National Archives denies Trump referral to DOJ was connected to Dems

The National Archives is denying Republican accusations that its decision to refer Donald Trump’s handling of classified records to the Justice Department had anything to do with an inquiry from a top House Democrat. House Republicans have been raising questions over the timing of the referral, which occurred on Feb. 9 — the same day House Oversight Committee Chair Carolyn Maloney (D-N.Y.) wrote to the agency to raise questions about Trump’s handling of sensitive documents that he retained at his Mar-a-Lago estate. But that timing is “entirely coincidental,” Acting National Archivist Debra Steidel Wall wrote in a letter to congressional Republicans on Tuesday. The Archives’ inspector general operates with complete independence from the broader agency, Wall said, and did not receive Maloney’s letter, which was directed to the Archivist.

Hubbard: Justice Thomas issues order temporarily preventing Graham from testifying in Georgia election probe

Thomas, who oversees cases from Florida, Alabama and Georgia, issued the one-page order, which will be in place while the Supreme Court debates the case further. Graham filed an emergency request to Thomas on Friday after a federal appeals court last week denied his attempt to avoid testifying before a special grand jury in Fulton County, Georgia. He argued that lawmakers have constitutional protection against a subpoena.

On Tuesday, Oct. 25, the Nevada Supreme Court affirmed a lower court’s decision that allowed hand-counting guidance to remain in place for the 2022 midterm elections. This decision comes out of a lawsuit filed by the Progressive Leadership Alliance of Nevada (PLAN) challenging Nevada Secretary of State Barbara Cegavske’s (R) recent guidance on ballot counting procedures that allows county recorders to hand count ballots (as opposed to using an electronic counter) at their discretion; the guidance does not mandate a uniform method of hand counting across counties.

The felony charge would also apply to gender reassignment surgery for individuals under the age of 19. On April 8, 2022, the Alabama legislature passed the bill based on the Eagle Forum’s draft. The bill mimics Florida’s Parental Rights in Education Bill by forbidding teachers to withhold information from parents about their children’s feelings that their gender does not match their biological sex. This applies to both public and private schools. Governor Kay Ivey signed House Bill SB184, and on May 8, 2022, the bill became law in Alabama. It’s a term they never explain, but that apparently is now a crime. So, we decide what extremist means and then we put you in jail for being one. That’s how that works. UCLA student Christian Secor, that was the guy who sat in Mike Pence’s chair on January 6, is now in prison, and he should be in prison, explained the Biden administration’s lawyers, because he had “extremist beliefs” and a “history of adhering to extremist ideology.” Really? Again, you decide what extremist is and then put me in prison for being one. In the case of Robert Morss, that was the guy who was busted in possession of a Lego set of the Capitol, the DOJ put it this way: “It is difficult to fathom a more serious danger to the community” than someone who tried to .”abort the certification of a lawful and fair election.” It’s the one kind of abortion they don’t favor, the aborting of a fair and free election. The U.S. Census Bureau admits it undercounted populations in five Republican-led states while overcounting people in six Democrat-leaning states, a disparity one congressman says cost Texas a congressional seat to which it was entitled. Rep. Troy Nehls (R-Texas) told Just the News he is demanding answers from the population-counting agency because the disparities uncovered by the 2020 post-enumeration survey show errors in counting large enough to impact the tools of U.S. representative democracy, such as electoral votes and congressional apportionment. “The numbers don’t lie,” Nehls said. “Texas was undercounted by 2%, which means we were cheated out of an additional seat in Congress. And four other Republican states were as well. As a result, these red states have less representation in Congress, fewer votes in the Electoral College, and therefore receive less federal funding.

For at least four months there had been no contacts that we know of, then—call after call, and all at the same time that the topic of a false flag nuclear event in Ukraine was also in the news, based on Russian accusations. Also in the news at that time was word of a severed cable near the Shetland Islands, and only a bit later did we learn that a Russian ship had been in the immediate vicinity. It followed on Zelensky’s demand that, if Russia should use a “nuclear weapon” of any sort, then the West should launch a “preemptive strike” against Russia. As Mercouris pointed out, although a “dirty bomb” isn’t exactly a nuke, it is something like a “nuclear weapon”. Mercouris also pointed out the curious series of events that set all this off. […] After this flurry of communications between the Kremlin and the collective West, the collective West formally denied everything. Kind of. But Shoigu says Russia has “double verified” the evidence. It sounds like they have the goods on the collective West plotting a nuclear event. I don’t know about you, but I sure as sh*t didn’t vote for nuclear war.

Phillips: US Has Only 25 Days of Diesel Supply; Shortage Could Cripple Economy

Data provided by the Energy Information Administration (EIA) show that diesel stockpiles are at their lowest level for October in records that date back to 1993, according to a Bloomberg News analysis. EIA data show that the United States, as of Oct. 14, has 25.4 days of supply—down from 34.2 days of supply four weeks prior. National Economic Council Director Brian Deese, a top adviser to President Joe Biden, told Bloomberg News last week that current diesel levels are “unacceptably” low and that “all options are on the table” to increase supplies. The diesel crunch comes just over two weeks before the November 2022 midterm elections and will likely drive up prices even more. Diesel is the fuel used by freight trains and commonly used by long-haul truckers to transport goods and food. […] “Now, after draining our emergency reserves to a 40-year low, Democrats want billions more of taxpayer dollars to refill the [Strategic Petroleum Reserve] at more than double the price,” Sen. John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) told the New York Post last week. “This is a direct attack on every single American struggling to fill their tanks and heat their homes.”

The researchers hope that unraveling how specific genes make monkeypox more deadly will lead to better drugs and vaccines. Some scientists are alarmed by the planned experiments, which were first reported by Science. If a more potent version of the outbreak strain accidentally escaped the high-containment, high-security lab at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), it could spark an “epidemic with substantially more lethality,” fears epidemiologist Thomas Inglesby, director of the Center for Health Security at the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health. That’s why he and others argue the experiments should undergo a special review required for especially risky U.S.-funded studies that might create a pathogen that could launch a catastrophic pandemic.

Perhaps they should just walk out of the military schools with their children or walk away from the military altogether. Jackson Women’s Health Organization has impacted access to reproductive health care with readiness, recruiting, and retention implications for the Force.” This is an astounding claim, unsupported by facts, details, or supporting data.
