NOTABLE QUOTES

Gov. Kristi Noem (R-SD) and former Trump Secretary of HUD Ben Carson wrote: Critical race theory is a deliberate means to sow division and cripple our nation from within – one brainwashed and resentful student at a time. And while foreign adversaries like China and Russia surely work to inflame our divisions, we are doing this to ourselves. Whether or not we can defeat this ascendant anti-Americanism is perhaps the most important cultural challenge of our lifetime, and fortunately a growing number of courageous parents, grandparents and teachers understand the stakes and have begun to speak out and push back.

Kevin Downey, Jr. challenges the Democrat false incendiary narrative that white people are out looking to kill black people: . . . the FBI knows which way the wind is blowing. As per their 2019 stats (2020 stats haven’t been released yet), black people murder more than twice as many white people every year than white people kill black people. This is not fear-mongering rhetoric, this is data, or as some people call it, science.

Stanley Kurtz contributor to National Review: Progressive urbanists’ long-cherished dream of abolishing the suburbs is now within reach. With AFFH restored to its original form by a President Biden, enforced to the hilt, and turbo-charged by the Booker strategy, suburbs as we know them will pass from the scene.

Daniel Greenfield contributor to Frontpage Magazine: Like the Ivy League and Coca Cola, the military will become another former American institution whose leaders speak in critical race theory buzzwords, focused on purging political enemies, funding leftist causes, and tightening the death grip of the Left on the United States.

Daniel Gelernter contributor to American Greatness: There are only two forms of government: One where the people are afraid of the government, and one where the government is afraid of the people. Whoever has the weapons is the ruling class, and there is only one case in all history, only in America, that the ruling class has actually been the common man.

Brian C. Joondeph, M.D. contributor to American Thinker: Mask science doesn’t add up. Neither does six feet of social distancing, quarantining the healthy, closing schools and businesses, allowing massive social justice protests but stopping a small family wedding or funeral. Medicines that have been safely taken for 60 years are suddenly going to kill anyone who dares take them, but experimental, non-FDA-approved vaccines are safe for everyone, even young children. What science are we following? Medical science, political science, or Chinese propaganda?

PEACEFULLY & PATRIOTICALLY HAVE YOUR VOICES HEARD

Prager: The Single Best Thing Americans Can Do to Retake America
The most frequent question people pose to me is: What can I do to fight back against the nihilistic anti-American destruction of virtually all the country’s major institutions? There is an answer. The single best thing Americans can do to counter the left-wing attack on America—against its freedoms, its schools, its families, its children, its governmental institutions, its sports, its news and entertainment media, its medical establishment, the CIA, the FBI, the State Department, and the military—is to take their children out of America’s schools. […] Given that all this is well-known, why do any non-Left—meaning, liberal or conservative—parents send their children to an American school? One reason is they are in denial. Many parents do not want to know what their children are being taught and the consequent damage done to them. They don’t really believe school(s) will ruin their child, let alone their child’s relationship with them. […] A second reason . . .

Fischer: Politics is Interested in You
You may not be interested in politics, but politics is interested in you. Many Americans—focused on their businesses, careers, home, and family—prefer to ignore the political battles and attendant controversy dividing our country. But neutrality is no longer an option. Alexis de Tocqueville wrote about Americans’ love of being left alone. He called it “individualism,” and he fretted that one of the risks to our experiment in self-government was the tendency to retreat from questions concerning the public—political questions—in favor of enjoying our private lives. The risk, he recognized, was that retreating would enable subversion of the whole polity by people manipulating it for their own gain. Sound familiar? Our society has morphed away from anything recognizable even ten years ago. For many, politics was always something away from home, away from daily life. It was somewhere else—often relevant mostly to small things like marginal differences in a tax bill. Not anymore. A corrosive trend has developed: . . . […] You must reject woke demands, refuse to make even token gestures, and invest instead in relationships and partnerships with people and organizations who have likewise steeled themselves against the mob’s opprobrium. The sooner you make this decision, the less disruptive it will be: . . . […] There is no escaping the political conflict we face. But you can at least side with those who aren’t committed to destroying your way of life. […] We are organizing the other side. You are not alone. There is a vibrant and growing group of people committed to a better vision. Join us.

