Sundance: NSA Responds to Tucker Carlson Claim of Surveillance, The Generic and Very Political Non-Denial Should Alarm Everyone
Last night Fox news host Tucker Carlson reported on a whistleblower contact from within the intelligence community who informed him the NSA was conducting electronic surveillance of his private communication (email and text messages). Tonight the NSA responded via Twitter: Techno Fog noted something most of us would also note {SEE HERE} the NSA statement is an obtuse non-denial. However, there’s a lot more in that statement that should alarm everyone. I don’t know if I can cover it all here; this is actually serendipitous for a larger framework article I have been working on. But here’s some top-line initial reactions. First, notice the time of the tweet message. Exactly 8:00pm to coincide with the beginning of Tucker Carlson’s broadcast. That’s typical political operative snark, which wouldn’t be too surprising if it were not the fact this is from the actual National Security Agency.

Friend of the Treehouse John Spiropoulos continues highlighting how Critical Race Theory is infecting the public educational system. In this brief excerpt John highlights the efforts of a teacher in Virginia who was recorded by a student during a distance learning class. The teacher clearly wants to make race the focus of an innocuous picture and the student doesn’t get why the teacher is so racially focused. As the student continues to push-back against the manipulative intent, the teacher gets frustrated and accuses the student of being “intentionally coy” about a picture of two young women.

Payne: Virginia says local schools should ‘eliminate gender-based practices’ under new transgender rules
Virginia’s Department of Education is urging school districts throughout the state to work to end as many sex-segregated activities and programs as possible as part of a recently promulgated set of rules aimed at accommodating transgender students statewide.[…] “Gender-based policies, rules, and practices can have the effect of marginalizing, stigmatizing, and excluding students, regardless of their gender identity or gender expression,” it states, citing “practices that may be based on gender” such as “grouping students for class activities, gender-based homecoming or prom courts, limitations on who can attend as ‘couples’ at school dances, and gender-based events such as father-daughter dances.” The new state rules also appear to require local schools to permit students on overnight school trips to choose lodging accommodations that align with their gender identity rather than their biological sex.

The answer is quite simple; within every federal spending and appropriation bill there are carve-outs for various segments of the process. The Department of Homeland Security and Department of Health and Human Services receive hundreds of billions in supplemental appropriation funding from within each federal spending package. Each of the COVID relief bills contained money to facilitate various elements of this process. Federal housing grants, food assistance programs, education funding, employment and income assistance, all of it, every single spending package, contains funding mechanisms to support the border invasion.

Stauffer: Miss Nevada USA Pageant defies science as a man gets crowned the winner
An undefeated female mountain biking champion lost her title to a transgender. A weightlifter, mediocre when she was a he, qualified for the Olympics in the women’s category. A biological male who identifies as a woman caused a ruckus at a Los Angeles women’s day spa when he decided to strut around stark naked. As if all of the above were not ridiculous enough, on Sunday, Kataluna Enriquez, a man who identifies as a woman, was crowned Miss Nevada USA at the South Point hotel-casino in Las Vegas, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported. This is the first time a transgender has won the title. Isn’t that exciting?
KVVU-TV reporter Kim Passoth told viewers at the time that Enriquez had won transgender and also cisgender contests before, “but this is a monumental win.”

Husebro: Poll: Most Americans Want No Governmental Action on Coronavirus Delta Variant
The Trafalgar Group asked respondents if the government should take action on the coronavirus delta variant. Sixty-three percent said the government should take no action, considering “the widespread availability of the vaccines and treatments individuals can to make personal decisions on how to respond.”
17.7 percent said “government should reinstate mandates for mask wearing and social distancing.” And 12.3 percent said they were not sure.
