Thomas Jefferson third President of the United States and author of the Declaration of Independence wrote in the last letter on June 24 1826: “May it [The Declaration of Independence] be to the world, what I believe it will be … the signal of arousing men to burst the chains … and to assume the blessings and security of self-government. That form, which we have substituted, restores the free right to the unbounded exercise of reason and freedom of opinion. All eyes are opened, or opening, to the rights of man. … For ourselves, let the annual return of this day forever refresh our recollections of these rights, and an undiminished devotion to them.”

White House Official explains what President Biden and his administration will celebrate July 4th weekend: The work to vaccinate America and bring us to this moment has been monumental, and the President, vice president, first lady and second gentleman, along with members of the Cabinet, will be fanning out across the country to celebrate our progress in fighting this pandemic and getting our country back to normal.”

Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) on a John Solomon podcast: “The Chinese are looking to build their own cryptocurrency. I mean, that is a complete recipe for disaster worldwide because they can force any money they give out on their so-called Silk Road Initiative — can you imagine if they force them to use their cryptocurrency? You know how easy it would be to manipulate a Chinese cryptocurrency, what the Chinese would be able to do with that?”

(6/28/2021) Sundance: President Trump Releases a Statement About Bill Barr, The Deep State Attorney General Who Conned The White House
After being duped, played and ultimately conned, by the duplicitous and Machiavellian deep state apparatchik known as former AG Bill Barr {Go Deep Here} it is no surprise to CTH why President Trump would be a level of angry that’s almost unfathomable. Every word within this statement by President Trump is justified and warranted. PRESIDENT TRUMP: “RINO former Attorney General Bill Barr failed to investigate election fraud, and really let down the American people. Even the scam that took place in Georgia of ballot stuffing on camera, he couldn’t see what was wrong with it. Just like he failed to understand the Horowitz report and let everyone down with respect to getting a timely investigation (where’s Durham?) on all of the corruption of the Obama-Biden Administration. It’s people in authority like Bill Barr . . .

Lifson: FBI lawyer that lied to judge on FISA warrant will be able to practice law again in August after zero jail time
The Russiagate coverup rolls merrily along, with the agitprop media almost completely ignoring a startling instance of the deep state taking care of its own, even when they are caught red-handed committing grave felonies. Does the name Kevin Clinesmith ring a bell? He’s the FBI lawyer that lied on a FISA warrant in order to be able to spy on the Trump campaign by falsely implicating Carter Page. He was caught red-handed in altering an email 180 degrees.

Gelertner: Joe Manchin Is a Fake
The West Virginia Democrat is a very savvy politician. But he doesn’t represent Americans or the people of his state or the spirit of compromise. He’s a phony. The Art of Voter Fraud Made Simple Here’s a quick synopsis of how vote fraud actually works: A nonprofit organization gets hired by a state to clean its voter rolls. To assist in its mission, the nonprofit gets access not only to the voter rolls, but to the DMV records, which are not publicly available. The nonprofit seems to do its work, and even submits a list of voters who should be removed from the rolls. But then another nonprofit, working in tandem, sues the state to prevent the removal of those voters from the rolls. So what has been accomplished by nonprofit A? First, they send out voter registration cards to everyone in the state DMV database who isn’t registered to vote—and this is paid for by the state. Second, they now have a list of all the people who are registered to vote but shouldn’t be on the rolls. These are people who wouldn’t notice if you requested a mail-in ballot on their behalf and voted it for them—people who might be dead or might have moved, but most often simply don’t vote, and therefore don’t notice when a ballot they never requested is sent to an address that isn’t theirs. A huge number of safe-to-cast ballots are mailed to designated addresses or are scooped out of non-voters’ mailboxes. Another nonprofit collects these ballots en masse and marks them. Then mules are paid to deliver them to dropboxes (as in Georgia) or to bulk-vote them in-person (as in Arizona). An audit won’t find anything wrong because the ballots and the envelopes are both genuine. The entire system is a scam, but as long as you’re willing to operate within that system, there is nothing to find. We may be awake to the threat of fraud now, but if we stake too much on these audits, we’re playing into the Left’s hands. If the audits fizzle, . . . Joe Manchin laid out the entire Democratic strategy on election fraud in a recent op-ed, a strategy in which he is slated to play a major role. You just have to know how to read what he wrote. Examine the problem from the Democrats’ point of view: . . .