SECOND AMENDMENT

Gelernter: Why I Need an AR-15
I don’t need an AR-15 for hunting: It’s not even legal to take a deer with one in my state—the caliber is too small. I also don’t need an AR-15 for self-defense, though I’d want to have one if someone broke into my house. And I certainly don’t need one just because it’s a beautiful piece of engineering. I need an AR-15 because the government doesn’t want me to have one. Governments hate private weapons, and have always hated them. In Europe, traditionally only gentlemen (that is, originally, only knights) were allowed to carry a sword. In Japan, the samurai’s right to carry his sword came along with the right to kill any commoner who offended him—uchisute or “strike and abandon.” In Soviet Russia, private weapons were illegal, as they still are in China. And when Hitler’s Germany swept through Holland, Belgium, and France in 1940, they put up notices giving the locals 48 hours to hand over private firearms or face death (by shooting). When England prepared to defend herself against a threatened Nazi invasion, the Home Guard was armed in part with private weapons, as well as by rifles donated by Americans, who were the only people in the world with guns to spare. These were among the weapons confiscated and destroyed when Britain banned firearms in 1997.

THE DEMOCRAT LED WAR ON AMERICA’S CHILDREN

Shrier: When the State Comes for Your Kids
Ahmed is a Pakistani immigrant, a faithful Muslim, and until recently, a financial consultant to Seattle’s high-tech sector. But when he reached me by phone in October 2020, he was just one more frightened father. Days earlier, he and his wife had checked their 16-year-old son into Seattle Children’s Hospital for credible threats of suicide. Now, Ahmed was worried that the white coats who had gently admitted his son to their care would refuse to return him. “They sent an email to us, you know, ‘you should take your ‘daughter’ to the gender clinic,’” he told me. At first, Ahmed (I have changed names in this essay to protect the identities of minor children) assumed there had been a mistake. He had dropped off a son, Syed, to the hospital, in a terrible state of distress. Now, the email he received from the mental health experts used a new name for that son and claimed he was Ahmed’s daughter. “They were trying to create a customer for their gender clinic . . . and they seemed to absolutely want to push us in that direction,” he said when I spoke to him again this May, recalling the horror of last October. “We had calls with counselors and therapists in the establishment, telling us how important it is for him to change his gender, because that’s the only way he’s going to be better out of this suicidal depressive state.”

St. Onge: Aborting Disabled Babies Is Genocide, So Why Is It Legal?
Late-term abortions have made news lately as activists attempt to solidify state-level protections for abortion access. Playing on misplaced public sympathy, they generally frame the question around exceptional circumstances like serious birth defects, despite evidence many women commit late-term abortions for the same financial or social reasons as they do first and second-trimester abortions. By presenting legislation that uses disabled or terminally ill children to expand abortion access, the pro-choice lobby exhibits how disturbing its goals are. Laws about late-term abortion often determine how we care for the most fragile children after they’re born, not just the terminally ill but also those who have a reasonable chance of survival with proper medical treatment. These laws can also have unintended consequences because they may alter how “health of the mother” criteria are applied: standards can be lowered when a baby is known to have a poor diagnosis because the risk-to-benefit ratio of continuing a pregnancy changes. In addition, “fetal anomalies” can sometimes mean relatively minor complications like a cleft lip or palate.

2020 ELECTION

Sperry: Why a Judge Has Georgia Vote Fraud on His Mind: ‘Pristine’ Biden Ballots That Looked Xeroxed
When Fulton County, Ga., poll manager Suzi Voyles sorted through a large stack of mail-in ballots last November, she noticed an alarmingly odd pattern of uniformity in the markings for Joseph R. Biden. One after another, the absentee votes contained perfectly filled-in ovals for Biden — except that each of the darkened bubbles featured an identical white void inside them in the shape of a tiny crescent, indicating they’d been marked with toner ink instead of a pen or pencil. Adding to suspicions, she noticed that all of the ballots were printed on different stock paper than the others she handled as part of a statewide hand recount of the razor-thin Nov. 3 presidential election. And none was folded or creased, as she typically observed in mail-in ballots that had been removed from envelopes. In short, the Biden votes looked like they’d been duplicated by a copying machine. […] She wasn’t alone. At least three other poll workers . . . […] . . . Judge Amero, who federal elections records show is a Democratic donor, felt compelled to unseal the ballots for a forensics review after reading the sworn affidavits submitted by election monitors. Here are key witnesses in the case: . . . […] Favorito pointed out that the potential for counterfeit ballots exists in other Georgia counties, not just Fulton. In fact, two Democrat poll workers blew the whistle on similar anomalies they witnessed in neighboring DeKalb and Cobb counties, where the election process also is controlled by Democrats.

