TODAY, JUNE 14, 2021, IS NATIONAL FLAG DAY
Woodrow Wilson 29th president of the United States: “I … call your attention to the approach of the anniversary of the day upon which THE FLAG OF THE UNITED STATES was adopted by the Congress as the emblem of the Union … I therefore … request that throughout the nation … the FOURTEENTH DAY of JUNE be observed as FLAG DAY with special patriotic exercises … to give significant expressions to our thoughtful love of America, our comprehension of the great mission of liberty and justice … for an America which no man can corrupt, no influence draw away from its ideals, no force divide against itself …Done at the City of Washington … in the year of Our Lord one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.”

On this Flag Day, the 244th anniversary of the Continental Congress’s adoption of the Stars and Stripes, take a moment to reflect on both the well-cherished and little-known history of Old Glory. Before the Stars and Stripes, American naval forces and George Washington’s Continental Army flew the “Continental Colors,” which displayed the British Union Jack in the top left corner instead of the familiar constellation of stars on a blue background. Also known as the “Grand Union Flag,” its first recorded use was in December 1775 by naval officer John Paul Jones. Jones would later be renowned for responding “I have not yet begun to fight!” to a query from the British ship Serapis asking him to surrender his heavily damaged ship after a naval battle, and capturing the Serapis and her escort the Countess of Scarborough three hours after his iconic quip. The Continental Colors closely resembled the flag of the British East India Company, which also displayed red and white stripes with the Union Jack in the upper left corner. After British troops allegedly mistook it for a flag of surrender, the Continental Congress passed a resolution “That the flag of the United States shall be of thirteen stripes of alternate red and white, with a union of thirteen stars of white in a blue field, representing the new constellation.” While legend credits Betsy Ross with the creation and design of the Stars and Stripes — based on claims by her grandson in 1870 — all historians have . . .

Cashill: Why Flag Day ‘Disturbs’ Obama and the Dems
As candidate and later as president, Obama had to pretend to care about the flag. It wasn’t easy. In his most recent memoir, A Promised Land, he spends an unseemly amount of time on an incident that most Americans had forgotten about but that apparently left the former president emotionally scarred—his failure to wear an American flag pin. As Obama tells the story, he took to wearing a flag pin following 9-11, but after he “watched John Kerry get swift-boated and heard those who opposed the Iraq War have their patriotism questioned by the likes of Karl Rove,” he stopped. Given the Left’s control of the airwaves, Obama uses the term “swift-boat” knowing his audience will read it as a synonym for “smear.” It wasn’t. As to the cheap shot on Karl Rove, Obama provides no footnote. Undeniable, however, is that the flag-pin issue got under his skin. “Soon enough,” he writes, “conservative talking heads were hammering on the purported meaning of my bare lapel. Obama hates the flag, Obama disrespects our troops.” Writing his memoir in 2020, the memory still chafes. “Months later,” he adds, . . .

PRESIDENT TRUMP
Fred T.: RIGHT ALL ALONG: Donald Trump issues YUGE LIST of things he’s been proved RIGHT about that media LIED about
Former* President Donald Trump put out a statement on Saturday morning listing all the stories the media lied about FOREVER that they now finally ADMIT he was right about all along. It’s amazing to see it all in one place. “Have you noticed that they are now admitting I was right about everything they lied about before the election?” he writes. Then he gives the items. Shideler: No, Director Wray, the FBI is Not ‘All In’ on Antifa/BLM Riot Cases
In House Judiciary testimony Thursday, FBI Director Christopher Wray told members of Congress that the FBI had “one standard of justice” when it came to domestic terror issues and was “all in” on investigating crimes committed during George Floyd riots—which lasted all last summer—just as rigorously as it is pursuing the investigation of the January 6 riot. As of June 10, 516 defendants have been announced in the January 6 case, a single incident that lasted just hours. Many of those defendants are being held on misdemeanor charges, without bail, in a special facility just for January 6 defendants, as American Greatness’ Julie Kelly has documented extensively. In contrast, according to “The Prosecution Project,” there were only 367 federal cases related to George Floyd protests over the entire summer of 2020. That is out of 13,000 criminal charges issued over the same period.

2020 ELECTION
Coy: What Happens if the Election Audits Go Trump’s Way?
What will the military, the Supreme Court, and the people eventually do? How will the military, the Supreme Court, and the masses react to the outcome? How will the military move, how will the Supreme Court rule, and eventually do the masses rise up and take to the streets…if it becomes clear that the presidential election of 2020 was compromised, was stolen, or at the very least had way too many abnormalities and illegalities and thus the wrong person is possibly sitting in the White House? What happens if it becomes clear that President Trump was re-elected and the Progressives actually stole the election? What happens if we find out that the election was manipulated? What happens if? We might find out these answers in the coming months. Maybe. What about the forensic audits of the popular votes in the contested key states?

