NOTABLE QUOTES

Sundance contributor to The Last Refuge: While it might sound innocuous for the U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security to monitor the travel habits & patterns of Americans they define as ‘domestic extremists’, we would be prudent to remind ourselves that political affiliation is just as easily defined as ‘extremism.’

Jim Hanson former Green Beret and author of a new book Winning the Second Civil War Without Firing a Shot: The main theme is how we on the right left the Left alone to work on fundamentally transforming this country while we focused on national security and business. We either face them now on the domestic battlefield or we may end up facing them on a real one.

J. Robert Smith contributor to American Thinker: The big question is, can the people thwart the cabal’s designs? Can America avoid an outright debacle? Can grassroots patriots, courts, red states, alternative conservative media, clashes of interests, and the general institutional drag built into the Constitution slam the brakes on Democrats’ power grab and lurch leftward?

Sen Chuck Schumer targets Republican state legislatures for passing election integrity laws: The laws, their various cousins in Republican state legislatures across the country, are one of the greatest threats we have to modern democracy in America .

President Biden at a Wednesday WH event: Let me make one more point. You know, I’ve told my daughters, granddaughters from the time they [were] old enough to understand what I was saying — and I mean it: There’s not a single thing a man can do that a woman can’t do as well or better. Not a single thing.

Joy Pullmann contributor to The Federalist: Is Noem’s position that our country is in such dire straights that the only possible response to people who make money cutting off children’s penises and breasts is an online petition?

SECOND AMENDMENT UNDER ATTACK

Becker: 9th Circuit Rules Americans Have No Right to Carry Guns, Either Open or Concealed
The court ruling, handed down on Wednesday, could have wide ramifications for lawful gun owners around the country. “After careful review of the history of early English and American regulation of carrying arms openly in the public square, the en banc court concluded that Hawai‘i’s restrictions on the open carrying of firearms reflect longstanding prohibitions, and therefore, the conduct they regulate is outside the historical scope of the Second Amendment,” the court decided. “The en banc court held that the Second Amendment does not guarantee an unfettered, general right to openly carry arms in public for individual self-defense.” “Accordingly, Hawai‘i’s firearms-carry scheme is lawful,” the court continued. “The en banc court rejected Young’s argument that [the state law] is invalid as a prior restraint because it vests chiefs of police with unbridled discretion to determine whether a permit is issued. Joining its sister circuits, the en banc court held that the prior restraint doctrine does not apply to Second Amendment challenges to firearm-licensing laws.” Four judges dissented from the court’s majority ruling, however. . .  Read more at Becker News.

2020 ELECTION

Ahle: The ‘Scan the Ballots’ Effort Is Moving Forward In Georgia Involving Jovan Pulitizer’s Technique of Forensically Reviewing Ballots from the 2020 Election
Pulitzer is an inventor, best known for the bar code you find on groceries and other products found in stores. He claims that by using his method you no longer need to examine the machines used in the counting to discover fraud.

Ahle: CONFIRMED: Democrat Operative Was Given Secret Internet Connection to Network Where Ballots Were Counted
Emails show that Michael Spitzer-Rubenstein, Wisconsin state lead for the National Vote at Home Institute was not only given four of the five keys to where absentee votes were being counted in Green Bay, Wisconsin but that he was also given two internet connections at the site. Votes can be changed and counts can be changed if tabulators are connected to the internet. Spitzer-Rubenstein is a Democratic operative and not an election official.

BEHIND THE DEEP STATE

Talcott: When Was The Last Time The US Gov Charged Someone With ‘Sedition’?
A federal prosecutor largely responsible for leading the criminal investigation into the Jan. 6 Capitol riot told CBS News’ “60 Minutes” that current evidence “probably meets” sedition requirements. While sedition is a charge under the United States government, it’s rarely used due to the country’s protections on free speech. Despite the charge – described as occurring when an individual “oppose[s] by force the authority” of the United States “or by force … prevent[s], hinder[s], or delay[s] the execution of any law of the United States” – being rare, Michael Sherwin, the federal prosecutor CBS spoke with, believes it could become a reality.

Sundance: Federal Judge Scolds Politically Activist DOJ For Media Statements, Interviews and Leaks
It is this writers opinion the DOJ has no plan to succeed with guilty convictions in prosecuting defendants connected to the January 6th DC protest. The process is the punishment. We see this pattern with many of the activities associated with the Lawfare group inside the DOJ. Using a weaponized justice system for political value is the essence of Lawfare. As a consequence, the politically weaponized DOJ is engaged in a public narrative building campaign intended to create political value only. Prosecutor Michael Sherwin appearing on 60 minutes in combination with DOJ officials giving statements to the New York Times is exactly the same historic pattern used by Main Justice in their political attacks against President Trump and his campaign. AG Merrick Garland takes-over exactly where Loretta Lynch, Sally Yates, Eric Holder and DAG Rod Rosenstein left off. However, this time . . .

