Reuters: Trump Asks Supreme Court To Block Release of White House Records
Former President Donald Trump on Thursday asked the U.S. Supreme Court to block the release of White House records sought by the House of Representatives committee investigating the deadly Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol. Trump‘s request came two weeks after the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit ruled that the former president had no basis to challenge Democratic President Joe Biden’s decision to allow the documents to be handed over. That decision will remain on hold until the Supreme Court acts. Biden had previously determined that the records, which belong to the executive branch, should not be subject to executive privilege, which protects the confidentially of some internal White House communications, and that turning them over to Congress was in the best interest of the nation. Trump‘s lawyers say in their court filing that the House Select Committee’s request is “exceedingly broad” and an “unprecedented encroachment on executive privilege.”

With COVID-19 cases surging across the country, the Supreme Court fast-tracked two disputes over the Biden administration’s efforts to expand vaccinations. In an unusual move, the justices announced on Wednesday night that they will hear oral arguments on Jan. 7 on two federal policies: a vaccine-or-test mandate for workers at large employers, and a vaccine mandate for health care workers at facilities that receive federal funding. The cases came to the court last week on an emergency basis, and the formal question in both disputes is whether the government should be allowed to enforce the policies while litigation challenging them continues. But the justices’ views on whether to grant emergency relief will likely be influenced by their views on the merits of the underlying challenges themselves.

This drug, has “never been shown to be life saving, and it also causes severe anemia.” As Dr. Rasnick told the BBC, “these children are going to be miserable,” and they were, writing in agony and unable to eat. If they resisted, doctors cut a hole in their belly to administer the drugs. Collette Martin, a registered nurse with 17 years of experience, told a Louisiana Health & Welfare hearing on December 6 that nurses in hospitals are witnessing “terrifying” reactions to the COVID shots, but their concerns are being ignored and dismissed. I’m an RN of 17 years: 12 years oncology and in the past 5 years I’ve been a float resource nurse to all the different floors in the hospital. I’m extremely concerned with the idea of mandating this vaccine for our children. The reactions we’re seeing in the hospital with adults are terrifying and being ignored. Just some examples of post-vaccine reactions: blood clots, heart attacks, strokes, encephalopathy, heart arrhythmia such as atrial fibrillation. In the elderly we’re seeing an increase in falls, syncope, acute onset of confusion with unknown etiology. Two young and healthy co-workers I know have vision changes, tingling and numbness in lower extremities they’re still dealing with. Another co-worker developed DVT’s [Deep Vein Thrombosis]. […]  What I also find highly disturbing is our treatment protocol. I truly believe our protocol is killing our COVID patients. When I asked other nurses their thoughts they agree. At this point doctors will admit our main treatment is not working, “But it’s all we have!” We know that’s simply not true. It’s just what the CDC will allow us to give, our hands are tied.

A Columbia University researcher who estimates COVID-19 vaccine-related deaths are “underreported by a factor of 20” told Just the News that medical journals are rebuffing his research, largely for “not very substantive” reasons. Baldor: Pentagon issues rules aimed at stopping rise of extremism
Warning that extremism in the ranks is increasing, Pentagon officials issued detailed new rules Monday prohibiting service members from actively engaging in extremist activities. The new guidelines come nearly a year after some current and former service members participated in the riot at the U.S. Capitol, triggering a broad department review. According to the Pentagon, fewer than 100 military members are known to have been involved in substantiated cases of extremist activity in the past year. But they warn that the number may grow given recent spikes in domestic violent extremism, particularly among veterans. Officials said the new policy doesn’t largely change what is prohibited but is more of an effort to make sure troops are clear on what they can and can’t do, while still protecting their First Amendment right to free speech. And for the first time, it is far more specific about social media.

Can the U.S. military actually protect our country? We should all have serious doubts. A few years ago there were troubling signs when the Iranian navy captured two U.S. Navy command boats and ten sailors; a U.S. Army tank crew finished in fourth place, behind Germany, Denmark, and Poland, in a North Atlantic Treaty Organization tank “rodeo;” and when “whistleblowers” admitted that an unacceptable number of U.S. aircraft were not airworthy and lacked capable mechanics, spare parts, and even the pilots necessary to fly them. More disconcerting and recent are the U.S. Navy’s extraordinary construction woes in what has become the most expensive aircraft carrier in the world, the U.S.S. Gerald Ford. The designers abandoned the time-proven cable system for the carrier’s elevators, the steam-driven aircraft catapult, and the hydraulic-engine arresting system in favor of electromagnetic systems. Omicron is here, and with it comes death and destruction — unless, that is, you cancel Christmas, hide in your homes, get all the boosters, double mask, and demand to see negative Covid tests and proof of vaccination for anyone who darkens your doorstep. Any precautions, no matter how seemingly outlandish, are seen as justifiable to protect yourself from this new and terrifying variant. So it is, anyway, with a disturbingly large number of reporters and commentators in the corporate press, whose coverage and individual responses to Covid have become increasingly divorced from that of the rest of America. To watch CNN or read The New York Times, you’d think omicron was the most deadly strain of the virus to date, poised to overwhelm hospitals and leave a trail of death behind it. The reality, which most Americans have readily grasped, is just the opposite: Omicron appears to be the least dangerous strain of the virus yet.
