[…] Trump’s new book is thus certain to embarrass Oprah and possibly others, and Newsweek reported Thursday that Trump could even “face potential lawsuits” over it. This is because “it is unclear whether Trump has the right to publish these letters as he may not own the full copyright to their content.” Jane C. Ginsburg, whom Newsweek identifies as a “professor of literary and artistic property Law at Columbia University School of Law in New York,” explained that “the writers of letters, not the recipients, retain the copyright in the text.” So did Oprah allow for the publication of her letter? Members of the military who refused the COVID-19 vaccine prior to the elimination of the mandate are still eligible for firing on a case-by-case basis, the Pentagon told the House Armed Services Committee chairman in a letter Banks released Thursday A total of 69,000 troops did not receive the COVID-19 vaccine, and 53,000 sought a medical or religious accommodation, Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness Gilbert Cisneros wrote to Armed Services Chairman Mike Rogers in the Feb. 27 letter. Of the 69,000 unvaccinated troops, 37,000 applied for a religious exemption from the military’s vaccine mandate. Of those applicants, 19,100 were denied, and 400 were approved, according to the data provided in the letter. To date, 8,100 individuals have been separated from the military for not complying with the mandate.

Maryland Democrats are pushing a bill in the state legislature that would prevent anyone under the age of 25 from being charged with felony murder. Democratic Del. Charlotte Cruchfield introduced into the Maryland General Assembly the Youth Accountability and Safety Act, which would prohibit a person younger than 25 at the time of the offense from being convicted of first-degree murder under the state’s felony murder provisions. Under those provisions, murder is classified as being in the first degree if it was committed during the perpetration or attempted perpetration of several specified crimes, such as rape, arson, robbery, burglary, carjacking, and other serious offenses.

Chris Wallace should have stopped you right there. Only someone on a 24/7/365 hunt for racism would hear that slogan and think it’s racist in nature. Bill Clinton said the exact same thing in 1991 when he launched his bid to win the White House. Clinton is fondly referred to as the “first black president.”

Clinton was not and is not black. He’s a stereotypical politician, a man unafraid to distort reality for his own benefit. To you, once Trump adopted the slogan, MAGA became a Confederacy code word. Bryan, you and Bill Clinton are both actors. You feign concern for black people while seducing us with lies. Your statements to Chris Wallace come off as condescending and racist.
