Here Are 9 Dystopian Lessons Being Taught to Children in APA’s New Book of “Science” Lesson #1. Trust the Experts: Instead of teaching kids to exercise critical thinking, when it comes to COVID-19, the book tells kids the experts did nothing wrong: “[T]his was just how science works”! The book then blames the spreading of false information and death on “friends and family”. Lesson #2. Don’t Ask Questions: Asking a question is a crucial step in the scientific process. For example, Khan Academy, Museum of Natural History, and Encyclopedia Britannica, all include asking questions at the top of their flowcharts and summaries of the scientific method. However, the APA’s science book doesn’t include asking a question anywhere in its chart of the scientific method. Instead, the “science” book teaches kids to “beware” of questions. […] Lesson #3. Last Friday, Josh Christenson at the New York Post published “State Department tried to discredit reporters, Republican pol over conservative ‘blacklist.’” The article described an internal memo showing the State Department strategizing public relations responses to the Washington Examiner’s Gabe Kaminsky, me, and Republican congressman Jim Banks. The memo criticizes Banks in an extremely devious way. The Indiana Republican last February was quoted by Gabe in the Examiner saying the Biden administration appeared to be “knee deep” in efforts to “crack down” on speech. The State Department memo listed the Banks quote among its list of criticisms to answer. However, the agency didn’t quote the Examiner. It claimed to be quoting the Russian news agency RIA-Novosti, giving the impression that Banks offered his criticism of Biden in Russian state media: But Banks never spoke to RIA-Novosti, or any Russian agency. […] The GEC memo matters because it shows the State Department’s efforts to tie domestic critics to foreign influence. . . .

A federal judge had ruled that “the term ‘girl’ includes males who identify as female.” The parents decided to stage a silent protest. Several of them wore pink wristbands with “XX” printed on them to signify the two “X” chromosomes that biological women carry in their DNA. The Bow School District Superintendent Marcy Kelley acted swiftly. She banned the parents from attending any soccer games or being present on school grounds. […] Oh for Pete’s sake. They were wearing fricking armbands! And she called the cops? […] None of us should be surprised by this. In order to force conformity to the belief that boys can be girls simply by saying so, radical advocates will shatter the First Amendment to do it.

Knowing his gutted Jan 6 indictment against the former president will never get to trial, Smith, with help by Judge Tanya Chutkan, is preparing his opening arguments in a massive one-sided DOJ brief. No one would dare to describe CNN legal analyst Elie Honig as a Donald Trump supporter. To the contrary, the former federal prosecutor frequently sides with the Department of Justice in its nonstop pursuit of Trump and those around him. So Honig’s article in New York magazine probably rattled his one-time colleagues at the DOJ. Calling Special Counsel Jack Smith’s revised J6 case a “reckless gamble,” Honig blasted Smith for ignoring the Supreme Court’s immunity guidance in Trump v US and pursuing a criminal case that has no chance of surviving future tests by higher courts. “As his 2020 election-subversion case gets back on track after the Supreme Court’s landscape-shifting immunity ruling, Smith has taken a defiant tack that likely will hurt his own cause and perhaps eventually end it altogether,” Honig wrote on September 13. Honig correctly criticized Smith for preserving in his updated indictment what the court considered “presumptively immune” conversations between Trump and Michael Pence related to the certification proceedings on January 6. […] In other words, what Smith portrays as “a detailed, fact-bound, and thorough analysis” of existing immunity questions—[…] Lady Justice weeps.

Hagstrom: Trump assassination suspect wrote chilling letter months before golf course plot: ‘I failed you’

The Justice Department released a chilling letter written by would-be Trump assassin Ryan Wesley Routh on Monday. The DOJ obtained the letter from a witness who says they received it inside a box delivered to them by Routh several months prior to the assassination attempt. Authorities say the witness opened the box only after hearing Routh was suspected in the attack. The box contained several handwritten letters as well as ammunition, among other things. One of the letters, addressed to “The World,” discussed the assassination attempt.

Researchers from MIT, Cornell and American University, financially supported by the John Templeton Foundation, created a custom made chatbot they called “debunkbot”. The AI bot was constructed to engage in back-and-forth conversations with self-described conspiracy theorists in a recent study. Using state controlled propaganda narratives as counter arguments, the bots were programmed to continually feed the person with carefully constructed arguments to see how effective it could be at brainwashing. They didn’t call it brainwashing of course, they called it “personalized in-depth conversations” to “reduce their beliefs in conspiracies” and it works by reducing the participant’s overall confidence in the theory by an average of 20%. […] Its obvious that using this tool, or tools like it, coupled with intense censorship and repetitive messaging, one could make a powerful propaganda machine for any syndicate wanting to control a population.

Both recommendations appear to have been passed down by AirNow, a federal agency that issues guidelines for what to do in situations where air pollution is high. While these unusual advisories have only officially been instated in two states, Government data shows at least 25 states have similar air pollution levels. […] Experts told DailyMail.com that the requests were ‘outrageous’, ‘unscientific’ and ‘overboard’, adding that there is little evidence the behavioral changes would have any effect on air pollution levels.

The California legislature recently passed a bill that will put warning labels on gas stoves, like we have on tobacco products. The bill awaits Gov. Gavin Newsom’s signature. Gas stove are used to cook in nearly 50 million U.S. homes, but California has been engaged in an aggressive campaign to eliminate the gas-powered appliance. Driven by anti-fossil fuel groups, like the Sierra Club, dozens of communities in California have effectively banned them by banning natural gas lines in new construction.

Although often touted as a matter of individual freedom, the grim truth is that euthanasia saves governments money.

The latest is ProPublica’s story of a Georgia woman who died after a North Carolina abortionist gave her chemical abortion pills — which, contrary to Democrat narratives, are unsafe. The article, however, pretends the death was caused by Georgia’s pro-life laws. The author of the story repeatedly attempts to conflate a procedure used to treat miscarriages, dilation and curettage (D&C), with elective abortion. In ProPublica’s telling, 28-year-old Amber Nicole Thurman had ingested the chemical abortion pill regimen, which consists of the drugs mifepristone and misoprostol. Mifepristone ends the life of the developing human being; misoprostol helps achieve complete expulsion of the embryo. It’s worth noting that the FDA’s 2000 approval of mifepristone acknowledged its risks and enacted safety requirements, including a seven-week gestational limit, requiring women to see a physician in person, and a mandatory one-time post-abortion appointment to confirm that the uterus was empty and that bleeding had subsided. […] But thanks to Democrat efforts to relax safety requirements for abortion pills, important safeguards no longer apply.