Beyrer: Stefanik Challenger Was China Daily’s Lawyer
A New York Democrat challenging Rep. Elise Stefanik (R., N.Y.) represented the state-run propaganda outlet China Daily in a 2019 lawsuit, filings reveal. Matthew Putorti, who emerged as Stefanik’s main competitor after strong fundraising in his campaign’s opening days, was the Chinese propaganda outlet’s sole representative during litigation over a 2019 copyright complaint filed by an American photographer, according to legal filings obtained by the Washington Free Beacon. Putorti, as an attorney for Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, filed several legal motions on behalf of China Daily beginning in February 2019. China Daily is one of Beijing’s primary tools for pushing the Chinese Communist Party’s agenda overseas. […] Putorti’s firm does extensive work with the Chinese—the firm has three offices in China and devotes an entire section on its website—a great deal of which is written in Mandarin—to its status as a “first choice” law firm for Chinese executives. The website advertises its attorneys’ “cultural sensitivity and experience” working on complex international transactions that benefit Chinese companies.

Daley: Breyer’s Influence Hits Its Peak As Progressives Push Him To Retire
Justice Stephen Breyer’s influence on the Supreme Court is hitting its apex just as many on the left are clamoring for him to step down in favor of a younger, more progressive successor. Breyer, 82, has been a powerful force for consensus this term, delivering the majority opinion in three major cases that commanded lopsided majorities. It remains to be seen whether his banner run is the first part of a historic final act, or the swan song to a 26-year tenure that could end once the Court adjourns for the summer, when outgoing justices usually announce their retirement. “It’s supremely ironic that Justice Breyer is being pushed to retire just as he’s reaching the apogee of his influence,” said Ilya Shapiro, director of the Robert A. Levy Center for Constitutional Studies at the Cato Institute.

Newsmax: Supreme Court: No Right to Hearing for Some Immigrants
The Supreme Court ruled Tuesday that the government can indefinitely detain certain immigrants who say they will face persecution or torture if they are deported to their native countries. Over the dissent of three liberal justices, the court held 6-3 that the immigrants are not entitled to a hearing about whether they should be released while the government evaluates their claims. Justice Samuel Alito wrote for the court that “those aliens are not entitled to a bond hearing.” […] In dissent, Justice Stephen Breyer saw it differently. “But why would Congress want to deny a bond hearing to individuals who reasonably fear . . .

Heyer: How A 10-Year-Old Girl’s Mom Saved Her From Going Transgender
With permission, I share a mother’s terrifying experience. Her story illustrates how quickly and easily a ten-year-old girl can be groomed into a cross-sex identity. When I appeared on a Heritage Foundation panel discussion in 2019, I said people are manufacturing trans gender kids. They are hurting the most vulnerable members of our society by encouraging children and adolescents to live as the opposite sex, inject hormone blockers and cross-gender hormones, and undergo surgeries that irrevocably alter healthy body parts. These protocols are dangerous and unstudied, and shouldn’t be pushed on children. Yet this madness rages on like an unchecked forest fire. I was a transgender child who “transitioned” to female as an adult. I lived as female for eight years, until I woke up and admitted it wasn’t working. Counseling led to emotional healing and my feelings of gender dysphoria dissipated. Hormones and surgery were unnecessary and physically harmed me. Now I use my experience to mentor others who want to reclaim their biological reality. So, when a mother who watched the panel discussion wrote me, saying, “The video gave me the courage and helped me to take control of my 10-year-old daughter’s wellbeing,” I knew I needed to speak out again to expose the manipulation that causes vulnerable children to think they have a transgender identity. […] Ten-year-old Mindy (a pseudonym) changed schools and left behind her friends just before the school lockdowns, then attended school virtually for the rest of fourth grade and all of fifth grade. When she exhibited overwhelming stress, her concerned parents took her to a counselor at the pediatrician’s office. That started their nightmare. Their story followed a common five-step process I have seen numerous times. Step 1. Exclude the Parents . . ..