Smith: Was George Gascón Elected by Fraud?
It appears that the election of Los Angeles County District Attorney, George Gascón, on November 3, 2020, was engulfed in substantial, and perhaps irrefutable, fraud. To determine this, I applied standard statistical fraud identification tools to the election data. […] Let me now briefly describe Benford’s Law, sometimes known as the law of first digits. This statistical tool, used frequently by fraud examiners, relies on the fact that the frequency of first digits in multidigit natural transactions, or tallies, occurs with predictable sameness. The identification of first digits is best explained by example:

Bannons War Room: Collusion: Fauci, Daszak, and the Communist Chinese Military
Watch the 7:25 minute interview at Rumble.

WATCH: Explosive, Unearthed Video Shows Peter Daszak Describing ‘Chinese Colleagues’ Developing ‘Killer’ Coronaviruses.
Daszak made the admission at a 2016 forum discussing “emerging infectious diseases and the next pandemic,” which appears to be at odds with Fauci’s repeated denial of funding gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. While describing how his organization sequences deadly viruses, Daszak describes the process of “insert[ing] spike proteins” into viruses to see if they can “bind to human cells” as being carried out by his “colleagues in China”: . . . The comments follow growing evidence that Fauci’s NIAID has deep financial and personnel ties to the Wuhan Institute of Virology – and that Daszak’s EcoHealth alliance was one of the primary proxies funneling the money to the Chinese Communist Party lab.

BIDEN/HARRIS/OBAMA REGIME: TRANSFORMING AMERICA

Davidson: On A Remote Stretch Of Texas Borderland, The Whole World Is Crossing The Rio Grande
Residents of rural Val Verde County, Texas, have never seen illegal immigration on this scale. It’s a full-blown crisis, and no one is coming to help. Something strange is happening here in remote Val Verde County, Texas: the whole world is showing up. In recent months, migrants from far-flung places like Haiti, Venezuela, Africa, and even Uzbekistan have appeared on the Mexican side of the Rio Grande, and waded across. Their numbers include families with small children, pregnant women, and the elderly. Not all of them make it. Sheriff Joe Frank Martinez says he and his deputies have seen nine drownings in the county since January — already double last year’s total. The first one was on Jan. 17, a 33-year-old woman from Haiti. “She was pregnant with twins, at term. So we’re counting all three.” Residents of this vast stretch of Texas borderland, which sits about 150 miles west of San Antonio and shares more than 100 miles of border with the Mexican state of Coahuila, say nothing like this has ever happened before.

Simonson: Soros-Backed Group Plans ‘Third Reconstruction’ Push
A left-wing advocacy group funded by George Soros and backed by 30 House Democrats is planning a yearlong campaign for a “Third Reconstruction” that includes abolishing ICE, expanding welfare for illegal immigrants, and removing criminal penalties for violent protesters. The Poor People’s Campaign, which received a grant from the Soros-backed Open Society Foundations following the death of George Floyd as part of the organization’s $220 million “anti-racist” initiative, held a Day of Action on Monday to kick off its crusade. The group counts Democratic Reps. Cori Bush (D., Mo.), Rashida Tlaib (D., Mich.), and Jamie Raskin (D., Md.) as top supporters, with the “Third Reconstruction” described to the Washington Free Beacon by a senior GOP Senate aide as the “next Green New Deal.”

