Fifty-four years later, AbleChild applauds Representative Gallagher for presiding over the House Special Studies Subcommittee of the Committee on Government Operations investigation as it was one of the first hearings to draw attention to the government’s funding of experimental drug research using school-age children. Gallagher wanted to know from the experts how it was okay to drug children with amphetamines and Ritalin to modify behavior in school, while at the same time pushing an active national campaign against drug abuse stating that “speed kills.” The Congressman was concerned about whether the drug therapy being used by the child would become a permanent part of the child’s school record, thus years later negatively impacting the child’s life. And, finally, the Congressman raised concerns “about the mislabeling of the child and packaging an ill-conceived program as an answer to our ills in the education of our children.” […] The “experts” testifying before Gallagher’s subcommittee were as clueless then as the “experts” are today when it comes to any understanding of how the drugs worked as “treatment.” For example, Dr. Ronald Lipman testified during the 1970 hearing that “I think there are many gaps in our present knowledge. I don’t think we know as much about the neurological mechanisms underlying the action of these drugs as we might.” If Lipman were being honest, he would have admitted that the “experts” then, like today, simply did not know how the drugs “work” as “treatment” for the alleged MDA, Hyperkinesis or ADHD.

The current findings are in marked contrast with four of the five previous readings over the past decade. A majority of U.S. adults view just one — the U.S. Postal Service — positively. As luck would have it, we now have an answer to this question, and it is really bad. Congressman Massie’s Office just published a letter that Massie wrote to the Office of Inspector General for the Department of Homeland Security, which has been investigating the January 6 pipe bomb case with a specific focus on the actions of the secret service. According to the letter from the DHS IG, the FBI attested to them in writing that it was no longer in possession of ANY of the DNC surveillance footage in March 2022.

Take a look at the letter below: […] This was presented to the public as one of, if not the highest priority, investigations in all of January 6th, which DOJ authorities made very clear was of utmost importance. And yet, here the FBI is stating in writing that they had no surveillance footage from January 6th pertinent to the pipe bomb. We can only conclude that either the FBI is lying and did have footage, or they’re telling the truth and for some reason deleted the footage. Either way, the result is utterly damning, and Republican leaders need to demand answers regarding this.

If we had politicians who spoke endlessly of cheap energy, rising wages, higher standards of living, and the potential for all hard workers to become wealthy, I’d probably throw an attaboy in their general direction. But why would I follow anyone who wants to control what I eat, confiscate what I earn, regulate how I live, and leave me with nothing? When “authorities” tell us that too many people are alive today, we should probably see their words as a threat worth taking seriously.

As Chris Said writes: In 2006, Sylvain Lesné published an influential Nature paper showing how amyloid oligomers could cause Alzheimer’s disease. With over 2,300 citations, the study was the 4th most cited paper in Alzheimer’s basic research since 2006, helping spur up to $287 million of research into the oligomer hypothesis, according to the NIH. Sixteen years later, Science reported that key images of the paper were faked, almost certainly by Lesné himself, and all co-authors except him have agreed to retract the paper. The oligomer hypothesis has failed every clinical trial. Lesné’s alleged misconduct misled a field for over a decade. We don’t know how much it has delayed an eventual treatment for Alzheimer’s, and it was not the only paper supporting the oligomer hypothesis. […] We certainly prosecute people for much less dramatic frauds all the time, frauds that have much less impact. So it makes sense to punish science fraud, which has the potential to do tremendous harm. But. There are a few problems. First. . . .
