To Police For Promoting Gay Porn Book To Children
This article features explicit material unsuitable for all readers. A concerned mom says she’s filed a police report against North Kingstown High School in North Kingstown, Rhode Island for promoting a book with gay pornography to minors in the school library. The pornographic book was published by Lion Forge Comics and is titled “Gender Queer: A Memoir.” It was authored and illustrated by Maia Kobabe, who uses the made-up pronouns of e/em/eir and whose work focuses on “anti-fascism,” according to a description on Amazon. Nicole Solas, a resident of South Kingstown and mom of a kindergartener, posted a picture of the book in a display case on Twitter and highlighted the pornographic images contained between the covers. Solas also posted an image of the typed-out report that she says she sent to police, writing that she is submitting “evidence of distribution of pornography at North Kingstown High School” and that the book was made “available to minor children.”

Ron DeSantis has also taken action to prevent institutions in his state from requiring “vaccine passports.” Psaki, however, accused the Republican governors of “putting politics ahead of public health” and said they are hurting Biden’s goal to “work to get more people vaccinated.” She also claimed that Biden’s order is “federal law” that supersedes any order by a state government. […] “There is no executive order. There’s nothing but press statements,” Pullmann wrote last week. “Despite what you may have been falsely led to believe by the media fantasy projection machine, press statements have exactly zero legal authority.”

Every now and again, an otherwise arcane legal topic suddenly becomes relevant to contemporary political debate. At that point, general commentary suddenly becomes filled with newly minted experts with strong positions on what is typically a nuanced issue. Thus, at various points during the past decade, Twitter saw a flood of hitherto undisclosed connoisseurs on the intricacies of the Logan Act, a constitutionally problematic piece of legislation that emerged from the same 18th century administration that brought us the infamous Alien and Sedition Acts. In the aftermath of Hurricane Maria, some observers suddenly expressed deep-seated opinions on the Jones Act, a complex piece of maritime law most people had probably never heard of prior to 2017. So it seems to be with Jacobson v. Massachusetts, the previously obscure 116-year-old precedent – it barely warrants a footnote in most constitutional law treatises – that people have taken to citing whenever anyone questions the legality or constitutionality of vaccine mandates in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. But Jacobson is not some sort of argumentative checkmate. If the decision were actually taken to the lengths that some of its proponents suggest, it would be a truly terrifying ruling.

It is unclear why Schwerin had this intimate role in the vice president’s affairs rather than government officials in the Office of the Vice President.
Hunter’s claim that he and his father shared a bank account also raises serious questions whether funds from the alleged joint account were used for Hunter’s May 2018 week-long bender with a prostitute in a Hollywood hotel.

Pearce: Florida Fines County $3.5M Over Vaccine Mandate
The Florida Department of Health fined Leon County more than $3.5 million last week after it fired over a dozen workers for refusing to show proof of receiving a COVID-19 vaccine. Florida sent a letter to Leon County administrator Vincent Long on Wednesday notifying him that the county has been found to have violated state law 714 times and would be fined $3.57 million. Long said he would fight the fines and “enforce its rights” against the state. […] Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis blasted Leon County on September 13 for firing 14 employees who refused to show proof of vaccination.
“We are going to protect Florida jobs. We are not going to let people be fired because of a vaccine mandate,” DeSantis said at the time, according to Fox 4. “You don’t just cast aside people who’ve been serving faithfully over this issue over, what’s basically a personal choice on their individual health. We cannot let these folks be cast aside. We cannot allow their jobs to be destroyed and their families and livelihoods, potentially, to be destroyed as well.”

Here is the latest move by the University of California (UC) in response to my lawsuit in Federal court challenging their vaccine mandate on behalf of COVID-recovered individuals with natural immunity. On Thursday Sept 30th at 5:03 p.m. I received this letter from the University informing me that, as of the following morning, I was being placed on “Investigatory Leave” for my failure to comply with the vaccine mandate. I was given no opportunity to contact my patients, students, residents, or colleagues and let them know I would disappear for a month. Rather than waiting for the court to make a ruling on my case, the University has taken preemptive action: . . . You might be thinking, a month of paid leave doesn’t sound so bad. But the language is misleading here, since half of my income from the University comes from clinical revenues generated from seeing my patients, supervising resident clinics, and engaging in weekend and holiday on-call duties. So while on leave my salary is significantly cut.
Furthermore, my contract stipulates that I am not able to conduct any patient care outside the University: to see my current patients, or to recoup my losses by moonlighting as a physician elsewhere, would violate the terms of my contract.
