Lawrence Kadish contributor to Gatestone Institute: As the CCP carefully plots its strategy for a return to global dominance it would not be surprising if they are reflecting on the wisdom of one of America’s founding fathers, Patrick Henry, who wrote, “I have no way of judging the future but by the past…” They would see a Biden White House incapable of inspiring its citizenry, indifferent to crisis, and captured by Progressive ideologues whose pork-barrel policies will create a national debt so vast that it will threaten our nation’s future.

David Limbaugh contributor to Townhall reviews Mark Levin’s book American Marxism: This is a counterrevolution to the American revolution, and horrifyingly, “It is devouring our society and culture, swirling around our everyday lives, and ubiquitous in our politics, schools, media, and entertainment.”

Stella Morabito contributor to The Federalist: Today we are faced with a “New Iron Curtain,” an internal front, or an internal split within the West itself. This “brings the enemy of the West right into our institutional, cultural, and even our mental world, disrupting us, weakening us” and creating chaos in order to generate power vacuums it can then fill. The New Iron Curtain comes to us in the form of political correctness, identity politics, mob rule, and nonstop propaganda on the internet, all of which serve to manipulate every individual emotionally and psychologically. Communism’s warfare today is at least 90 percent psychological. And most people are not psychologically equipped to engage with this onslaught, especially vulnerable youth who are targeted with the full alliance of its “progressive” column in the West.

Ramona Bessinger a public middle school English teacher and contributor to Legal Insurrection tells her personal story: Finally, for some students, standing for The Pledge of Allegiance was no longer something they did. We are not allowed to question why, and the truth is, I knew why. Already these young people were beginning to hate America. I was the only person standing and the only person that could be heard saying “liberty and justice for all”. Midway through the academic year, some students started calling me “America” because I was white. These students, whom I love, were turning against me because of my skin color. I don’t blame them, I blame the racial narratives being forced upon them in school.

Julie Kelly contributor to American Greatness: So, what is Joe Biden’s Justice Department and the USCP trying to hide? If indeed the four-hour disturbance is the “worst attack on our democracy since the Civil War,” as Biden and Democratic Party talking heads often claim, or that it is akin to the 9/11 attacks and the Oklahoma City bombing, don’t the American people deserve to see every minute of video that documents how the “insurrection” went down?

Monica Showalter contributor to American Thinker questions why Biden would put forth, Tracy Stone Manning, to run the Bureau of Land Management: Someone like this could easily turn America’s forest land into an Antifa playground in the name of eco-justice, protecting her pals from real justice, for one.

Ashley Sadler contributor to Life Site News describes three bills before the Massachusetts State Legislature: According to Health Choice, “[t]hese bills would allow children to be vaccinated without their parents’ consent or knowledge, even if the child is young or intellectually disabled. Parents might not ever know since medical records would be hidden from parents without a court order.”

Mark Tapson contributor to Frontpage Magazine: Nothing triggers Democrats quite like non-compliance with their collectivist agenda, because for all their blustery blather about saving democracy from fascist Trump supporters, and beneath their micro-thin veneer of “tolerance and inclusiveness,” Progressives are totalitarians. The slightest resistance to their transformative, utopian vision elicits authoritarian rage. Case in point: the left has run out of patience with Americans who are resisting the COVID-19 vaccination.

Jonathan Turley lawyer and professor at George Washington University Law School wrote in his blog: . . . the Democrats are leery of openly forcing vaccines before the 2022 election. That is why the push is to make life more difficult through private companies. However, if these measures are viewed as designed to coerce, courts may be more scrutinizing of the public health necessity for the measures.

Lyman: ‘Choked Like A Dog’: Trump Attacks Gen. Milley, Lambasts Accusations He Tried To Launch A Coup
Former President Donald Trump pushed back Thursday against accusations he wanted to launch a coup, rebutting alleged claims from the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs Gen. Mark Milley. “I never threatened, or spoke about, to anyone, a coup of our Government,” Trump said. “So ridiculous! Sorry to inform you, but an Election is my form of ‘coup,’ and if I was going to do a coup, one of the last people I would want to do it with is General Mark Milley. He got his job only because the world’s most overrated general, James Mattis, could not stand him, had no respect for him, and would not recommend him.”
Trump said he lost all respect for Milley after they went to St. John’s Church. “Milley choked like a dog in front of the Fake News when . . .