Sundance: Prosecutors Now Backing Away from Statements and Charges Against January 6th Protestors
Interesting that Reuters would outline the walk-backs. Even more interesting that the details of the walk-backs seem to prove the DOJ never actually intended to win any of these cases, but rather wanted to advance a political narrative about extremists through their earlier statements. The approach of building a political narrative through false accusations and over-charging in the DOJ is the essence of Lawfare. The government has endless taxpayer resources to fuel their political weaponization of the judiciary. The process of the charges then becomes the punishment by design. The targets are drained financially, sometimes physically detained under false pretense, and then the DOJ walks backwards when the judges finally ask for proof. The process is the punishment for political affiliation. The DOJ is fully weaponized. The majority of Americans can clearly see this taking place.

U.S. SUPREME COURT

O’Neill: SCOTUS Set To Rule If States Can Protect The Integrity Of Their Votes
The efforts of state legislatures to enact new voting protections are in jeopardy if the Supreme Court fails to overturn the latest Ninth Circuit decision. Do federal law and the U.S. Constitution prohibit states from enacting commonsense voting requirements designed to protect the integrity of the electoral process, apply to everyone, and impose no significant burden? The Supreme Court tackled this question several weeks ago when it heard oral arguments in a case entitled Brnovich v. Democrat National Committee. Democrats are challenging the legality of two measures used by Arizona to ensure a free and fair electoral process. The first, known as the “out of precinct policy” requires individuals who vote in-person to cast their respective ballots in their designated election location. The second policy limits who may handle mail ballots to the individual voter, his or her close family member, mail carriers, and electoral officials, a policy that effectively bans groups who target vulnerable populations from engaging in ballot harvesting. Democrats allege these policies have a disparate impact on minorities and both place an undue burden on the right to vote. An en banc panel of the Ninth Circuit court of appeals agreed.

GOP

Ring: What Does the Republican Party Stand For?
For two fleeting years after Trump was elected president, the GOP controlled the White House and both houses of the U.S. Congress. This level of one-party control for the GOP was almost without precedent. Apart from 2003-2007—the end of George W. Bush’s first term in office and the beginning of his second—you have to go back all the way to 1953, the first half of Dwight Eisenhower’s first term, to find a GOP president and a GOP-controlled Congress. What the GOP did with those two years was uninspiring, and once the Democrats took over the House in January 2019, the opportunity was lost. The issues haven’t gone away. It’s been barely more than two years since the GOP lost their golden opportunity. GOP voters are disheartened by what is now obviously a rigged bureaucracy, a rigged media, and mountains of evidence of rigged elections. And the pandemic has overshadowed everything. But the core issues remain. Reflexive Platitudes Are Not Enough So what does the Republican party stand for?

Blake: Wanted: Republicans Willing To Betray The Ruling Class
The GOP needs people who put a Harvard or Yale diploma in a cheap frame in the basement and then go stick it to their former classmates. The counter-revolution is ready. It awaits class traitors to help lead it. A recent poll found registered voters support “banning transgender athletes from competing on women’s sports teams.” It wasn’t close: 53 percent support to 32 percent opposition. It’s a winning issue for social conservatives. Yet the unpopularity of the transgender agenda is obscured by the radicalism of leftist leaders in education, the legacy media, entertainment, business, and tech, who are “all-in” on transgender ideology. It’s no wonder they use their influence to ban books and silence dissenters — that’s the only way they can win. The imposition of transgender ideology is part of a class war, in which the upper class and its hangers-on are imposing a cultural revolution on a reluctant populace. Unfortunately, many Republicans are joining Democrats in this political and legal fight against the people.

CHINA: AMERICA’S MORTAL ENEMY

BREAKING: Over 200 Chinese Vessels in Line Formation Sighted in Philippine Sea within Philippine Exclusive Zone
This March 22, 2021 aerial photo shows Chinese vessels still present in the Julian Felipe Reef in the West Philippine Sea, well within the Philippine exclusive economic zone and continental shelf. […] Obviously, the Chinese are not concerned about the US under China Joe. […] The Chinese vessels massed at the reef showed no actual fishing activities and had their full white lights turned on at night despite the clear weather.

VDH: The Nature of Chinese Contempt for Us
Last week in Anchorage, Alaska, Chinese diplomats dressed down Biden Administration Secretary of State Antony Blinken and National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan. Both seem stunned by the Chinese broadsides. Apparently, as elite Americans readily confess to inherent white supremacy and racism—highlighting the complaints of BLM and Antifa—the Chinese are happy to agree that such admittedly toxic Americans should not dare to criticize China’s racist policies. Not since newly elected President John Kennedy was humiliated at the Cold War Vienna summit in June 1961 by USSR strongman Nikita Khrushchev have American diplomats been so roughly manhandled by a Communist government.

BIDEN/HARRIS/OBAMA REGIME: TRANSFORMING AMERICA

Bannister: Pelosi Calls for Gov’t-Run Health Care that ‘Goes Beyond the Doctor’s Office’
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) says that she wants to pass a law instituting government-run health care, the so-called “public option,” that “goes beyond the doctor’s office,” reaching into “all the other aspects” of Americans’ well-being. […] “It’s about housing, and it’s about clean air and clean water, and all the other aspects of the well-being of the American people. So, we see the strength of our country, not only in our military might, but in the health and well-being of the American people.”

