This will happen whenever the WHO designates a “Public Health Emergency of International Concern” (PHEIC), or considers we may be at risk of one. The WHO’s proposed treaty, taken together with its “synergistic” amendments to the International Health Regulations (IHR), aim to undo centuries of democratic reform that based sovereignty with individuals, and by extension their State. The discomfort of facing this truth and the complexities it raises is providing the cover needed to push these changes through. This is how democracy, and freedom, wither and die. […] It takes quite a step for comfortable, middle-income left-leaning professionals to believe that the institutions and philanthropic organizations we have admired all our lives might now be pillaging us. recent Washington Post headline labels the month-long torrent of attacks among left-of-center media and Senate Democrats “The polite struggle to do something—anything—about Clarence Thomas.” The claim, now ubiquitous on the Left, is that the Supreme Court Justice has been bought by billionaire businessman Harlan Crow and has filed false federal financial disclosure forms to cover up the fact. Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-R.I.) and Rep. Hank Johnson (D-Ga.) have called for a Justice Department investigation of Justice Thomas. The only place these lies may be considered “polite,” however, is the all-white beach and sailing clubs frequented by the Whitehouses. Of course the woke Left pretends to be scandalized by Justice Clarence Thomas. The corporate leftist press figures Americans can handle only one scandal at a time, and so writing about Thomas takes the focus off the Bidens, père and fils. A Washington Post columnist has been frothing at his keyboard about Justice Thomas because . . . well, he says it’s because Thomas didn’t fill out an ethics form properly. Isn’t that rich? The Washington Post, which didn’t cover the Hunter Biden laptop story and barely covered the Antony Blinken 51-lying spooks laptop coverup scandal, is complaining about some technical errors in Thomas’ financial disclosure form. “Court watchers,” writes Greg Sargent, “believe [congressional inaction in this area] has helped encourage Supreme Court justices such as Clarence Thomas to disregard any sense of propriety, [any?] as the string of revelations about Thomas’s slipshod approach to ethics has shown.”
What utter balderdash. The Wall Street Journal recently ran three pieces by James Taranto completely debunking the Thomas ethics “scandal” story. Taranto concedes Thomas may have to file an amended financial disclosure form to report his share of a sale of his mother’s house. Big deal. Taranto also reported that Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg had to amend her 2011 report, which “inadvertently omitted” certain information as well as her 2017 form to report a gift she had “inadvertently omitted.” Justice Stephen Breyer also reported that he had “inadvertently omitted” two stock sales by his wife. However, the trials themselves did not have the prevention of infection or transmission as a measured endpoint. Rather, the trials measured protection against symptomatic disease for two months after a two-dose vaccination sequence. Prevention of symptomatic infection is obviously a distinct clinical endpoint from prevention of infection or transmission for a virus that can spread asymptomatically. Wailzer: Large study finds people who received COVID jab have higher risk of visual impairment
A new large cohort study revealed that people who received the COVID-19 injections were up to 3.5 times more likely to suffer from visual impairment than the unvaccinated. The study, published in the renowned British scientific journal Nature, found that the overall “risk of retinal vascular occlusion in the vaccinated cohort” was significantly higher than in the unvaccinated. Retinal vascular occlusion is a prevalent cause of visual impairment. One common type of retinal vascular occlusion is Retinal Vein Occlusion (RVO), where “the flow of blood from the retina [blood vessels inside the eye]” to the heart is blocked “often because a [blood] clot is blocking the retinal vein.” RVO and other types of retinal vascular occlusion can lead to vision loss, including permanent blindness.

