The scientific establishment is slowly beginning to allow scientists who believe in intelligent design to have a platform. Why? It may be because the theory that the universe was crafted intentionally explains many essential realities that theories based on spontaneous chance do not. Perhaps the simplest and best argument for intelligent design is to clearly state what you have to believe to not believe in intelligent design, as I did in my book, “In the Beginning and Other Essays on Intelligent Design.” Peter Urone, in his physics text “College Physics,” writes, “One of the most remarkable simplifications in physics is that only four distinct forces account for all known phenomena.” This is what you have to believe to not believe in intelligent design: that the origin and evolution of life, and the evolution of human consciousness and intelligence, are due entirely to a few unintelligent forces of physics. Thus you must believe that a few unintelligent forces of physics alone could have rearranged the fundamental particles of physics into computers and science texts and jet airplanes and nuclear power plants and Apple iPhones. These four unintelligent forces of physics may indeed explain everything that has happened on other planets, but let us look at three essential elements of our human existence and examine whether the currently believed origin theory can explain them.

(Oregon) Secretary of State Releases New PSA On Postmark Rule
A new law in Oregon known as the “postmark rule” says that any ballot postmarked by Election Day is considered on time even if it arrives at elections offices up to 7 days after the election. Voters may be able to put their ballots in the mail as late as Election Day if their mail is collected by USPS and postmarked that day. The new law will mean that the total number of votes cast in the election will increase in the days following Election Day. These are not “late” votes. Every vote tallied by elections officials will have been cast on time. The new law could mean that very close contests will not be decided on election night. Even if the results come in a little slower, they will be accurate. The State Legislature passed the postmark rule into law in 2021.

Political watchdogs say the fund, which isn’t required to disclose the donors behind its $66 million budget, is gearing up to be one of the most consequential dark-money players of the midterm elections. And while “astroturf” groups are nothing new in politics, critics say the North Fund is part of a new breed—moving away from specific policy advocacy and delving into electoral politics.

Traynor granted the Christian Employers Alliance’s (CEA) request for a preliminary injunction in the Monday court order, enjoining the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the Department of Health and Human Services from from interpreting or enforcing the law against the CEA “in a manner that would require its present or future members to provide insurance coverage for gender transition services.” “No government agency ought to be in the business of evaluating the sincerity of another’s religious beliefs,” the court order said.

The utter futility of the Biden administration’s obsession with reviving the Iran nuclear deal has been laid bare by the latest damning assessment by the head of the UN’s nuclear watchdog. US President Joe Biden has indicated to Tehran that he is willing to rejoin the deal so long as Iran agrees to fall back into compliance with the terms of the original Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) negotiated by the former Obama administration in 2015. That would require Iran to accept the limits imposed on its stockpiles of nuclear material by the JCPOA instead of continuing with its efforts to produce weapons-grade material. According to the latest assessment by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the U.N.-sponsored body responsible for monitoring the ayatollahs’ nuclear activities, Tehran continues to defy Washington by converting some of its uranium stockpiles to near weapons-grade, thereby greatly enhancing the regime’s ability to produce nuclear warheads. Despite Tehran’s continued defiance, the Biden administration remains committed to reviving the deal, and is even reported to be exploring ways to meet Iran’s outrageous demand that Washington removes its long-standing designation of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist entity from the State Department’s Foreign Terrorist Organization list.

Kredo: How the Palestinians Pay Terrorists as Biden Pumps Millions of Aid Dollars Into Their Government
The Palestinian Authority allocates hundreds of millions of dollars to terrorists and their families even as the Biden administration pumps U.S. taxpayer funds into the Palestinian government, according to a non-public State Department report issued to Congress and obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.
The report, published on May 10, details how the Palestinian government runs afoul of a U.S. law that bars it from receiving American aid dollars until these terror payments, known as the “pay-to-slay program,” are stopped. The PA in 2019, the most recent reporting period available, allocated over $150 million to convicted terrorists. Another $191 million was paid to the families of terrorists who were “martyred” while conducting attacks against Israelis and Americans. There is no sign these payments will end, with Palestinian leaders voicing support on the international stage for the program. “The PA has not terminated payments for acts of terrorism against Israeli and U.S. citizens to any individual, after being fairly tried, who has been imprisoned for such acts of terrorism and to any individual who died committing such acts of terrorism, including to a family member of such individuals,” the State Department concluded. The PA makes these payments in cash as part of an effort to obfuscate its actions and stop the international community from holding it accountable for awarding terrorists and their families, according to the State Department’s findings.

