Kelly: The January 6 Commission Is All About Revenge
The House of Representatives on Wednesday passed legislation to create a 9/11-style commission to investigate the events of January 6, 2021. Thirty-five Republicans, including the ten who voted to impeach Donald Trump for “inciting” the violence that day, joined Democrats to advance the bill to the U.S. Senate where its fate is unclear. The vote, ironically, came almost four years to the day that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, at the behest of many Republicans, appointed Robert Mueller as special counsel to investigate the concocted crime of Trump-Russia election collusion. The January 6 commission, if passed, would be yet another extension of Crossfire Hurricane, the illicit probe launched by the FBI in 2016 in an effort to destroy one of Barack Obama’s most despised political enemies. One special counsel investigation, numerous congressional and senate inquisitions, and two impeachment trials later, the Left’s insatiable lust to take down Donald Trump remains unsatisfied. But now, rather than just targeting the president and his family, millions of Americans must be punished for defying the ruling regime—which only partially includes the federal agencies, political leaders of both parties, the news media, and Big Tech. This dangerous crusade is accelerating at an alarming pace at the highest levels of government; apparently, it is of no concern to nearly three dozen Republican members of Congress who are helping Joe Biden and the Democrats exact their revenge on Trump supporters.

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in Chicago recently stopped several shipments containing counterfeit currencies totaling $685,000 from China, the agency announced on Tuesday. The shipments arrived at Chicago’s International Mail Facility (IMF) between May 15 and 17, destined for cities in several states including Illinois, Indiana, New York, and Kentucky. The fake currencies came in the form of $5, $10, $20, $50, and $100 bills.One shipment was destined for the Bronx, New York containing 976 $100 bills. Another shipment was headed to Louisville, Kentucky containing 101 $20 bills and 103 $50 bills. All of these shipments were manifested as prop money. […] China remains the top source of fake goods entering the U.S. market.

After the January 6th fraternity panty raid at the Capitol, the biggest micro-aggression in history, the Department of Defense was so triggered that it held a nationwide “extremism stand down” this spring. Yeah, you heard me—a panty raid. We’re just lucky no one encountered Nancy Pelosi’s actual panties, people could have been seriously traumatized. It was all fun and games until a (black) Capitol Keystone Cop killed an unarmed (white) protester. (When you’re on Pelosi’s payroll, they let you do it.)

[…] The Biden administration has radically broken with the policies of the administration that preceded it: President Trump decided to walk away from Iran’s nuclear deal precisely because the mullahs’ regime was funding Islamic terrorism and constantly threatening Israel the United States, as well as Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Syria, Libya and Iraq. Iranian leaders appear see the Biden administration in a position of weakness and ready to turn a blind eye to even Iran’s most hideous atrocities, either inside the country or outside it.
That the Biden administration chose Robert Malley, the lead negotiator for the 2015 Iran nuclear deal, to conduct negotiations again, makes the Iranian leadership even more intrigued by the Biden administration’s weakness. Negotiations are currently underway in Vienna, Austria. The Iranians have refused to meet with the American delegation. The Iranian delegation has told Mikhail Ulyanov, Permanent Representative of Russia to International Organizations, that they were “still not ready” to meet Americans.

Moore: Under Biden Plan, The IRS Would Know A Lot More About Your Bank Accounts
Simply put, the American Families Plan calls for banks and other financial institutions to report more than just a taxpayer’s interest earned, capital gains and losses. Banks and other financial institutions would also be required to report “aggregate account outflows and inflows.” In other words, the IRS will know about all of your bank accounts, whether you earned income on that account or not, how much is in the account in a given year, and how much was transferred in and out of the account. It is unclear how this would work, but what is clear is that this new reporting obligation will create a massive compliance effort on the part of financial institutions, and eliminate a massive blindspot that the IRS is currently enduring. As things stand today, most taxpayers don’t have an obligation to report how much money they have in their bank accounts, how much they deposited, or how much they withdrew

Massive government spending has decreased the value of the American dollar and triggered increased consumer prices, which economic experts said will only get worse. Americans will continue to see higher prices across the board, from food and gasoline to home appliances and cars, as the federal government continues to propose more stimulus into the economy without an adequate plan to pay for it, according to several experts. Even if the government doesn’t pass legislation increasing taxes, higher prices ultimately amount to an “inflation tax,” some of the experts said. […] Since January, prices have outpaced wage growth meaning Americans’ average salary isn’t keeping up with the cost of goods and services.

The grandiose and centralized cradle-through-college education plans of Joe Biden and the Democratic party have now been plainly stated. In his April 27th address to Congress, Mr. Biden said that his purpose was to “guarantee four additional years” of free public education, two before first grade and two after 12th grade. In his American Families Plan released the next day, he said that his purpose was to “make transformational investments” in education, including developing “appropriate curriculum.” […] This interest in controlling Americans from cradle to college helps us understand why the Biden administration intervened in the April “student free speech” case in the Supreme Court and why the most liberal administration since the Great Society repudiated one of the political accomplishments and high symbols of 1960’s liberalism. […] The Biden administration’s purpose effectively to overturn Tinker and to have public schools control all student speech, on or off campus, was expressly stated by the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) lawyer when he said, “there is no meaningful causal link between the place from which an online communication is sent and the likelihood that it will disrupt school operations.” The school district’s lawyer agreed and argued that students “shouldn’t be able to place their speech off limits just by stepping off campus.” The student’s lawyer placed the arguments in the larger, that is to say, constitutional context: . . . […] Will elementary, secondary, and university students, off campus as well as on campus, be forbidden to criticize, for example, critical race theory and the new American history curricula? And will that prohibition be extended to parents?