Raleigh: Why Is The U.S. Military Fighting American Freedom Harder Than Foreign Threats?
Our men and women in uniform should know this nation’s founding principles represent universal values. Although we are still far from realizing those founding principles, we have advanced further toward those ideals than any other country in the world. These principles and our efforts to achieve them are worth defending to the death. However, indoctrinating the U.S. military with CRT will hurt both the recruitment of soldiers and the morale of our current troops. In the words of the Manhattan Institute’s Christopher Rufo, CRT “isn’t an exercise in promoting racial sensitivity or understanding history. It’s a radical ideology that seeks to use race as a means of moral, social and political revolution.” […] A final question for Milley: does the U.S. military have its priorities right? In the same week as Milley’s testimony, Sir Stuart Peach, the North Atlantic Treaty Organization’s most senior military officer, warned of communist China’s swift military modernization. He said in an interview: “It is quite shocking how quickly China has built ships, how much China has modernized its air force, [and] how much it has invested in cyber and other forms of information management, not least facial recognition.” “What do you do if you’re a leader in China with a modernized powerful large force?” he asked rhetorically. “You deploy it, you move it around.”

Hamilton: Here’s a List of the Many Times Democrats — Not Republicans — Supported Defunding Police
In the past few days, the Biden Administration has been attempting to shift crime wave blame onto Republicans by accusing them of “defunding the police” — despite evidence to the contrary. Biden advisor Cedric Richmond first accused Republicans of defunding the police on “Fox News Sunday”: . . .
[…] Despite an attempt to change the narrative, the facts speak for themselves: Democrats have been rallying to defund the police for more than a year, and simultaneously, crime has drastically risen in America’s biggest — Democrat-run — cities. Here are just a few big cities that have slashed police department budgets this past year: . . .

Marcos: House passes bill to remove Confederate statues from Capitol
The 285-120 vote was bipartisan, but it split Republicans. A minority of 67 Republicans joined with all Democrats in support, while 120 voted against it. “We ought not to forget history. We must learn from history. But we ought not to honor that which defiled the principles for which we think we stand,” said House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.), the bill’s primary author. “It’s time to remove those symbols of slavery, segregation and sedition from these halls.” […] Those statues include figures such as Jefferson Davis, the president of the Confederacy; Alexander Hamilton Stephens, the Confederacy’s vice president; and Wade Hampton, a South Carolina planter who served as a Confederate military officer and went on to become a governor and a senator. It would further replace a bust of former Supreme Court Chief Justice Roger Taney, the author of the 1857 Dred Scott ruling that Black people lacked the rights of citizens, with one of Thurgood Marshall, the first African American justice to serve on the high court. Other statues depicting people with histories of defending white supremacy that are singled out in the legislation include . . .

Feuerherd, Celona & Golding: Federal judge tosses Bronx gun case over racial makeup of grand jury
A Manhattan federal judge dismissed a case against a reputed gang member in a shooting last year — because the suburban grand jury that indicted him wasn’t diverse enough. In a 36-page ruling, Judge Analisa Torres said defendant William “Ill Will” Scott “produced clear statistical evidence” that he was indicted by members of a grand jury pool in White Plains with an “underrepresentation of Black and Latinx individuals.”

Chadwell: The Top Ten Pending Eruptions
It’s shaping up to be a long, hot summer, one filled — like Yellowstone Park — with geysers and hot springs ready to blow at any moment. But these are political eruptions, not nature’s fury. If I didn’t know that God has things under control I’d be terrified, but in the interest of keeping track of the truth let’s list the top 10 political eruptions we can expect to blow sometime soon. 10. Hunter Biden. He’s at the end of the list because what happens with him is not likely to directly impact any of us, but he’s such a shocking collection of immoralities and corruptions that we all know deep in our bones that such nastiness cannot be condoned in a reasonable, prosperous, free society. Hardly a week goes by without some new scandal surfacing, and each seems worse than the last. Now he’s selling “paintings” as a money-laundering scheme. He and his slimy doings are bad enough by themselves, but he’s the president’s son. Sooner or later something has to be done about him and about the part his father has played in all of it. 9. Speaking of whom, something is also going to have to be done about Joe’s mental state, but that is complicated by the fact that Kamala’s mental acuity is not much better. She’s not suffering from dementia per se, but I suspect that she’s never been all that bright. And Pelosi is next in line and her mental problems border on insanity. So, what we will do about this mortifying state of affairs is going to require some divine intervention — and soon — have you heard him whisper/hiss his way through a press briefing? Yikes. 8. . .