Sundance: Arizona Senate Liaison Ken Bennett Explains The Process of Counting Duplicated Ballots
This is one of those interesting explanations that comes in handy later on. Arizona Senate Liaison Ken Bennett explains what “duplicated ballots” are, what creates them (interesting), and what is the process for auditing them. I was unaware in Arizona -under some circumstances- you can vote by email and Fax machine. Mr. Bennett explains there are approximately two pallets of duplicated ballots that also need to go through the hand count audit phase of the Maricopa County forensic audit.

GOP
Cashill: Why Did George W. Betray Team GOP?
“In 2020 I boldly declared that Trump was the only thing standing between our country, the American people, and socialism. I turned out to be correct,” said George P. Bush in announcing his candidacy for Texas attorney general. Nearly 75 million Americans agreed, but his uncle, George W. Bush, was not among them. It is likely that if George W. had said what George P. did, the Democrats could not have “harvested” enough votes to put their man over the top. But he didn’t. The result, as George P. pointed out, “was over 30 trillion dollars in total spending and 6 trillion in next year’s annual budget.” And that is just the fiscal damage. In the year 2000, some 50 million people elected George W. Bush president. Despite his failings, almost all hung with him and re-elected him in 2004. They understood that politics is a team sport. They may not have loved their captain, but they understood he was better for the country than the other guy. The sports enthusiast Bush is, one would think he’d get the concept of teamwork. He did not. At least, he did not seem to. In his bestselling campaign book, Battle for the Soul, Edward-Isaac Dovere gives us a glimpse into what Bush was doing and saying to sabotage Trump and betray the millions of Americans who had backed both men during their presidencies. […] Dovere cited some choice lines from a speech Bush made in October 2017, hosted by the George W. Bush Institute in New York City. For those who need a refresher, here is the passage that warmed the hearts of Democrats everywhere: . . . Read more at American Thinker.

Kaminsky: EXCLUSIVE: Survey Shows Three-Quarters Of Teachers Who Have Heard Of Critical Race Theory Support It
Findings show a majority of respondents held a neutral or positive view of critical race theory. Nearly three-quarters of teachers who have heard of critical race theory approve of it. And despite the flood of media attention to the subject, more than one-third of teachers have not heard of critical race theory, with one-fourth of parents in the same boat. A little more than one-quarter of parents and teachers, respectively, were unsure if they had heard of critical race theory. […] “Given the overall lack of familiarity with the term, future surveys might do better to ask for reactions to specific tenets of CRT [critical race theory]. That said, the results do suggest that teachers are more positively inclined to CRT than parents,” Stanley Kurtz, a senior fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center, told The Federalist. “This is entirely unsurprising. What this survey shows is that we are at the beginning of the battle, and that the outcome is far from evident. Educating parents on the true nature of CRT will be a key determinant of end-result.”

BIDEN/HARRIS/OBAMA REGIME: TRANSFORMING THE US MILITARY
Perazzo, Tapson & Horowitz: Betraying America
No institution in America – from government offices to schoolrooms to corporate boardrooms and beyond – is safe today from the poisonous racism of Critical Race Theory and the “1619 Project” which posit that United States history is rooted in slavery and white supremacy, and that “whiteness” is an incurable disease. The institution whose subversion poses the greatest threat to our national security is the military, now overseen by Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin, a determined advocate of these repulsive anti-American views. […] If your military commanders tell you that your country was a racist nightmare from its inception, how does that affect your calculation as a 19-year-old when you are considering risking your life to defend it?

DEMOCRAT PARTY PLAYBOOK: MARXIST CRITICAL RACE THEORY (WOKE IDENTITY POLITICS)
Walsh: White People Have Been Made Into Our Society‘s Villains And Scapegoats. We Know How This Sort Of Thing Ends.
One of the most consequential — and, as we’ll see, most dangerous — innovations of America’s race hustler constituency is the invention of the term “whiteness.” We used to hear constant condemnations of alleged “white supremacy,” even though white supremacy as a belief system is nearly non-existent in this country, and as a legal principle is entirely non-existent. White supremacists — Klan members, neo-Nazis, and the like — are small, scattered, and insignificant. As for the law, there are no laws on the books today, anywhere, in any state or jurisdiction, that enshrine or codify white supremacy (despite what you may have heard). […] A hallowed “mental health” professional has spoken. It is healthy for black people to be proud of who they are, but it is not healthy for white people. The most healthy mental state for a white person is one of suffocating, never-ending guilt and shame. This view has become especially common among psychiatrists, psychologists, and psychoanalysts. The entire psycho-industry seems to be fueled by two primary assumptions: gender is fluid, and whiteness is bad. These are also the two primary assumptions of academia, the media, corporate America, and the United States government, but it is especially hazardous in the mental health field because these are the professionals to whom the most mentally vulnerable people are entrusted. And that gives us even more of a reason to be equal parts disgusted and terrified by a paper very recently published in the distinguished, peer-reviewed Journal of the American Psychoanalytic Association. […] One does not need to go back very far in history to see where this sort of thing leads. Our fallen species has, tragically, attempted . . .