Sherk: Biden Is Refilling The Swamp With Unaccountable Bureaucrats
No one votes for career federal civil service employees, but job protections empower them to pursue their personal policy preferences anyway. President Biden signed an executive order in January revoking his predecessor’s attempts to make federal bureaucrats fireable and therefore accountable. This will insulate federal employees from accountability for performance or misconduct, protecting bureaucrats who pursue private political agendas. […] Emails show many other “nonpartisan” NLRB civil servants rejoiced at Robb’s abrupt firing and fawned over Biden’s appointee. Such partisanship was not confined to the NLRB. Even the Washington Post admitted how rampant career employees’ opposition to Trump was. This behavior proves the wisdom of the founders of our civil service. George William Curtis was the chairman of the first Civil Service Commission and a champion of the Pendleton Act that created the federal civil service. He believed federal job protections would “seal up incompetency, negligence, insubordination, insolence, and every other mischief in the service.” So the 1883 Pendleton Act placed almost no restrictions on removals. Initially, agencies could easily and quickly fire insubordinate civil servants. That is no longer the case. Read more at The Federalist.

THE CORRUPT & DANGEROUS DEMOCRAT PARTY MEDIA INDUSTRIAL COMPLEX

Mr. Producer Media: Mara Gay: It Was Disturbing Seeing Dozens of American Flags
NY Times’ Mara Gay: “I was on Long Island this weekend, visiting a really dear friend, and I was really disturbed. I saw, you know, dozens and dozens of pickup trucks with expletives against Joe Biden on the back of them, Trump flags, and in some cases, just dozens of American flags, which is also just disturbing, because essentially the message was clear, it was, ‘This is my country. This is not your country.”

Haworth: Following Clarence Thomas’ Lead, Ohio AG Files Lawsuit To Classify Google As ‘Common Carrier’ Or ‘Public Utility’
Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost has asked the court to legally declare that Google is a “public utility” in a lawsuit filed against the Big Tech giant. According to Yost, Google should be viewed in the same way as electricity, water, and gas providers, arguing that Google “hurts its rivals by prioritizing its own products and services in search results, displaying them above those of competitors,” according to CNET.

DEMOCRAT PLAYBOOK: MARXIST CRITICAL RACE THEORY (WOKE IDENTITY POLITICS)

(May 14, 2021) Rufo: THE ATLANTIC INTERVIEW: transcript of my Atlantic interview on critical race theory.
The Atlantic magazine recently published a story about the politics of critical race theory, declaring that “if a single person bears the most responsibility for the surge in conservative interest in critical race theory, it is probably Christopher Rufo.” I spoke with reporter Adam Harris about my investigative reporting, legal coalition, and state legislative victories. Here is the full transcript of my interview. The Atlantic: How do you define CRT? Christopher F. Rufo: I’ll crib from a recent interview: critical race theory is an academic discipline that holds that the United States is a nation founded on white supremacy and oppression, and that these forces are still at the root of our society. Critical race theorists believe that American institutions, such as the Constitution and legal system, preach freedom and equality, but are mere “camouflages” for naked racial domination. They believe that racism is a constant, universal condition: it simply becomes more subtle, sophisticated, and insidious over the course of history. In simple terms, critical race theory reformulates the old Marxist dichotomy of oppressor and oppressed, replacing the class categories of bourgeoisie and proletariat with the identity categories of White and Black. But the basic conclusions are the same: in order to liberate man, society must be fundamentally transformed through moral, economic, and political revolution. The Atlantic: Where did you first learn of critical race theory? When did you first learn that the federal government had been using CRT, and its principles, in diversity trainings? Rufo: . . . The Atlantic: Several states have introduced bills to ban CRT training—or, at least, requiring theories to be taught in an “objective manner and without endorsement.” Do the bills go far enough? What do you make of the pushback to them? Rufo: . . .

Joondeph, M.D.: Follow the Science or Follow the Herd (Immunity)
Throughout the past 16 months of COVID, we have been told to follow the science. How has that worked out? We have heeded each word of the guru of science, Dr. Anthony Fauci, the Pied Piper of the Chinese coronavirus, . . . […] Mask science doesn’t add up. Herd immunity is another bit of science that is suddenly on par with the Earth being flat. It’s “magical thinking” according to the “follow the science” left because it can be “achieved only through the use of vaccines.” Why then before vaccines were invented, wasn’t every viral pandemic a human extinction event? Mayo Clinic explains herd immunity: . . . […] What is the herd immunity threshold for COVID?