President Biden has signed an order authorizing the military to once again deploy hundreds of Special Operations forces inside Somalia — largely reversing the decision by President Donald J. Trump to withdraw nearly all 700 ground troops who had been stationed there, according to four officials familiar with the matter. In addition, Mr. Biden has approved a Pentagon request for standing authority to target about a dozen suspected leaders of Al Shabab, the Somali terrorist group that is affiliated with Al Qaeda, three of the officials said. Since Mr. Biden took office, airstrikes have largely been limited to those meant to defend partner forces facing an immediate threat.

Joe Biden will travel to Buffalo on Tuesday, ostensibly to join the upstate New York community in mourning the murders of 10 people at a local grocery store over the weekend. It is, of course, appropriate for Biden in his role as president to grieve with Americans devastated by such a brutal massacre of innocents, especially an attack that from all accounts was racially motivated. What’s not appropriate is for Biden to use the atrocity as a platform to fuel even more hatred and division in a country ripping apart at the seams in so many ways—but that’s exactly what he will do. The man who launched his 2020 campaign for president touting the lie that Donald Trump commended “very fine” white supremacists after a 2017 protest in Charlottesville can be expected to promote another lie; violent white supremacists and domestic extremists pose a heightened threat to the country. […] There is, of course, a more political reason why the FBI won’t release crime statistics from last year; the results will contradict the administration. According to an independent analysis of three dozen police departments, hate crimes rose by 39 percent in the nation’s largest cities in 2021 with the top 10 metropolitan areas reporting a staggering 54 percent increase over 2020. The rise, however, is due to a huge uptick in hate crimes against Asians and Jews.

By the Food and Drug Administration’s own estimates, this impacts the terrified parents of at least 2.7 million babies — families that, with the rest of us, are also struggling with Bidenflation. The clear cause was the Feb. 17 FDA shutdown of an Abbott Labs formula plant in Michigan — which led Stefanik to immediately start raising alarms.(The FDA and Abbott, thank goodness, have now agreed on a plan to re-open the plant, but no word on when.) It should have been a simple, moving ceremony for people who put their lives on the line to serve the public were honored. And for the most part, it was precisely that as 15 men (or their survivors) received those honors. But what stood out was the fact that there was a little boy in the room and Biden did what he always does when little children are in his ambit…he went creepy. Before getting to Bad Touch Biden, I want to take a minute to name the honorees at the ceremony because it is they who deserve recognition:. . . […] But what men shouldn’t do is grab a little boy they’ve never met before, place him in front of their crotch, and then compulsively squeeze and stroke the little boy’s arms and shoulders. But that’s what the Oval Office occupant did during the ceremony when Jared Lloyd’s mother and his two son’s stepped up to receive his posthumous medal: . . .[…] As I always say, we have no evidence that Biden’s behavior goes beyond the public stroking, sniffing, grabbing, and whispering. However, that behavior alone is bad. Flood: Critical race theory-related ideas found in mandatory programs at 39 of top 50 US medical schools: report
At least 39 of America’s 50 most prestigious medical colleges and universities have some form of mandatory student training or coursework on ideas related to critical race theory (CRT), according to CriticalRace.org, which monitors CRT curricula and training in higher education.
Earlier this year, CriticalRace.org found that CRT was prevelant in medical schools across the country. The project from Legal Insurrection Foundation, a non-profit devoted to campus free speech and academic freedom, has since expanded its database and found even more elite medical schools are focusing on “racialization” of medicine. “The national alarm should be sounding over the racialization of medical school education. The swiftness and depth to which race-focused social justice education has penetrated medical schools reflects the broader disturbing trends in higher education,” Legal Insurrection founder William A. Jacobson told Fox News Digital.

A transgender mother who forced the seven-year-old daughter she fathered to engage in child pornography at her New Jersey home has been jailed for 25 years without parole, along with three accomplices. Marina Volz, previously named Matthew, was sentenced on Friday at Somerset County Superior Court alongside another transgender woman Ashley Romero 28, previously named Adam, and two other offenders Sean Allen, 54, and Dulcinea Gnecco, 21. Volz, 32, ran a ‘family-owned transgender pornography production studio specializing in amateur, BDSM and taboo fetish content’ from her Coburn Lane home in Franklin Township, according to acting prosecutor Annmarie Taggart, where she allowed her accomplices to sexually abuse her young daughter. The involvement of all four defendants was made clear in a string of group messages in which they discussed their plans to abuse Volz’ child.