Payne: Arizona election auditor: ‘Critically important’ investigators get access to Maricopa County routers
An auditor helping lead the 2020 election audit in Maricopa County, Arizona, said Thursday that it is “critically important” auditors gain access to a contested set of data machines that the county is refusing to hand over. Maricopa County has for months refused to hand over county-owned routers subpoenaed by the Arizona state Senate, despite a judge earlier this year ruling the subpoena valid, effectively ordering the county to comply. County officials have claimed that the routers, if surrendered, could constitute a security risk if sensitive data within them is leaked.

Conradson: Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer Changes His Tune: “I Supported An Audit, I’m Pro-Audit, I’m Pro-Review” – Such BS
When asked about the fraudulent vote count, previously reported by Karen Fann, Sloppy Steve told Broomhead: . . . Richer then goes on to trash the audit that he apparently ‘supported.’ After, he acknowledges his “abject failure” on his promises to “Make the County Recorder’s Office Boring Again” He claims to have supported a Senate audit now that he knows the results are coming in hot. He uses the typical leftist excuse of “conspiracy theorist driven” Cyber Ninjas for his reasoning against the audit. BS. […] This was a lot but Jovan Pultizer promises this was just a very small part of what will eventually be provided in regards to the audit.

Raffensperger said that Fulton County Elections Director Rick Barron and Registration Chief Ralph Jones had to be fired and removed immediately. “Fulton County’s continued failures have gone on long enough with no accountability. Fulton’s voters and the people of Georgia deserve better,” Raffensperger tweeted.

Bessinger: I’m A Middle School Teacher And See How Critical Race Curriculum Is Creating Racial Hostility In School
I love being a teacher and I care a great deal about my students, almost all of whom are non-white. This past 2020/21 school year was a sad and worrisome turning point for me as an educator. Providence K-8 teachers were introduced to one of the most racially divisive, hateful, and in large part, historically inaccurate curriculums I have ever seen in my teaching career. Yes, I am speaking about the controversial critical race theory that has infiltrated our public schools here in Rhode Island under the umbrella of Cuturally Responsive learning and teaching, which includes a focus on identities. You won’t see the words “critical race theory” on the materials, but those are the concepts taught. The new, racialized curriculum and materials focuses almost exclusively on an oppressor-oppressed narrative, and have created racial tensions among students and staff where none existed before. […] What saddened me most was that I would not be teaching the Holocaust any longer. The Holocaust unit included one of the following: either Anne Frank, The Boy In The Striped Pajamas, and depending on reading level, Elie Weisel’s Night When I asked the school reading coach where all the Holocaust books were, she said “we do not teach the Holocaust because kids can’t relate to the story.” What? Kids can’t relate to genocide, hate, discrimination, and prejudice? Yes children can relate to these universal themes, we all can. Children would never learn about the evils of hatred during the Second World War? Why? What was it about the truth and perspective that seemed to escape us during the 2020/21 school year? Exactly why was all this great literature removed from our curriculum?

Benoit: Government Schools vs. Christianity
Gary Benoit interviews New American Senior Editor Alex Newman about the war that is now deliberately being waged against the God of the Bible in public-school classrooms under the guise of “education.” Alex’s blockbuster article on this subject is one of several he wrote or cowrote in The New American’s “Save Our Children” Special Report, which makes the case for getting the children out of the public schools immediately.

Starnes: Anti-Semitic 5th-Grade Lesson Plan Looks Like Hamas Propaganda
An anti-Semitic 5th-grade lesson plan in Washington state compared the treatment of Native Americans to Palestinians and their return to “sacred homelands” from “Israeli dominance,” KTTH reports. The lesson, which conservative radio host Jason Rantz compared to propaganda from terrorist organization Hamas, has been up for at least a decade. But after the Jason Rantz Show questioned the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI), state officials immediately edited it out. The plan, titled “Independence: Revolution and U.S. Constitution in Indian Country,” encourages teachers to “compare the similarities between the struggles for Independence of the Indian Nations, the U.S. Colonies, and (if the teacher chooses) another contemporary struggle, such as the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict.”
Teachers are told to ask: . . .

