Fleetwood: Rhode Island Supreme Court Rejects Brief From Doctors Advising Against Giving Kids The Covid Jab

The Rhode Island Supreme Court has rejected an amicus brief filed in a case set to be heard on Thursday in which dozens of medical doctors and academic scientists argue that the risks associated with giving children the Covid-19 shot outweigh the benefits. The case in question involves Lauren and Joshua Nagel, the parents of two daughters, ages 5 and 8. Nearly three years ago, Lauren and Joshua were granted a divorce by a final decree in September 2020. According to the former couple’s divorce agreement, both Lauren and Joshua would share in all major decisions affecting their children’s health — including elective medical choices. Upon the rollout of the Covid shots, Lauren wanted to give her children the experimental jab, but Joshua did not. Unable to come to an agreement, Lauren sought an order from a trial court last year that would grant her unilateral authority to give her and Joshua’s daughters the shot based upon her pediatrician’s advice, which was to vaccinate.

The New Orleans-based 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals issued the ruling after the Biden administration appealed a decision from Texas U.S. District Judge Matthew Kacsmaryk, a Trump appointee who ruled that the Food and Drug Administration violated federal standards by rushing the pill’s approval process.

The 2-1 vote from the New Orleans judges narrowed Kacsmaryk’s ruling, which had been paused for a week to give time for an appeal, according to The Associated Press.

Jeffries, an executive board member of the Black Student Union at Binghamton University in New York, alleged in the column that black conservatives seek to emulate white conservatives, CNN first reported. In the same article, Jeffries also defended his uncle Leonard Jeffries, a black studies professor fired for antisemitic remarks, and Dr. Louis Farrakhan, who once compared Jewish people to termites. The congressman had repeatedly denied extensive knowledge of his uncle’s statements. “The House Negroes didn’t labor in the field, they were domestic servants. The House Negro was dressed up and was led to believe that he or she was better than those in the field. Most importantly, the House Negro sought to emulate the white master. This emulation was not designed with the interests of the masses at heart. Rather, the motivating force was personal gain,” Jeffries wrote.

Blood: After calls to resign, Feinstein seeks Judiciary replacement

Recuperating U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein of California asked Wednesday to be temporarily replaced on the Judiciary Committee, shortly after two House Democrats called on her to resign after her extended absence from Washington. In a statement, the long-serving Democratic senator said her recovery from a case of shingles she disclosed in early March had been delayed because of complications. She provided no date for her return to the Senate and said she had asked Majority Leader Chuck Schumer to ask the Senate to allow another Democratic senator to serve in her committee seat until she was able to return.

“I intend to return as soon as possible once my medical team advises that it’s safe for me to travel,” Feinstein said. “In the meantime, I remain committed to the job and will continue to work from home in San Francisco.”

If the affected communities fail to do so “voluntarily,” the state will have the power to override local zoning. Those who fail to applaud this combined coup by warriors for social justice and real estate interests are, you guessed it, racist. Suburban homeowners, Democrats as well as Republicans, are beginning to awaken to the deadly threat these proposals pose to their way of life.

You’re probably thinking Mr. Rebecca is some sort of gigantic ballet prodigy, right? After all, the Royal Academy of Dance only accepts the best, which is why they’re considered the most influential dance and education training organization in the world. Everyone knows only the crème de la crème are accepted into RAD… Really? […] Cleary, this man has zero talent and is a lumbering “punchline” every time he sets foot on stage. However, what’s most disturbing is that he couldn’t care less that he stole a spot from a real woman who probably worked her butt off since the age of five to realize her dream.

Multiple guests debated on a Wednesday episode of Dr. Phil over whether being “inclusive” to transgender people cheapens the idea of womanhood. Republicans hold governorships and legislative majorities in 22 states, compared to 17 for Democrats and 11 states in which government is divided. Yet an analysis of voting records found that some of the most-Republicans states have some of the least-conservative Republican lawmakers. The following is the second in a four-part series on Republican-dominated state legislatures and how they lead. It seemed like a slam dunk: Wyoming, the most conservative state in the country, was poised to introduce school choice, a policy overwhelmingly supported by conservatives that also enjoys support from most Democratic voters, especially minority ones. There was no doubt the bill had the votes to pass: Out of the state House’s 62 members, 57 are Republicans. A majority of the chamber was not only supporting the bill, but had co-sponsored it. The Arizona state legislature cast a bipartisan vote Wednesday to expel Republican state Rep. Liz Harris for allegedly violating ethics rules. The Israeli public reasonably expected a dramatic announcement was coming when the Prime Minister’s Bureau announced Monday afternoon that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu would give a prime-time press conference that evening from the Prime Minister’s Office at the Defense Ministry in Tel Aviv rather than the Prime Minister’s Office in Jerusalem. Over the past several days, Israel has found itself in the midst of a simultaneous and coordinated assault. It has suffered terror attacks countrywide and rocket volleys from Gaza, Lebanon and Syria. And Iran is on the cusp of independent military nuclear capabilities. On its face, though, Netanyahu’s press conference did not provide the expected drama. His rendering of the situation was minimalist and descriptive, rather than analytic or thematic. […] Netanyahu did not gather the public in front of their television sets at 8:15 in the evening to declare war.

[T]ens of thousands of Muslims from Israel and the West Bank were able to attend prayers at the mosque, especially on Fridays, in the first two weeks of Ramadan. That is until a group of extremist Muslims decided to turn the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound into a scene of anarchy and lawlessness, violating the sanctity of the holy site and endangering the lives of the remaining peaceful worshippers who came to the holy site with the sole purpose of praying and not engaging in any acts of violence.
These extremists, some wearing masks, seemingly did not come to pray. They came, on the face of it, with the aim of rioting and causing disorder. They came with stones, fireworks, wood planks and iron rods. That is not what Muslim worshippers usually bring to a mosque. They prevented worshippers from leaving the mosque. Their intention was, to all appearances, to create a violent riot against Jewish visitors and the police. In addition, they desecrated the mosque by smuggling fireworks, clubs and stones into the mosque and barricading themselves inside it using iron rods and furniture among other objects.
When the Israeli police moved to evict the agitators, Israel found itself under attack from a number of countries, as well as many in the Western mainstream media, for “assaulting peaceful worshippers” and sending its troops to “storm” one of Islam’s holiest sites.
