We certainly have an abundance of blessings to count following America’s latest political war, a cornucopia in the parlance of Thanksgiving. […] I’m proud to report the republic won — this time. That’s not to say the exceptional, shining “city on a hill” is no longer in peril. Like rust, the left never sleeps. So liberty warriors, too, must remain wide awake. Competence is back in fashion after four years of bogus “border czars”, DEI hires, and a mashed-potatoes-cognition commander-in-chief. You could say we literally dodged a bullet.

We will no longer have to hear Kamala Harris tell us over and over again that she “grew up a middle-class kid,” in a “middle-class family,” with “middle-class roots.” The folksy campaign messaging was as awkward as it was untrue.

Now only Minnesota will have to suffer with the absurd narrative that Tampon Tim Walz is a real man, man’s man, regular guy. Maybe Captain Flannel will now have some time to learn how to properly load the gun that he never carried in war.

[…] On the Founding view, and contrary to the fears of contemporary secularists, we can encourage religion while also respecting individual freedom, because the government’s authority to support belief is not the same thing as an authority to require it. All American children are constitutionally entitled to the protections of informed parental consent. Vermont family whose 6-year-old son was vaccinated with an experimental Covid-19 intervention against the family’s wishes has appealed a Vermont Supreme Court ruling. The Vermont court had ruled that the Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness Act (PREP) prohibits such claims, granting immunity to school and government personnel when they mandate vaccinations. Stunningly, the Vermont Supreme Court did not even pay lip service to the constitutional liberties implicated, ruling against traditional protections of parental rights and informed consent. But the PREP Act is not above the Constitution’s supremacy clause; it’s the other way around. Parents’ rights are being chiseled away rapidly. In Vermont, minor children may obtain transgender hormones and birth control without parental consent, and a 2024 law bars parents from seeing which library books are checked out by their children 12 years and older. Yet these are examples where the child wants something against his parents’ wishes. In Vermont’s Covid-19 vaccination case, the child protested and was forced to be jabbed anyway.

One investigative document released by the Monterey City Attorney’s Office more than suffices, containing the police report, text messages of Jane Doe to and from her husband that night, witness accounts, and video surveillance footage. This evidence is strong. On October 12, 2017, “Jane Doe” visited an emergency room to ask for a sexual assault examination. Oddly, the alleged sexual assault had occurred four days earlier, on the night of October 7-8, 2017. Since Doe had engaged in sex with her husband since then, it would make no sense for the examiner to determine if there had been recent sexual penetration, a major element of a SART exam. The only seeming purpose would have been to trigger a report of rape by the hospital, a mandatory reporter.

This is a smart move to avoid the Deep State surveillance situation that was faced in the first term. […] The Trump transition team is also not going to use the office space provided by the GSA and will instead have their own offices and security systems in place to coordinate the transition to power.

An additional aspect to watch closely. We know the Intelligence Community, the “Six Ways from Sunday” group, are going to do whatever is needed in order to protect their equity interests from the return of President Trump. Again, no pretending is needed. Currently, as Senate Majority Leader, John Thune elevates to the intelligence “oversight” group known as the Gang of Eight. There are a good many reasons to worry that the impending ceasefire with Hezbollah terrorists that Israel has chosen to accept is a bad bargain. A lot can go wrong, and there are no assurances that the quiet it promises will last. And yet, the deal that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has agreed to is probably the best Israel can get under the circumstances. Even critics of the decision must acknowledge that the Jewish state has not come away from the negotiations empty-handed but has achieved some real gains.

Previously, such transplants could be done only as part of research studies. The new rule, which takes effect Wednesday, is expected to shorten the wait for organs for all, regardless of HIV status, by increasing the pool of available organs. ‘This rule removes unnecessary barriers to kidney and liver transplants, expanding the organ donor pool and improving outcomes for transplant recipients with HIV,’ said U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra in a statement. The safety of the practice is supported by research, including a study published last month in the New England Journal of Medicine. […] All told, 500 transplants of kidneys and livers from HIV-positive donors have been done in the U.S. HIV-positive organs won’t be transplanted into patients who do not have the infection.

Iran has been seeking to settle accounts with Israel after a series of losses in its proxy network and its own air defence system on Iranian soil. A heightened terror campaign against soft targets in the Jewish world is a very real threat. The Tehran regime has attempted multiple operations against Israeli and Jewish targets in the Middle East and beyond. There has been an uptick in such plots, from Europe to South America and from Africa to Asia. It has even sought to kill current and former Israeli officials. But its lack of success in such campaigns against protected individuals in Israel’s defence and security establishment has likely increased the pressure from decision-makers in Tehran for lower-level operatives to aim for softer targets such as Rabbi Kogan, who was a Chabad emissary in the UAE.

Nelson, founder & Managing Director of Radiant Energy Group, noted “panic” among German utility executives following a “shocking 12-day wind drought.” Nelson, who holds an M.Phil in Nuclear Engineering from Cambridge University, described the situation as “coming to a breaking point.” […] In other words, Europe’s over-reliance on wind power means that when wind speeds slow, energy producers sometimes cannot meet demand. By Monday morning, Nelson’s post had nearly 41 million views on X according to public metrics.

History and geography Samuel Paty was murdered on October 16, 2020 by Abdoullakh Anzorov, an 18-year-old Islamist radical of Chechen origin. Anzorov tracked down 47-year-old Paty and brutally hacked his head off after seeing pictures and videos of him circulated on social media as part of a ruthless campaign of harassment. It began after the schoolgirl in question claimed that Paty had ordered Muslim students to leave his classroom while he showed the rest of the class caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad by satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo.