Baltimore: 41% of High School Students in City Schools Earn Below 1.0 GPA
Project Baltimore obtained a chart assembled by Baltimore City Schools. The chart shows the average GPA for every high school grade in the city – freshman through senior. In the first three quarters of this past school year, according to the chart, 41% of all Baltimore City high school students, earned below a 1.0 grade point average. In other words, nearly half of the 20,500 public high school students in Baltimore earned less than a D average. Is there a better argument for school choice?

Tucker Carlson: The chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff should be fired
“If Donald Trump refuses to leave office,” the letter began, “the United States military must remove him by force, and you must give that order.” You must remove the president by force. […] The Pentagon had to go on the record against it too. The rest of us could keep civilian control of our government. What a relief. Within days, the story receded, another weird footnote to a weird four years. But if you thought about it for a second, you had to wonder: where did that idea even come from? Did two former military officers talk like that or think like that, and do a lot of them have views like that? Do a lot of them have these views? We pushed the thought from our minds. We shouldn’t have. Now we know that Mark Milley himself is the sort of person who considers military coups entirely within the realm of possibility. […] A new book, written by reporters at The Washington Post who cover Milley, reveals the current chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff as a legitimate extremist — the last person you’d give power to if you could possibly help it.

Greenfield: How the Air Force Academy Makes the Disloyal Military Leaders of Tomorrow
In 2007, Mark Milley, then a mere colonel, was being interviewed about his experiences by Lynne Chandler Garcia. Now Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Milley is defending critical race theory while Garcia, an associate professor at the Air Force Academy, teaches it. The woman described by one student as “the worst professor I’ve had” back when she was teaching logic for the philosophy department at a community college recently came forward with a Washington Post op-ed announcing her enthusiasm for injecting Marxism into the Air Force. “I teach critical race theories to our nation’s future military leaders because it is vital that cadets understand the history of the racism that has shaped both foreign and domestic policy,” the historically illiterate logic teacher wrote. Garcia, whose bio states that she holds “military secret clearance”, is promoting a Marxist ideology in her “Politics, American Government, and National Security” course. The curriculum lists her course, which implicitly attacks the existence of America, as a ”contributor to the development and assessment of the National Security of the American Republic”.

Kadish: ‘Truth is Buoyant’ for Nations Seeking Global Leadership
First published in 1989, [Paul Kennedy’s] book, “The Rise and Fall of Great Powers,”… should be required reading in Washington. Against this battering from Beijing, the Biden Administration seems to be sleepwalking. In response to the CCP’s military expansion journalists say our defense budget will be – in essence – flat, at best. While these mistakes, missteps, and missed opportunities are early in Biden’s term, the Chinese also know the proverb that “Truth is buoyant” – it will surface at some point and become obvious to all. When it does, will America still have the means to preserve its security and freedom? […] Current satellite imagery has revealed the stunning news that Communist China is building what defense analysts believe are more than 100 new silos for intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs).

Beyrer: Chinese Officials Share Video of Nuke Launch Against Japan
Chinese Communist Party officials shared a video threatening the launch of nuclear missiles against Japan. The video, which was originally posted Sunday by the Chinese military commentary website Liu Jun Tao Lue, declared China would “continuously” deploy nuclear arms against Japan if it came to the aid of Taiwan following a Chinese invasion. A Communist Party committee in central China shared the video after the original channel removed it. “When we liberate Taiwan, if Japan dares to intervene by force, even if it only deploys one soldier, one plane, and one ship, we will not only return reciprocal fire but also start a full-scale war against Japan,” the narrator says. “We will use nuclear bombs first.”