Few of his supporters were surprised to learn that Trump was going to do a sit-down in New Hampshire for CNN. The man does not shy away from potential political disasters; he thrives on them, runs straight at them, unafraid. Why? Because he always comes out of these things having won bigly. Not only is he quick thinking and knowledgeable when it comes to the facts on all the relevant issues, he is gloriously entertaining, verbally and visually. The interim report of the House Intelligence Committee and Weaponization Subcommittee released Wednesday established extensive coordination between the Biden campaign and those behind the statement signed by 51 former intelligence officials that painted the Hunter Biden laptop as Russian disinformation. More explosive, however, is the fact, first reported on Tuesday by The Federalist, that a Central Intelligence Agency employee solicited a former CIA officer to sign the statement. Yet there is still much more to unravel to expose the breadth and depth of the info op painting the infamous laptop as Russian disinformation and the government actors involved. Here are five threads that will lead to the truth. Subpoena All 51 Signatories As its title stated, the House’s report focused on “How Senior Intelligence Community Officials and the Biden Campaign Worked to Mislead American Voters.” While the October 2020 letter signed by the former intelligence officials is only part of the scandal, it’s a solid entry point to learning the identity of many of those involved. […] Probe FBI’s Involvement The aforementioned strategy is a good starting point, but because members of the Biden campaign and others involved outside the government may not know — or be honest — about who inside the government participated in the election-interference scheme, investigators should simultaneously work from the FBI out. […] Probe DEA’s Involvement A third line of inquiry requires looking to the Drug Enforcement Administration and its role in executing a search warrant on the Massachusetts office of Hunter Biden’s former psychiatrist Keith Ablow. Chinese state media Xinhua News reported that a “reusable experimental spacecraft” landed in Northwest China after “276 days of in-orbit operation.” The mission was described as an “important breakthrough in China’s research on reusable spacecraft technologies.” However, the mission raised eyebrows elsewhere, due to the mysterious nature of the flight, and the spacecraft in general. The government hasn’t released any photos of the craft, and information on it is minimal, Space News reported. His groundbreaking “research” on sexual behavior included extensive observation of infant responses to sexual stimuli. Ainsley: Biden admin to allow for the release of some migrants into the U.S. with no way to track them
After more than 11,000 migrants were caught crossing the southern border on Tuesday, the Biden administration is now preparing a memo that will direct Customs and Border Protection to begin releasing migrants into the U.S. without court dates or the ability to track them, according to three sources familiar with the plans. The Biden administration began releasing migrants without court dates to alleviate overcrowding in March 2021, but had previously enrolled those migrants in a program known as Alternatives to Detention, which required them to check in on a mobile app until they were eventually given a court date. The new policy would release them on “parole” with a notice to report to an Immigration and Customs Enforcement office but without enrolling them in the program.

Recently there has been a spate of horrific murders. The killers, whether committing mass shootings or single homicides, are hard to stereotype. They can be clearly either mentally ill or simply innately evil. They can kill for revenge, for ideological purposes, out of hatred, for notoriety—or for no known reason at all.
They are probably left-wing and right-wing, white, black, and brown, young, and old. While their weapons of choice are semiautomatic rifles, there are plenty of killers who favor handguns and even knives. Unfortunately, these tragedies increasingly have become politicized. Yet our media and politicians do not apply a common standard of reporting about either the victims, the killers, or the apparent motives and circumstances of the violence. Instead, each horror is quickly analyzed for its political usefulness. Then its details are electively downplayed or emphasized, depending upon the political agenda at work.
A sad example was the terrible murder spree at the private Christian Covenant School in Nashville. A transgender male lethally shot six people, including three 9-year-old children. Almost immediately, three media narratives emerged.

Back in 2020, days before the pandemic lockdowns began, I attended a showing and director’s presentation of ‘The Chosen’ in Beverly Hills and was astonished at the success of series, defying Hollywood norms. I wrote about it here. Since then … its success has only gotten bigger — exponentially bigger.

A baby has been born using three people’s DNA for the first time in the UK, the fertility regulator has confirmed. Most of their DNA comes from their two parents and around 0.1% from a third, donor woman. The pioneering technique is an attempt to prevent children being born with devastating mitochondrial diseases. Fewer than five such babies have been born, but no further details have been released. Mitochondrial diseases are incurable and can be fatal within days or even hours of birth. Some families have lost multiple children and this technique is seen as the only option for them to have a healthy child of their own.