National Pulse: Day 56 Fact-Check: Biden *DID* Tell Immigrants To Surge The Border
In real time interviews, Biden is a major liability. Even in a softball network interview, he’s an unmitigated liar. No wonder it’s taken this long to schedule a presidential press conference. President Joe Biden said a LOT on day 56 of his “largely gaffe-free” presidency. On his electoral “win”: Biden admitted that his 2020 win was probably more popular with the people of Ireland than the people of the United States—a remark that appeared on live video and aired on Hannity Wednesday night, but did not appear in any official transcript. BIDEN: “My win for the presidency was more popular in Ireland than it was in the United States.” On the immigration crisis: In his pre-recorded interview with George Stephanopoulos on Good Morning America, Biden at first tried to suggest the current border surge was nothing remarkable: BIDEN: . . . On whether he encouraged people to surge the border: . . . On Vladimir Putin: . . .

Smith: The Unfit President
The 46th president is trotted out before cameras often enough. Almost inevitably, some aspect of his meager performances proves his dysfunction. He fluffs lines, forgets, wanders off message, and, last Friday, stumbled so badly up the stairs to Air Force One that he was within an inch of serious injury.
Yet, however obvious Biden’s fumbles and stumbles, his performances are gaslighted by administration flaks and the mainstream media. Nothing to see, so move on. The establishment damn well knows better, and should have the nation’s welfare at heart, but plays along. Congressional Democrats play along, while congressional Republicans (many, not all) acquiesce. Pelosi and Schumer are full conspirators. McConnell plays dumb. Kevin McCarthy is mum. […] America effectively has no president. It has a cabal running things from the White House. It has a very vindictive, narrowly ideological president-in-training, Kamala Harris, who, when she assumes the presidency well before January 2025 offers no remedies but more trouble.

McCarthy: Has there ever in US history been a more pitiful Cabinet?
Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski have once again betrayed the American people and voted to confirm one of the most insidious persons ever nominated to a Cabinet position, “Rachel” Levine. He will now be the assistant secretary of health. Levine was as toxic as N.Y. Gov. Cuomo when it came to rendering Pennsylvania nursing homes super-spreaders of COVID, but he put his own mother in a hotel. He knew what he was doing as surely as Cuomo did. […] We are all beginning to realize, too late, that being woke is a form of mass hysteria meant to undermine every essential tenet of Judeo-Christian values. Being “woke” means adopting the new rules of the cancel culture, remaking America according to the whims of BLM and Antifa. BLM is a Marxist, anti-American, anti–nuclear family organization that is specifically pro-transgender. So Collins and Murkowski have revealed their inner anti-Americanism, a blatant betrayal of their constituents. The question of the day is, why have any Republicans . . .

INDOCTRINATION: THE DEMOCRAT PARTY’S WAR ON AMERICA’S CHILDREN

Bauerlein: Roadmap for Progressivism
Of all the departments on college campuses, schools of education are probably the most biased against conservatism. The competition is fierce, to be sure, but education schools are where former Weather Underground militant Bill Ayers calls home, and where Marxist Paulo Freire’s Pedagogy of the Oppressed remains a centerpiece of theory courses. Education departments, in other words, are the last place one would expect Republicans to shower with riches.
Yet this is exactly what happened on March 11, when Senator John Cornyn and Representative Tom Cole joined Senator Chris Coons and two House Democrats to introduce The Civics Secures Democracy Act, a bill that would devote $1 billion annually for six years to projects intended to “supercharge civics education”. Each year, the bill stipulates, $150 million will go to schools of education for teacher prep—a boon for departments dedicated to filling the heads of aspiring teachers with identity politics and progressive dogma.

WUHAN FLU: IT’S POLITICAL

Zinberg: Open Schools Now
President Biden has continually intoned that we must “follow the science.” He needs to follow his own advice and lead on the issue of school reopening. A new report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention confirms what has been known for some time: that K-12 schools are not associated with Covid-19 transmission—either within the schools themselves or out into the community, from students—and that they can safely reopen for in-person learning. The CDC cites multiple studies documenting no connection between in-person instruction and community incidence of Covid-19 or hospitalization rates. Opening schools represents little risk to kids. Children and adolescents, ages five to 17, are less likely than adults to be infected by SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes Covid-19. And when children and adolescents are infected, they are much less likely than adults to develop symptoms, suffer severe disease, or die. As of January 27, the CDC reports only 203 deaths in the under-18 age group—not even a tenth of 1 percent of total U.S. Covid-19 deaths. Nor do schools present a substantial risk to teachers and school staff.

Saavedra: Cuomo Directed Officials To Prioritize His Family, Including CNN’s Chris Cuomo, For Coronavirus Testing: Report
“High-level members of the state Department of Health were directed last year by Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo and Health Commissioner Dr. Howard Zucker to conduct prioritized coronavirus testing on the governor’s relatives as well as influential people with ties to the administration,” The Times Union reported. “Members of Cuomo’s family including his brother, his mother and at least one of his sisters were also tested by top health department officials — some several times.”