Billingsley: Biden Lifts Sanctions on Venezuela
“The U.S. Department of the Treasury on Monday lifted sanctions on the export of gas to socialist Venezuela,” Breitbart reported on Tuesday, “a boon to the dictatorship in Caracas and its patron government in communist Cuba, which struggles to suppress mounting opposition and calls for the regime’s total abolition.” The lifting of sanctions is significant because “Caracas has further served as an economic lifeline for Havana, supplying much of the regime’s energy needs on credit, with extremely lenient terms.” As the U.S. announced the lifting of sanctions, the Miami Herald reported, Venezuela’s Maduro regime surrounded the home of opposition leader Juan Guaidó and arrested his former deputy Freddy Guevara. The U.S. move took the establishment media by surprise.

Lendon: US Air Force to send dozens of F-22 fighter jets to the Pacific amid tensions with China
Deploying a large number of F-22s for the exercise sends an immediate message to China at a time when relations are tense over Pacific flashpoints like Taiwan and the South China Sea, said Carl Schuster, a Hawaii-based defense analyst and a former director of operations at the US Pacific Command’s Joint Intelligence Center. Normal F-22 deployments consist of six to 12 aircraft, he said. “The Pacific Air Force is demonstrating that it can deploy as many or more fifth-generation aircraft into the theater on short notice than (China) currently has in its entire inventory,” he said.

Morabito: Why Communism Should Be Tried For Its Crimes Against Humanity
Cubans have been marching in the streets for freedom, chanting “Libertad!” and demonstrating by the thousands that they’ve had enough of the sham called communism. They know economic disaster and political repression come with that territory. Yet today we’re peering through Alice’s looking glass as we watch these events unfold. Everything is backwards. Elites in the U.S. government, media, and Big Tech seem to be taking the side of the communist authorities who are clamping down on the protests, Soviet-style. Some journalists and Twitter have spun the idea that Cubans are taking to the streets mostly because of a desire for more awareness of COVID-19 cases and deaths. Please. There’s always hell to pay whenever you allow too much power into the hands of too few people. That’s the story of communism, in a nutshell. It’s a totalitarian system in which a little clique of elites has absolute power to dictate to everybody what they may say, how they may act, what goods and services they may receive, and with whom they may associate. In a word, communism is state-run slavery. The elites who push it stop at nothing to maintain their power. So it shouldn’t surprise us that communist regimes have murdered 100 million people in the twentieth century. That’s probably a gross underestimate, but you get the picture. It’s summed up well in Professor R.J. Rummel’s opening words to his book, “Death by Government”: “Power kills; absolute power kills absolutely.”

Limbaugh: American Marxism
What makes the counterrevolutionaries particularly dangerous is their sophisticated techniques of distorting language, disguising their true intent with deceitful euphemisms to disarm patriots and facilitate their scheme to fundamentally transform this nation into something unrecognizable to its founders and wholly unacceptable to all who cherish and revere the glorious American experiment in self-governance. They’ve labeled themselves “progressives,” “social activists” and other innocuous-sounding terms because they know Americans still, by the grace of God, reject naked Marxism. More recently, they operate under such organizations as Black Lives Matter, cloaking their anti-capitalist designs in a facade of racial, environmental or gender justice. They have foisted their once-ridiculed notion of critical race theory into the forefront of our lives, forcing this dangerous philosophy into mainstream societal acceptance. Race agitation isn’t their only weapon.

Widburg: The Biden administration boasts about controlling discourse on Facebook
For years, I’ve been telling anyone who will listen that the tight link between government and big tech is a hallmark of fascism: Unlike fascism’s socialist brother, communism, which has government take over the means of production, fascism, as Hitler and Mussolini practiced it, is an intertwining of private enterprise and government, which each serving the other. Genocidal megalomania is not a prerequisite for fascism, so I’m not calling Biden “Hitler.” However, we should all be concerned when Biden’s spokesman boasts that the White House is flagging “problematic” content for Facebook so it can know what to censor. Here is Jen Psaki, telling a roomful of admiring “reporters” (read: flacks) that the Biden administration is making sure that only government-approved information ends up in the hands of the social media outlets that are the way many Americans get their news: . . . […] Glenn Greenwald tweet: The White House is admitting that they’re compiling lists of people who they claim are posting content they regard as “problematic” and that constitute “misinformation” and are demanding Facebook remove them. This is authoritarianism: . . .

