Monica Showalter contributor to American Thinker comments on the G7 meeting: Nobody wanted to talk to him. Notice that it’s Joe who tries to glom onto some minor foreign leader at the end of video clip in a desperate bid to not be alone for the cameras. Nobody seeks him out. It’s downright sad. And it comes after Joe spent oodles of political capital sucking up to this bunch, flattering them, declaring “America’s back.” He excused the NATO members among them from their dues, jumped back on with the hideous Europe-favored Paris treaty, and gave the O.K. to Germany’s Russian pipeline, a move that’s sure to shift some German priorities. Still, after all that, and likely more, nobody wanted to talk to him. . . . Normally, the U.S. president is the main power player, the man sought out by others at such G-7 meetings, the star of the show, a man with a constellation of power players, the ultimate deal-maker.

Christopher Roach contributor to American Greatness: The Left rightly may be described as using race to divide the lower classes, while pillaging the most politically palatable source of spoils for its redistributionist policies: the mostly white middle class.

Brian C. Joondeph, MD contributor to American Thinker: The first recorded use of the donkey to represent the Democrat party was in a Harper’s Weekly cartoon entitled, “A live jackass kicking a dead lion.” While the jackass would be a better mascot, modern Democrats would consider the mascot sexist as a jackass is a male donkey. Female donkeys are called “jennies,” although in Congress they are referred to as “The Squad.” If one looks at the modern-day Democrat party, including Democrats in elected office and behind cable news anchor desks, the jackass would be a representative mascot. But post-COVID, I propose a new mascot, the simple face mask, a facial covering used to signify virtue, wokeness, and most of all, identify the user as NOT a Republican, conservative, or Trump supporter.

Christopher Roach contributor to American Greatness: . . .the number of self-quarantining Democrats may not prove to be so easily reduced. After over a year of weaponizing the worst of the pandemic and locking down the best of our society, they have come not only to believe it, but to embrace it.

Tucker Carlson Fox News host said on Thursday: “It is no longer your body, it is no longer your choice. When it comes to this vaccine, there is no escape.”

Dr. Joseph Mercola contributor to LewsRockwell.com: While many people around the world still believe COVID-19 has been one of the deadliest pandemics in modern history and those of us who have survived are the lucky ones, the facts indeed tell a very different story. When you look at how case rates and death statistics have been collected and reported, and how those parameters have changed along the way, you realize that the pandemic was a mirage, created through the manipulation of data and nothing else.

President Biden marking the 5th anniversary of the gay nightclub mass shooting released a statement: In the coming days, I will sign a bill designating Pulse Nightclub as a national memorial, enshrining in law what has been true since that terrible day five years ago: Pulse Nightclub is hallowed ground.

Jonathon Moseley contributor to American Thinker: Because of the complex nature of the Earth, including many influences we probably don’t know about, we cannot use short periods of time to draw conclusions. If we knew the Earth warmed over the last 200 years that would not tell us why, in the climate of a 4.5 billion year old planet.

Sundance contributor to the Conservative Treehouse: If the deep state wants to cover for 2020 election fraud perhaps they would flood the zone with cyber-intrusions to undermine any electronic evidence? It would not be the first time we have seen this type of cover operation.

Saavedra: Police Investigating The ‘Suicide’ Of A Reporter Who Broke Clinton Tarmac Story
Law enforcement officials in Alabama are investigating an apparent “suicide” by the reporter who broke the bombshell story in 2016 that former President Bill Clinton secretly met with then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch on a Phoenix tarmac in the run up to the presidential election while his wife, then-candidate Hillary Clinton, was under federal criminal investigation. “At 8:13 a.m. Saturday, the Hoover 911 center received a call of a person down at a residence on Scout Trace. Hoover police and fire personnel arrived to find the 45-year-old [Christopher] Sign dead,” AL.com reported. “Hoover police Lt. Keith Czeskleba said the death is being investigated as a suicide.” […] “It was a planned meeting,” Sign said. “It was not a coincidence.”

Sundance: Flooding the Zone, Another Report of Hackers Stealing Personal Data of 26 Million Big Tech Platform Users
Color me increasingly suspicious of the sudden ‘uptick’ in cyber hacking reports. The timeline tells a bigger story and my hunch is this is the creation of cover for a future U.S. government position that audit outcomes should be ignored because cyber security breaches are common. In March of this year the media reported about the U.S. Department of Homeland Security getting ready to hire public companies, individual contractors outside government, to scour public data and social media in order to provide information for the new “domestic terror watch lists.” From the description it appeared DHS was going to pay “big tech” (Google, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, SnapChat, Twitter, etc.), via contracts, to hire and organize internal monitoring teams to assist the government by sending information on citizens they deem “dangerous”, ie “domestic extremists” {LINK}. To facilitate that national security objective the Feds . . .
{…] In the background of these data breaches CTH is noting that U.S. officials are now admitting U.S. election systems are connected to the internet: . . . […] Obviously I’m professionally cynical of all DC interests and motives; nothing they do is altruistic and everything is based on their model of self-preservation of power. As a consequence . . .