According to the Tucson Police Department, they received a report on May 3 about an inappropriate relationship between Zobella Brazil Vinik, age 29, and a 15-year-old student. An extensive investigation including interviews and reviews of electronic devices was conducted before the arrest of Vinik.
KVOA reported that the interim complaint it obtained shows that Tucson Police “said Vinik’s ex-wife told law enforcement officials that the couple have been allowing the 15-year-old to live with them in their home.” […] . . . Vinik also led the LGBTQ+ student club, “Q Space,” in which students learn about LGBTQ+ history and are encouraged to explore their identities.”

When the leader told Amanda (name changed to protect the minor) she must be “queer” if she didn’t feel sexually attracted to anybody, and that she must be “transgender” if she didn’t feel fully comfortable in her own body, the shy little girl suspected something wasn’t right. According to Amanda, that same leader told her not to tell her parents about what would be discussed that day. […] Amanda never went back to the school after that. Instead, her parents put her in a local Christian school, even though it meant Lee would have to work nights to afford it. But as Lee and her husband saw it, there was no other choice. Despite that Amanda was pulled out of Wellington Middle School, the family’s difficulties grew. After the lesson, Amanda began to wonder whether she might truly be queer and transgender. Her mental state began to rapidly deteriorate, her mother said. Multiple family members confirmed to The Epoch Times that prior to what Lee describes as the “grooming” of her daughter at school, Amanda never showed any signs of “gender dysphoria,” the term used by psychiatrists to describe discomfort with one’s biological sex. Afterward, though, it was hard for the girl to shake the idea.

Greenfield: ACLU Files Motion Denying Existence of Women
The ACLU claims that there’s a War on Women… and it’s fighting it. “We’re Not Stupid: Outrageous Quotes from the War on Women,” the ACLU had headlined a post about its pro-abortion activism in 2013. A decade later the ACLU is arguing in court that women don’t exist. Not only does the ACLU’s current abortion coverage eliminate any mention of women, but in response to a civil rights lawsuit by women, it actually filed a motion arguing they don’t exist. Last year, the Women’s Liberation Front, one of the few remaining feminist groups that have rejected transgender intersectionality’s displacement of women, filed a lawsuit against California’s prison system over housing men who claim to identify as female together with women. The feminist groups filing the lawsuit noted that, “of the incarcerated men seeking to transfer to women’s prison 33.8% — FULLY ONE THIRD — are registered sex offenders.” […] The ACLU, along with Lambda Legal and the Transgender Law Center, filed a bizarre motion in response denying that, “‘men as a class’ are defined and differentiated from ‘women as a class’ by their ‘anatomy, genitalia, physical characteristics, and physiology.’” Are there physiological differences between men and women? Science says there are while the ACLU denies it in what may be one of the most surreal motions ever submitted to a court. Denying sexual dimorphism is up there with a motion claiming that the earth is flat.

Anyone who protests in front of a private residence in Florida can face jail time and fines under a bill Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis signed Monday. The move follows anti-abortion activists gathering outside the homes of Supreme Court justices in response to the leak that suggest the court will overturn Roe v. Wade. The legislation makes it a second-degree misdemeanor to protest in a manner that is aimed at intentionally harassing or disturbing someone in their home. Violators face 60 days in jail and fines of up to $500. Protesters can only be arrested after ignoring law enforcement’s orders to disperse, however.

Like no other media personality other than perhaps Rush Limbaugh, Tucker Carlson is moving the Overton Window in ways that make the system seeth and long to destroy him. Turkey as a member of NATO has always been a thorny and multi-layered geopolitical issue. In the latest chapter of the dynamic, Turkish President Recep Erdogan, a man with visions of his own grandiose importance as the leader of the next Ottoman empire, has said Sweden and Finland do not warrant entry into NATO because they have held positions adverse to the interests of Erdogan and the Muslim Brotherhood. As the entry point from the middle east into Europe, Erdogan has long leveraged his gatekeeper status to create an oversized influence of power. When the EU formally declared the era of multiculturalism was failing 2012, and Islamic extremists were carrying out terrorism attacks all over the NATO alliance, Erdogan leveraged his ability to open the floodgates from Syria to gain additional financial benefits.