Crawford: How A ‘Green’ America Would Fuel China’s Growing Coal And Uyghur-Exploiting Solar Industries
President Joe Biden inherited an America that was a net energy exporter, something that had not been achieved even once in his 44 years in federal office. The GOP’s energy strategy was, quite simply, working. The results were not just lower energy prices and independence from unstable or adversarial countries; this also helped us lower carbon emissions. […] Nevertheless, as part of his plan to spend $6 trillion more on leftists’ political wish lists, President Biden announced Democrats will seek to eliminate fossil fuel carbon emissions in our electricity generation by the year 2035 – a plan almost twice as extreme as former President Barack Obama’s 2015 climate plan. This would mean eliminating the 60 percent of our current electricity that is generated by fossil fuels. […] The solution, we are told, will be a massive expansion of solar and wind power, which together account for only about 10 percent of our electricity generation today, even with steep taxpayer subsidies. […] Democrats’ climate strategy, then, is unilateral economic disarmament to our adversaries in China and Russia. […] While China is the world’s number one coal importer, it is also working to dominate the solar industry. In fact, China has all but cornered the market in many sectors of solar manufacturing.

Bolton: Manchin signals he’ll be team player on spending deal
Sen. Joe Manchin (W.Va.), a crucial centrist vote in the Democratic caucus, is signaling to colleagues that he won’t derail a $3.5 trillion budget resolution that contains many of President Biden’s legislative priorities. Senate Democrats say Manchin has indicated he will not stand in the way of the measure moving forward and  will be generally supportive as long as he’s kept in the loop on his top concerns: how to pay for the bill and a clean energy provision.

Parke: USA Today Declares War on Christian Men’s Group
The mainstream media is going after a Christian men’s movement that has been around for decades. USA Today’s “race and inequality editor” called on the Dallas Cowboys and AT&T Stadium, where Promise Keepers is set to take place this weekend, to ban the Christian men’s group. Promise Keepers CEO Ken Harrison responded on the Todd Starnes Show Wednesday after USA Today’s Mike Freeman accused him of “anti-trans” hate speech. Harrison refuted Freeman’s accusations, adding that he started receiving death threats after the op-ed. Unherd: Wikipedia co-founder: I no longer trust the website I created
But the truth about this supposedly neutral purveyor of information is a little more complex. Historically, Wikipedia has been written and monitored by a community of volunteers who collaborated and contested competing claims with one another. In the words of Wikipedia’s co-founder, Larry Sanger who spoke to Freddie Sayers on LockdownTV, these volunteers would “battle it out”. This battle of ideas on Wikipedia’s platform formed a crucial part of the encyclopaedia’s commitment to neutrality, which according to Sanger, was abandoned after 2009. In the years since, on issues ranging from Covid to Joe Biden, it has become increasingly partisan, primarily espousing an establishment viewpoint that increasingly represents “propaganda”. This, says Sanger, is why he left the site in 2007, describing it as “broken beyond repair”.

Klavan: The Axiomatic God of Freedom
Free expression is so central to liberty that its restriction by private megapolies is intolerable. Whether or not Donald Trump wins his suit against the big tech firms that censor him, he is right in principle. No matter the difficulties, paradoxes, and technicalities, these companies’ assaults on free expression have to be stopped by law. These outfits are not local cake makers who mustn’t be forced to celebrate what they find unholy. They are multi-national outfits with the wealth and power of sovereign states. When Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube act in concert to deny access to the President of the United States, or when a functioning monopoly like Amazon pulls a book for political reasons—as it did with When Harry Became Sally, Ryan T. Anderson’s thoughtful look at transgenderism—they are making it next to impossible for certain ideas and opinions to be widely expressed and known. That is a danger to our right to free speech. And that right has to be protected by the government because it is given to us by God. This is not, in other words, a First Amendment issue. The First Amendment protects our free speech from the government. But the government is still responsible for protecting those rights from other threats as well. It says so in the Declaration of Independence.