Sundance: New York Times Reports Andrew Weissmann and Robert Mueller Sought, Then Hid, Special Counsel Surveillance of Trump White House Attorney Don McGhan
My headline is what happened, the New York Times headline is massive spin: “Apple Is Said to Have Turned Over Data on Trump’s White House Counsel in 2018”. Notice what the New York Times is doing here. Everything about their article is written to hide, obfuscate and ignore the reality of what their article actually is revealing. Look closely: “tactics by the Trump Justice Department“? This is far beyond spin, it is an intentional effort at cognitive dissonance. Perhaps this article is written now because the Durham investigation is going to reveal how Mueller and Weissmann conducted investigative surveillance over the Trump White House… Likely, but rather than supposition let’s just go to the reality of the details.

Sundance: AG Merrick Garland Announces The DOJ Will Scrutinize any Post-Election Audits for Evidence of Voting Law Violations
Apparently the DOJ is very worried about the ongoing movements to audit U.S. election systems and identify voter fraud issues. Attorney General Merrick Garland announces today that the Justice Department will double the number of federal employees inside the DOJ civil rights division and scrutinize any post-election audits for evidence of voting law violations.

Steve Bannon Interviews John Spiropoulos About His New Project “The Poison in Our Schools”, Cultural Marxism
John Spiropoulos appears on the Steve Bannon podcast to discuss his latest project to raise awareness of the new cultural Marxist education curriculum. John is working on a new series of videos and information broadcasts for parents to have a greater understanding about the various issues around “Critical Race Theory” and how the overall goal is essentially parallel to the Chinese “cultural revolution“.

Showalter: Biden sending in Samantha Power to clean up after Kamala Harris in Central America??
Here’s an interesting take from veteran journalist Don Surber, under the headline: WH sends someone to clean up Kamala’s mess: Kamala Harris’s weak response to the border crisis — “do not come, do not come” — on a trip to Central America has led the Democrat White House to send a grown up there, Samantha Power. Central American leaders worked with President Trump to stem the flow north. Biden put out the welcome mat. Biden’s open borders policy irks the leaders of Mexico, El Salvador, Honduras, and Guatemala. Guatemalan President Alejandro Giammattei ripped the Democrat White House for weak messaging, in an interview on Fox. Hence the White House’s quick action to call in someone from the bullpen. Here’s the AFP News item, which isn’t getting a lot of play in the U.S. press — I was only able to find it on Google posted on obscure third-world and small European country news outlet websites:

Hawkins: Joe Biden Pushes Gun Control on Orlando Pulse Anniversary, Ignores Attacker’s Islamic Terror Ties
President Joe Biden marked the fifth anniversary of the Orlando Pulse nightclub shooting with calls for gun control and the ability to sue gun manufacturers, but did not mention of the attacker’s Islamic terror ties.

Israel: I attended an anti-racism campus book club. It’s worse than you think.
The voluntary book club was open to anyone from the Santa Barbara community. I am a UCLA student who attends classes online. As a former SBCC student and someone who is trying to understand what the anti-racism narrative is and let others know as well, when I went into the March Zoom meeting, I was prepared for the worst. What I experienced was actually more horrifying than I ever could have imagined. The meeting began with Coleman asking us to break into small groups and discuss our identities and how we had been unwittingly racist throughout our lives. The first to go in my group was an older, white female employee of the college. It didn’t take long for her to break into tears as she reflected on how racist she had been her whole life. It wasn’t that she had committed racist acts, she explained, but rather that her white skin had made her a negative presence in “black and brown” lives. The next to speak was another white female college employee . . .

Taft: The Number of Small Businesses Destroyed by COVID Lockdowns Will ASTOUND You
COVID shutdowns championed by U.S. governors and D.C. bureaucrats are responsible for destroying nearly 40% of small businesses since the virus was unleashed on the world—and we know now that it was for little to no damned good reason. A study by the Proceedings of the National Academies of Sciences revealed recently that shutdown orders made little to no difference in COVID’s impact. From the abstract of the study: . . . […] In short, small businesses could have operated the entire time, exactly like big-box stores did, had it not been for tyrants in statehouses and mayor’s offices around the country destroying lives in the name of “science.”

Chait: The Fake History of the Filibuster Won’t Die Senators keep repeating a made-up origin story.
Advocates of the Senate filibuster can be proud of one thing. They have successfully carried out an extraordinarily effective propaganda campaign. They have convinced much of the country — and, more importantly, many members of the Senate itself — to believe in a completely made-up version of American history. The imaginary history has been repeated so often that people “know” it to be true and can rattle off its fictional elements when pressed to supply a reason why they support an institution that no overseas democracy, and none of the 50 state governments, have copied. Here is Senator Kyrsten Sinema, speaking to reporters Wednesday, repeating a version of this fake history: “The filibuster was not created to accomplish one thing or another. It was created to bring together members of different parties to find compromise and coalition. And when you think about our Founding Fathers, when they created the Senate, . . . […] First, the filibuster was not “created to bring together members of different parties.” Political parties did not exist when the Constitution was written, and the Founders famously failed to anticipate their central role in the system. The filibuster emerged in the 19th century not by any design, but, as . . .

The Prickly Pear’s TAKE ACTION focus this year is to help achieve a winning 2024 national and state November 5th election with the removal of the Biden/Obama leftist executive branch disaster, win one U.S. Senate seat, maintain and win strong majorities in all Arizona state offices on the ballot and to insure that unrestricted abortion is not constitutionally embedded in our laws and culture.

Please click the TAKE ACTION link to learn to do’s and don’ts for voting in 2024.
